It's call tiplasty. It can be done together with rhino. I know Dr Chi does it. But if you are asking which doc is the best. I feel it's hard for us to judge, as everyone have diff view to it. :) But if you are asking, I have experience with Dr Chi and Dr Nara. I feel Dr Chi is a better choice, in term of the way he will be able to tell you what to expect and what not to.

Hi MsLemonde

I just hope to clarify that Dr Chi and most Thai doctors (in Hatyai at least) do not do TIP-PLASTY. Just hope that forummers won't be misled. Most thai doctors say 'yes' when asked regarding tip because they use the L implant to extend the tip.

To know whether tip cartilage has been done, it requires an open rhinoplasty i.e. stitches visible at the columella, not internal incision.

I have posted my experience with Dr Chi and as much as I respect his professionalism, he and his team (assistant's name: Tukky) have not been helpful after a screw up.

Takuda i agree with you on this, Dr chi and Tukky was not quite responsive for post surgery care. I emailed them regarding the slant on my nose and the bump on my eyelids but Tukky took so long to reply and she also brushed me off saying there isnt any bump or slants. I keep insisting and send my pictures again and again till she say ok, i have to come back after 6 months. And i also asked her if there will be a discount for revision since it was done by Dr chi and this happened but gotten no replies. Dr prinya seems to be more patient and detailed in emails and his command of english is better as he seems to understand what im saying. Hais.. my next trip will be to Dr prinya but sadly he doesnt do buccal fat removal.

@MsLemonade: No worries, we are all here to learn! Just be careful and do your research! ^.*

@Serena_kow: Yes, it's important to let forummers now. I felt that Dr Chi's english was good (spoken) but after care was atrocious (in terms of email). They don't seem to care about results, just $$$. (this is really funny cos the reason I went to Dr Chi in the first place was cos i thought he wasn't like that........I guess after he started to work in Phuket hospital it became like that......)

Hi all

Have just emailed Dr Nara regarding the availability of slots to do lipo, am also keen to get my eyes done (medial and lateral canthoplasty). Any recommendations as to which docs are generally well reviewed for eyes? Don't really want scars to form especially on the inside...

Also looking for any travel partners! Am a girl travelling alone, so company will be very much appreciated <:

Likely to be travelling in mid December, seems like Nara's earliest possible appointment is about then, and can not travel during uni holidays anyway

Apologies for the very long winded post, do email me at [email protected]

Cheers

Hi Jean,

Have contacted Dr Prinya for lipo and canthoplasty - asking if he's free on the week of 21 to 29 sept. keen to travel together! I'm a girl travelling alone, so safety is kind of a concern for me if I'll be alone.

Email me at [email protected]

Haven't made enough posts to pm
