Outdoor Bamboo Blinds?

Post by redkat7 » Sat, 14 Jul 2007 2:53 pm

Where can I purchase standard bamboo blinds other than Ikea (their matchstick blinds won't hold up to the weather)?

If you're looking for blinds for outdoor use (eg balcony) i think you can't get standard ones. Try the yellowpages.com.sg and search for bamboo chicks. There are some companies that can make waterproofed/treated bamboo blinds for outdoor use. (Can't remember the one I used, sorry, twas a few years back)

The good thing about custom making them is that they can be made such that water doesn't run into your balcony when it rains heavily etc. Unlike the standard ones that you buy off the racks.
