Moving from korea

Post by robb9 » Mon, 09 Jul 2007 3:16 pm

Hello Everyone, I am an American living in Seoul Korea who will be moving to Singapore in the next month. In Seoul I had free housing and the company that I will work for now will not provide it. I was wondering if I can pay for an apartment to rent and still be able to live well and save on 10000 sing dollars a month?

Also if any korean are out there and want talk or hang out let me know.

Thanks

robb

$10K a month should be pretty reasonable - although it always boils down to your lifestyle, some high-end apartments can rent for almost that figure :)

Seriously speaking, you can save quite a bit on $10K and still live well. Check the property search section of this website to get a feel for current rents.

Look at district 9, 10, or 11 if you want to live downtown (be prepared for high prices though)... or check out district 12, 15, and 20 if you don't mind being a little further out.

Hope this helps!
