When my son was 14, he wore a small from the men's dept. There is a nice surf shop at Vivo City where I bought 2 pair of boardies for him, but he's a 36/38 now at 16...all muscle.

i don't really know the size of your kid, hence it is difficult to judge the availibility of the clothes that will be fitting on him..

however all said, it is not uncommon to see typical Singaporean tennagers donning clothing which are from the brands as you had stated..

there are quite a number of shops in Singapore that sells surf clothing... price does not differ from shop to shops as they are usually fixed across all distributors in Singapore..

herewith is the list of shopping centres (together with its shops) in which you could go to: pls note that majority of them are located in the central part of Singapore

1. pacific plaza (located at orchard road)
this shopping centre is a small one but contains about 3 or 4 main stores selling surfing products

2. Novena Square (just right above novena mrt station)
a shopping centre which focuses on sporting product, it is in no doubt you could find 2 stores selling surfing products in this particular shopping centre

3. Plaza Singapura (exit from Douby Gaut MRT station)
there is a store, if i am not wrong at basement 1 by the name of flash and splash.. it is in located at the same level as KFC

4. Raffles City Shopping Centre (just exit from City Hall MRT station)
there is a billabong/roxy store at the basement of the shopping centre

5. City Link Mall (a walkway that links you from City Hall Mrt Station to various other places such as Suntec, Esplanade and Marina Shopping Centre)
look out for Flash n Splash in the area

6. Marina Shopping Centre
remember shopping there for surfing line clothing in this area earlier this year, but kinda forget which floor they are located.. however the sotres are side by side each other and are quite big, hence you cant miss them..

DISCLAIMER

I must say this list is definately not a guide to all the surfing stores you could find in Singapore. They are only the ones in which i frequent and in which I would guess is the most convenient to travel for most.

Hope the list would be good enough to allow you kid to purchase the clothing of his choice (:
