Hi all, I'm new to this forum and I have some questions I would like to ask.
Have been seeing Dr Nara all around here and i was wondering what cosmetic procedure/procedures is he good at? I'm looking at rhinoplasty and lateral canthoplasty but I saw from his site that canthoplasty is not available.

Also I saw some of his before/after rhinoplasty and they dont seem to look good to me. But saw from this forum that he has a lot of good reviews?
I prefer a more korean looking kind of nose.

I had a consultation with one korean PS clinic and they charged me too high for my nose job so i was also wondering if i can give dr nara my consultation procedures and he can do it for me?

Appreciate if I get a reply, thanks!!

hi swinglingfling.

short answer - if you're looking for a korean type nose, dr. nara probably isn't the doctor you're looking for. try bangkok.

the people who got theirs done and gave good reviews generally just wanted a higher bridge, and that he can deliver.

I see, thanks for the help!! And if i should do it at bangkok, which surgeon or place should I take note of? I'm considering Yanhee hospital but i haven't researched in-depth about it.

Whoever who did rhinoplasty at Yanhee perhaps can give me some of your review and experience?

Thanks for helping

You can get from Hatyai Watson directly. Is less than 120Baht (Less than SG$8). You may locate Watson beside Lee Garden Hotel.

I only know so much as I have researched by reading reviews. Yanhee is a hit or miss, you gotta do the research and find the right doctor. Their prices are reasonable.

There's Naravee clinic, they have a nice website, although not many reviews.

Also look at Dr Nond. He has a website. Google him.

You could also go on Bumrungrad Hospital's website and check out their doctors.

I'm personally going with Dr Somyos Kunachak at Yoskarn Clinic in the near future. It's expensive, but apparently he's the messiah of nosejobs. I've been told that his results are phenomenal to say the least. When I emailed him my pictures, he gave me the most comprehensive solution list out of all the doctors which made me trust that he knows his stuff.

That's cool. But i think i'm sticking with Yanhee, it's a hospital afterall and i've read ALOT of good reviews about the patient service at yanhee.

I also had an online consultation with the docs and got a reply email within ONE day. Very efficient! Asked them alot of questions and they patiently replied which i really appreciate. Sent them a pic of myself and they replied that they needed more photos of my current nose so i just sent them more.
Currently waiting for a reply from them. Lets see what the doc recommends :)

Hi all,

I'm heading over to Hatyai from 13th - 18th September.
Anybody interested to head over at the same period and would like to share hotel room?

I'm going alone.

Hi foolily,

No worries about getting pass the custom. I did my double eyelids and rhinoplasty back in '08 by coach because Tiger stop its flights to Hat Yai temporarily and the custom officers were fine about it.

I wore shades while going through the customs and they didn't stop me. Just had to lift up my shades for 1 second when they are looking through my passport.

One of the officer even joke about it and ask if I got myself into an accident -.-

Hi Dear,

Thanks a lot. This solves my worry for removal of stitches as I don't want to be stuck in Hat Yai for so long.i have been calling a lot of Gps but none is able to remove when they hear that the stitches is in the nose. ✌

Anyone going to Yanhee in early 2013?

Post by swinglingfling » Fri, 14 Sep 2012 1:02 am

Hey, have decided to have my rhinoplasty at Yanhee Bangkok around March 2013, would anyone be interested to go together? Thinking about leaving on the 28th of feb 2013 and returning about 7th march 2013 as doc say have to stay at bangkok minimum 7 days.

Hotel wise, considering The Ecotel, Bangkok. Only SGD$33 a night plus its 10 mins away from Platinum, Siam Square etc. Perhaps we can take care of each other after the op?
