Hat Yai Plastic Surgery --DR PRINYA

Hello Beautiful People,,

Just wanna share some info on my trips to DR PRINYA in Hat Yai

Did Lipo - Did Facial Lipo & wanted to do much more

BUT please BUYER BEWARE !!!!

DR PRINYA is not a skilful surgeon. He does it like one washes the dishes.
Its just job to him. He does NOT understand the concept of beauty.

I did tummy lipo & he messed it up by doing SMART LIPO instead of the
requested Tradiitional Lipo.

He used to much force during the procedure. It was hurting for the next 3 months.

Went back for another lipo & again he messed it up. Too out too little fats

Tummy was still flabby after op!! What a sheer waste of my hard earned money!!!

Also while waiting at the reception area, I heard few stories from unsatisfied & angry ex-patients. SAD....

So people please spend a little bit more & have it done at YAN HEE. I did my first lipo there 5 years ago..Cheap & really good.

If you go to HAT YAI. the only trusted name is DR NARA !!!

Im having buccal fat removal at NARA's soon. NICE & Polite surgeon.

BUT I must say that DR PRINYA is good with laser hair removal stuff NOT
Plastic Surgery.

SO PLEASE DO TELL YOUR GOOD FRIENDS & SAVE YOUR FACE & HEALTH.

I have done my part to advise....Take care Everyone!!!

Hi Jean,

Have contacted Dr Prinya for lipo and canthoplasty - asking if he's free on the week of 21 to 29 sept. keen to travel together! I'm a girl travelling alone, so safety is kind of a concern for me if I'll be alone.

Email me at [email protected]

Haven't made enough posts to pm
Hi timshelandweed,

No bruising at all, credit goes to the arnica pills...Dr Prinya is a very patient doctor, I kept telling him wat i wanted for my nose revision and he tried his best to fulfill my expectations.

We can't decide on which implant to use; America or korea. So he suggested tat we try both implants and let me look at the mirror before he stitched me up.

Im using the korea soft implant as I prefer narrower nasal bridge.
:D
Hi babe,

i'm planning to visit dr prinya in nov, can we private chat as i would like to know more abt prinya.. n some of ur ps experience????

Departed: 09 May 2013 ( Thursday )
Back to SG : 11 May 2013 (Saturday )
Hotel: Hadyai golden crown hotel

Reached hatyai on thursday afternoon. Flight took approx 1 hr 15mins
Cant find any place selling simcard at airport :( , took taxi to hotel. ( 300thb )

Checked in, the hotel is really budget hotel kind. No roaches no weird sounds but its really creepy at night, basically theres just a toilet quite clean but dark.. beds, tv, fridge have. Air con switch to lowest 18deg to feel the coldness. wifi is only free for 1 user on the first day only if not 50THB per day per user. when checking in they wanted keep passport but we say keep ourselves, they just copied n gave us back.

After checking in , we walked to the 7-11 near the hotel, like 3 min walk to buy a simcard. BOUGHT A HELLO SIMCARD for 69 THB. no idea it was a 2g sim, but work well on iphone. ( 7-11 no nano/microsim, cut it ourselves)
Unlimited 2G network till 12 midnight, rather slow to load internet but works fine can go whatsapp !!!
Subsequent day , i top up 52 thb into the simcard for unlimited 2g each day.

Explore walk around.. first day. really not much shopping :( shall skip all the details n go to the surgery part.

Friday morning, went to Dr . Prinya clinic.
Image

Clinic was really BIG. clinic open at 9am but 8 + already have a few people waiting outside.
- MIGHT be due to him not collecting deposit, and he ask everyone to come at same time 9am?
I emailed prinya a few times and he told me i can come at 9 to do my surgery but then i believe u have to wait if u really go to him, more like a first come first serve. but please check with him if that day have a lot patients coming or not.

I did not do any surgery at prinya, waited for my friend to do hers. saw a few sg and thai people at prinya clinic waiting also. His nurse speak basic simple english.

after my friend finished blabla.. went back hotel rest.
then afternoon 2pm went dr chi. he asked me to come 2-3 pm .. in the end waited until 330 pm T_T but just 10min walk from hotel la.

His clinic is small but clean.
the counter..

had consultation in 1 of the room with him..
discussed about my eyelid surgery, he told me i had mongnolian folds /asian folds.
i m advised to cut my inner eyes open (Epicanthoplasty) or else he might not properly control my crease and i might end up with 2 crease in the inner eye area .. but i just went ahead with double eyelid and rhinoplasty lor.

was given 2 antibiotic n 2 pain killer to eat after that go 3rd floor surgery room. was ask to lie down.. then nurse strap me up cover me with blanket.. i keep telling them i want to be asleep but halfway or starting i dont think im asleep la i was blur blur but knew whats going on.
no pain at all. cause my pain tolerance is rather high.
on a scale of 1 - 10 i would say 1/2..

dr chi drew the marking on my eye first then my nose.. after that he sat beside me n carve the silicon for 30 mins n ask me to relax.
n they injected the thing to make me sedated.. surgery start liao

i cannot rmb my eyelid getting cut the feelings but i can smell the ''bacon'' smell everyone saying. after he did he start stitching i can feel him sewing it up.. but no pain unless he tug it hard just a slight pain.

next is the nose no idea how he cut it open but he use a metal thing to pull up my bridge and insert the silicon, adjust till his liking then stitch up....
i was done.. after 3+ hrs..
finished at 8 pm. eyelid was taped up.. nose also.
then i took the medicine n gels.. then go off.
went hotel the pain was sharp pain so i took 2 painkillers n sleep. drank n ate pineapple also.
Hi, sorry ... i'm abit confuse, u say u went to prinya clinic?? but dr chi drew marking on ur face??
erm.. u actually did ur ps with which doc????

Hello people,

I just did double eyelids and rhinoplasty with Dr. Prinya. I was a silent reader and decided to join the forum after reading the negative review made by fellow poster Rossnyc about him.

I am not saying Rossnyc is lying because I did not do liposuction so I don't know how good Dr. Prinya is at other surgeries. And since my eyes and nose are not fully healed, I am unable to comment on the results yet.

However, my own experience was quite favorable based on his service and attitude. The prices he quoted me was similar to the website as well, not like what Rossnyc said in the other thread. His english is ok but receptionist and nurses english are not.

The bad thing I feel is there's no "fixed" appointment. For example if your appointment is 10am, you still have to wait if someone else arrive first. I reached early and yet waited about 2 hours after the scheduled time for my turn.
And also, there are no bandages/cloth/tape/whatever covering your wound after surgery. But it didn't affect me.

In my opinion, this kind of thing is heng suay. There are bound to be not-so-satisfactory jobs. You should clarify your doubts with the doctor instead of basing your decision on one person's comment, including mine, as this concerns your face!

As this thread has helped me for my own research, I shall contribute back a little haha. This is a few hours after surgery yesterday. Now I just look like avatar.

Hello, I used "I" shaped silicone implant. Doctor will take out a box of implants with different sizes, put on top your nose to try and you can choose which size u want.

@MsLemonade yes i read your blog and you have helped me a great deal too! :D

1) He does alarplasty. I emailed him before to ask about using cartilage and this is what he replied: "Ear or septal cartilage can be put at the nose tip in who has thin skin only, not at the bridge."
But when I met him and he touch my nose, he told me that my skin would protrude weirdly if I do too high tip. That's currently the only negative thing for my nose job as I don't feel my tip is greatly raised, but nose bridge is raised and look proportion with whole nose so I'm ok with it.

2) I don't know the directions coz I took taxi. I did screenshot the directions map from his website under Contact Us and just showed the driver and said "Dr. Prinya". They will usually take your phone from your hands to look so remember to take it back!
I departed from Lee Gardens to the clinic and got charged 100baht.. BUT!! When the clinic call tuktuk for me after surgery back to my hotel (walkable to lee gardens), only 30baht!!! Ripped off.

3) I wanted cutting method (full incision) coz I feel that I have lots of fats n skin that needs to be removed. But he told me that I'm young so don't need to remove skin. He said do stitching but I was like "nooo later it will come out/won't last!" But he assured me that it's not totally sutures method. It's embedded into the muscle or something so it won't come out. Have to research about that.

He did not tell me the exact name but at that point of time after hearing him describe, I just trusted him and went with it lol. I researched myself afterwards and I THINK he used the partial-incision method because parts of my eyelid, in this updated picture today (i have cleaned off the blood) as you can see is not totally cut up and it kind of resembles the 2nd pic i saw on Banobagi website for partial incision.

Yes ur right. It's partly based on luck; no matter how good the surgeon is there's still a chance to fail. Right now I'm still swollen so I don't know if it will look good eventually. This is just my own experience and what I assume so please do your own research too~! :)

During my email consultation with him he told me for nose tip that has thick skin must use ear cartilage placement .As for bridge he recommend implant which I strongly declined. I am afraid of extrusion n infection but he kept assure me that for bridge can just use I type implant which has very low risk of perforation . Kilissa u only did alarplasty?

Questions mark !!

As his website state he is a member of thai society of cosmetic surgery I tried to google search but to no avail thus was kind of worried whether is it true that he is a plastic surgeon . There's big differences between cosmetic and plastic surgeon. Hais. Yes true enough it depends luck too. I will still go ahead with dr prinya hopefully outcome will be alright. Pray hard.
Killssa thank you for sharing your experience in this forum .

@Mskatey,

I did nose implant. Didn't do alarplasty because my main problem was flat nose bridge.

Ya.. I think it's quite hard to find out whether they are real plastic surgeons. Before I chose my doctor, those reviews I read about Prinya were mainly liposuction. And the clinic seem to mainly advertise botox, fillers and such at the entrance. When I was in the clinic, already saw a few Malaysians went to him for lipo..

I emailed Dr Nara, Dr Chi and Dr Prinya. The earliest date Nara gave me was December!!! I didn't wanna wait that long. Dr Chi told me he ONLY has "L" shaped implant and I wanted "I" shaped one. So I just decided to take a chance since Prinya always answer my questions during email consultations.
