For Qatar..., well i went on May 2007, but fortunately i only get selected for the next interview which is on the next day on Sunday,
Well their process like first u got to walk in and get ur number at the front door, then u may proceed inside the room and they start to chat with u guys then they start to gave u the English test when on the middle of ur Eng test they will called u one by one and take ur height and weight.... after that once ur English test has ended they will ask u to take a break and at least 20 mins time u were have to be back on the room and frm there they start to Cut off candidates...

Hmm tats all i know kos i was kicked out the first section....

P/s: For candidates who not reach 20 yrs of ages, i tell u wat, dun waste ur time they wont be bother to call or get in to u...
Only i can suggest why not u try any other airlines as in Silkair or SIA
they will preferably 18 yrs of ages will do...

Hello, babe. Am fortunate to be able to attend the rounds of Qatar Airways for their recruitment on 28thJuly'2007. The following are some details of the rounds that i've attended, as i could recall. Hope it helps ...

Round.1
Location at Hilton Singapore, the venue was in a ballroom at level.3. Please be there on time, caused the doors were closed at 9am. The interviewers were kind enough to give another 15minutes allowance though. Then was a video clip introducing Qatar Airways. Following the video was a introduction done by two of the interviewers. Mainly on the benefits of being a Cabin Crew, should you be selected. Next, was a Q & A. The applicants are allowed to ask Questions and the interviewers would clear their doubts. Lastly, all were invited to submit their application forms. During the submission of your application form, the interviewers would have a brief conversation with you. In that few minutes, it's really not enough to show them your personality but least SMILE and be speak well. Those who were selected will be called up before 5pm and will be informed of the time and venue of the Round.2 interview.
p/s :: I recalled the interviewer saying,
1.wear a short slevee blouse
2.wear a knee length skirt
3.make-up
4.and bun up your hair as you would as a cabin crew
So, i asked if a ponytail would be acceptable and she said it's fine.

Round.2
The second round of interview is on the following next day, there were two batches [9am and 2pm]. I'm in the 2pm batch. The location is still at Hilton Singapore. Just that they had moved up to the 24th storey. When the lift doors opened at 24th, there will be the two interviewers greeeting us and told us to look for our name on the stickers with numbers assign to it. The 30 plus of us were seated in a room, soon came the English test. During the English test, applicants will be called up to have their reach test taken. [NO, height and weight were taken surprisingly. Just the reach test.] After the English test, we were told to wait outside for bout 20minutes and then back into the room. NO ELIMINATION ... We proceed to the group discussion, 4 groups in total. 2 groups will have theirs done first while the other 2 groups wait outside the room and then via versa. Next, all were ask to leave the room and then were called back in after bout 20minutes. 1st ELIMINATION ... [sorry, can't remember how many were told to go] Next was another group discussion, with a total of 2 groups. Again after the discussion we were told to leave the room. After we were called back into the room past 20 minutes, 2nd ELIMINATION and came down to the 11 of us. The interviewers brief us on the ideal photo for submission and ALL of us had to re-take our passport and 4R photos. GGrrr!! Spend money again! The interviewers gave us the Qatar Airways application form for us to fill up at home and some documents with updated informations on the lifestyle at Doha. Lastly, we were told to choose our time slots for the final interview.
p/s :: The ideal photos as mentioned by the interviewers should be,
1.hands strictly by your sides
2.covered heels
3.formal blouse or shirt
4.knee length skirt
5.SMILE ... SMILE with teeth please
6.Fringe not covering too much of your forehead
7.Stand with a leg infront of another
8.Perferably no white background

Round.3
2 interviewers to 1 applicant. Submission of your Qatar Airways application form plus your highest certification plus photocopy of your passport IF only your passport valids for more then a year. During the interview, just be yourself. They didn't asked me what are the qualities of Qatar Airways or why you chose Qatar Airways. They asked questions strictly based on what you wrote on the application. After the interview, would be the 2 long , torturing weeks for their email. Either is a mail of rejection or a mail of acceptance for medical check.

ALL THE BEST for those who are going, hopes my informations helps in a way or two. The above informations are written with my sanity intact so no worries, NOW i'm going to start my anticipations all over again. Aiyaiyai!!!

Hello, babe. I've received your P.M, let me post what i could recall of the discussion here k. So as to share the informations to others too. CHEERS!!!

Round.1 - 2 discussion topics before 1st elimination
1.Your truck had a punctured tyre in the middle of the road and had no idea if there's a spare tyre available. In the truck there's a pregnant lady who might be giving birth soon and it was a dark and stormy night. A village is located bout 10km away. What will you do? [10minutes]

2.HaHaHa!! I can't believe i couldn't recall the 2nd question. Apologies ...

Round.2 - 2 discussion toipcs before 2nd elimination
1.You have noticed that it had past 4hours since the last serving of food or water. You are a passenger on board and had noticed a passenger next to you is slowly going into unconsciousness. You could tell most of the Cabin Crew on board are trainees from their name tags and a senior who is quite a distance away. What would you do? [7minutes]

2.Being a Cabin Crew you understand that no somking is allowed on board, but after a vvip used the washroom you could smell smoke but the smoke alarm was not activated. Knowing he's a vvip, how would you approach him. What would you do? [7minutes]

The interviewers would walked behind us, taking notes. Am really clueless bout what they are looking for during the discussion BUT please DO NOT keep quiet NOR speak too much NOR attack on other applicant's suggestion. As mainly they wanted to see how you communicate in a group. For my personal advice, sit straight / correct posture / SMILE alot [really tiring to keep smiling and keeping your posture right, it's okay :: tell yourself, least for those hours to give the interviewers the right impression]

Hope this helps you for the coming interview, all the best. GAMBATE!!!

:P I've just recalled the 1st discussion, 2nd question.

2.Name 5 qualities you like about Singapore.

   I'm not very patriotic you see, so it's pretty obvious that i would forget this question. [just.kidding] CHEERIOS!!!
