oh my gosh. the best island i ahve ever been to is koh tao island in thailand. its gorgeous beyond belief. alternatively yeh bintan is okay, and tioman island is another decent choice.

I like Redang Island off Malaysia and you can get a direct flight there with Berjaya Airlines.
