Thanks for the reply! :D Wow...1:10. If i remember correctly, there were 11 ppl who made it to the final interview rite? So that means out of the 11, there's only about 1 or 2 guys?

Ah, perhaps i wasn't clear bout how many applicants made it through finals. I was from the 2pm batch and 11 of us were selected. Among us there were 2 guys if i remembered correctly. I heard from a friend who attended the 9am batch that 15 of them were selected, thus a total of 26 got to the finals. Among the 26, i'm sure there were at least 2 guys. Not sure bout the 9am batch. CHEERIOS!!

rev12000 wrote:Hello, babe. I've received your P.M, let me post what i could recall of the discussion here k. So as to share the informations to others too. CHEERS!!!

Round.1 - 2 discussion topics before 1st elimination
1.Your truck had a punctured tyre in the middle of the road and had no idea if there's a spare tyre available. In the truck there's a pregnant lady who might be giving birth soon and it was a dark and stormy night. A village is located bout 10km away. What will you do? [10minutes]

2.HaHaHa!! I can't believe i couldn't recall the 2nd question. Apologies ...

Round.2 - 2 discussion toipcs before 2nd elimination
1.You have noticed that it had past 4hours since the last serving of food or water. You are a passenger on board and had noticed a passenger next to you is slowly going into unconsciousness. You could tell most of the Cabin Crew on board are trainees from their name tags and a senior who is quite a distance away. What would you do? [7minutes]

2.Being a Cabin Crew you understand that no somking is allowed on board, but after a vvip used the washroom you could smell smoke but the smoke alarm was not activated. Knowing he's a vvip, how would you approach him. What would you do? [7minutes]

The interviewers would walked behind us, taking notes. Am really clueless bout what they are looking for during the discussion BUT please DO NOT keep quiet NOR speak too much NOR attack on other applicant's suggestion. As mainly they wanted to see how you communicate in a group. For my personal advice, sit straight / correct posture / SMILE alot [really tiring to keep smiling and keeping your posture right, it's okay :: tell yourself, least for those hours to give the interviewers the right impression]

Hope this helps you for the coming interview, all the best. GAMBATE!!!

hey thank you so so much, didnt realised u already replied me here... u can ignore my pm then, thanks yea.. really helped me alot...

good luck to you too... :)

Well, not only non-smoking on board, Qatar airways doesn't hire smokers. Yeah. You gotta quit if you decide to join. You'll be terminated if found smoking. As for destinations we fly to, you can check the qatar airways website. But don't expect that you'll fly to all destinations within a year or so, i know of some crew who has been here for 4 years and still haven't been to all destinations yet. But hey, you shouldn't be worrying about all that. The thing you should worry about is living here in Doha. It needs alot of adapting especially when we come from singapore, where we have too many things to do but too little time. In Doha, it's the opposite. So do give it a good thought before you decide to come to Doha.

Though i've been looking forward to join Qatar Airways, ironically having nightmares for the past few nights as i dreamt i couldn't adapt into their culture. GOSH, i'm unbelievable.  In everything you do whether in pursing a career, starting a relationship alas doing something different, it will always be a risky approach but it doesn't stop you from doing things. :P :P

Quote M.Scott Peck
The Road Less Traveled
Page.132 \:D/

...love requires cathexis for a beginning. We can love only that which in one way or another has importance to us. But with cathexis there is always the risk of loss or rejection. If you move out to another human being, there is always the risk that that person will move away from you, leaving you more painfully alone than you were before. Love anything that lives-a person, a pet, a plant-and it will die. Trust anybody and you may be hurt; depend on anyone and that one may let you down. The price of cathexis is pain. If someone is determined not to risk pain, then such a person must do without many things: having children, getting married, ..., the hope of ambition, friendship-all that makes life alive, meaningful and significant. Move out or grow in any dimension and pain as well as joy will be your reward. A full life will be full of pain. But the only alternative is not to live fully or not to live at all.

GHEESH, i hope i won't have a series of nightmares till i eventually hear form them bout my status.  [faint]
