I'll be having my chin implant surgery on Tuesday. Will my face look weird like Jay Leno swollen look or square face look on the first day after my surgery? Will it look too obvious that I had something done on my face? I made a mistake of choosing a very busy hotel and now I'm worried that people might look at me funny. Maybe I should wear a face mask and sunglasses.

Hey all, just wondering no doctors in hatyai does refining of the nose tip?
i have quite a meaty round flat nose and im afraid implants and alarplasty alone will not give me the results i want. Planning to book an appt with Dr Chi probably mid of september for buccal fat removal, dbl eyelid, epi and lateral canthoplasty, rhinoplasty and alarplasty.

if ur chin is lengthened, ur jaw will look smaller in proportion, face look sharper also nicer
I am getting very mix response from different doctor. Thailand doctor wanted me to try sliding genioplasty and possible zygoma reduction if i want.
Local doctor asked me to go for chin augmentation plus liposuction on the face to improve the jawline contour.
Korea doctor asked me to do mandible reduction with chin augmentation
I research online and people commented facial liposuction yield very little result.
Jaw reduction is a dangerous operation and i am very afraid...
yeah hence i suggested the cheapest and safest methods
Next: Forehead augmentation, botox, RF

Hi everyone!
I'm exactly 2 weeks post op from my Rhinoplasty & Alarplasty.
I'm loving my new nose so far, though it's still a little swollen
at the tip but it looked a thousand times better then how I
looked before. I hoped its a bit higher on the bridge though
but I really can't thank Dr.Chi enough, he did a great job!
I'm still regaining back my smile as the part above my upper
lip are still tight and swollen. But I'm sure it will go off in another
week! Haha.
I'm am already thinking of getting another surgery, which is cheek
implant. Just wanna ask if anyone here had performed cheek
implants before? Mind showing me the before after pic?
I'm really thankful of this forum for everything! Unable me to
notice such good surgeon at such an affordable rate!

Hi Xxyy,
Thanks for sharing your photo but seem the cut not balance and I saw the Epi scar quite obvious. Did u apply any gel? Anyway, your eyes look brighter now...still look handsome. Don't worries...

Hi,
Just want to share this info about chin implant. I'm still in dilemma whether do intra oral or external but after read this review from many docs I decided to do external. See below reviewed.
Chin Incision
Chin implants can be undertaken through either intraoral or external incisions. The infection rate through the intraoral incision is slightly higher than with the external incision but still fairly minimal. With the intraoral incision you do run a slightly greater risk of changing the way that your chin moves but in some cases this can be advantageous. The external approach leaves a small scar on the chin but this is usually well hidden under the chin. In the end, there is no clear... more

External vs internal chin implant approach
I have done over 1000 chin implants in 30 years and over 95% have been by the external approach. The reason for this is the placement of the implant along the inferior border of the chin is much better via external approach. The implant is also more stable this way and tends not to drift upwards when healing. As a side the chance of infection is reduced. The 1 cm submental scar is very hard to find after 6-12 months
