U should check with your local CPF department...

Even though u are working overseas, you would still be entitle to CPF deduction as this is mandatory for every working adults and subjected to employment law act....You need to inform your local department and submit some documents for them for approval on behalf of your overseas company....

Hihi, I do not think that there is CPF contribution nor any income tax for people earning income outside Singapore...I used to be working in IRAS, as far as i know there shouldn't be. You will only be taxable if the income source come from Singapore or it is from a Singapore company based in other country. In this case, income source is from UAE. NO tax!!! As for CPF, i do not think Etihad would be required to give us employer CPF contribution as well since it is not a Singapore or Singapore based company. But if you want i think you can contribute CPF on your own but it will be without the employer CPF contribution.

Regarding the Etihad interview, i did not rec the slip of paper during the initial screening on Sat but i still rec the email invitation to the final interview. NOt sure if i wanna go cos they have stated tat one of the requirement is CLEAN N EVEN TEETH..mine is crooked...but weird though...i have told the Etihad ppl when they call me before sending me the email invitation, i told them i did not rec the white slip of paper on the screening day...but still they email me.... wonder if they just email me to fulfil their quota of at least how many ppl...haiz.... :(

actually ....once u cleared everything...they will give u a form to fill, to get you cleared with the UAE govt for employment visa purposes...and then u will have to wait for their call saying that they will email you the contract offer....where u have to sign and email back to them ...and after that u have to proceed with ur medical here in singapore ....once u submit ur medical back to them they will get it screen and if everything goes well they will call u ...saying hey u r fit to fly welcome to Etihad...yahhh and u wait for them to send u , ur e-ticket....all this will take arnd 2mthns or so....my advice to u do not get excited if u receive ur first call and tender ur current job immediately...as u will end up slacking like a month at home doing nothing and just waititng for the e--ticket.....btw all the 12 of my batch mates that got thrgh till the end were given the contract,,,,so if u made it to the final cut..it means that u r already safe and secure...Best of LUCK
