Areas for Young Indian Expats (Professionals)

Post by Hedgie » Wed, 04 Jul 2007 9:19 pm

I'm an Indian guy born and raised in the States who moved here several months ago. I am thinking of moving from my current apartment in the Clarke Quay area and was wondering if there are any areas that are popular with other Indian expats from the States, UK, India, etc. Someone told me they think Tanjong Rhu was popular with the younger Indian expat crowd. I'm not married so don't care about a great family place, but would like a place where I'd meet other single Indians. Any help would be great.

Tanjong Rhu is mostly popular with the lotsa-money-to-throw-around crowd (which, given your nick, you probably belong to), but you're not really going to meet people in any condo unless you start hitting on them at the gym or something. If you want to meet Indian singles in Sing, check out the clubs around the edge of Little India or drop by our very own MBA.

Rough? Haven't seen too many hedge fund managers currently based in Clarke Quay living under bridges lately...
