market near Upper East Coast Rd

Post by lsac0902 » Mon, 09 Jul 2007 6:39 pm

Hello all,

just moved in Upper East Coast Rd, not too far from Siglap Center by bus. Can anybody leaving in this area tell me where I can find wet markets?

thanks

There are several along Bedok Road South, but then that might be too far. I lived at Kew Green and was able to walk to one that I had a favourit veggie man, a good chicken man, pork and my papaya man was great to have a chat with. But this may be too far for you.
There's also one at the Bedok Interchange.

There is a wet market at Marine Parade, next to the hawker centre.

thanks. The one at Bedok interchange may be the most convenient. Anyway, I need to take the bus to go to the supermarket in Siglap Center.
