Do you mind posting pictures? I am heading to Hatyai for eye surgery on this coming saturday with Dr Chi

Hi LadyVv,
LOCATING THE CLINIC:
When I reached my hotel(golden crown plaza), the first thing I did was to go to the 7-11 store located diagonally opposite to top-up my sim card. So I asked this young lady who was helping me for directions to phi beauty clinic. She didn't really know(many locals there seem like they haven't heard of phi beauty) and it wasn't until I said "near old chinese temple, beauty clinic, beauty clinic." then she understood.
So once I exited 7-11, turned left and walked straight for about 5-7mins(u just have toj keep walking straight + look out for the name of phi beauty/hatyai hair transplantation clinic ), I found it.
DURATION OF MY STAY & HOTEL
I stayed for 8D7N. Honestly, I don't think 3D2N is enough if u don't mind going out and home to your family with bruised and swollen eyes. It was so bad I had to have my shades on even when I called for room service the next day after my surgery and I could see that the guy who delivered my food was trying to contain his laughter. I must have looked so stupid LOL. But yeah, I went alone so it was boring to the max during the trip. Couldn't take it on the third day and I was really hungry and bored so I roamed around Lee Gardens, bought macdonalds, 5 packets of pineapples and bread etc to stock up food. Of course, I had my shades on.
After staying for about a week, the bruises were gone but the swelling was still there. While passing the immigration counter, I had to take my shades off and the officer looked like he was about to laugh too. All in all, I don't think my swell was THAT bad, perhaps just weird.
As for the hotel, I would say it's decent. Found a few baby cockroaches here and there though, but I'm kinda put off by the fact that the ladies don't vacuum the carpet during room service, just sweep. Maybe that'll explain the cockroaches. Convenience wise, it's good. I was fine with the hotel overall. But I had an issue with the hotel's massage service. If you want body massage, DO DOUBLE CHECK THE PRICE AND MASSAGE WITH THE MASSEUR. The hotel's thai massage is 280bht and aroma oil massage is 700bht. I requested for thai massage and the masseur did the oil one on me. Thinking it was the norm to use oil during a massage, I didn't enquire too much. At the end, when she told me it's 700bht instead of 280bht, I was shocked. Went down to the lobby and made a quite a bit of a scene. After returning to my room, one young lady and the masseur came back to return me a portion of the money and I told them it's fine, but at the very least just tell the price in advance the next time. I know it's not a big sum of money, but I was really upset with the management practise and I do not like feeling that I'd been ripped off. Overall, the hotel was fine for me.
PROCESS
Once I was in the operating theatre, the nurses strapped my limbs and body to this bed(it's like those thick, adjustable bed you'll find at the dentist) REAL TIGHTLY. Then she poked a needle into my arm(pain is equivalent to an ant's bite) and put me under LA. I remembered staying conscious with my phone in my hand because I wanted to show Dr Chi pictures of my ideal eyes and the last thing I could recall was showing Dr Chi the pictures, him smiling back before losing consciousness. I'm awed by the effects of LA, it felt like having a really, really good sleep.
At one point in time, I woke up and felt my lower eyelid being tugged and ripped upwards and it was PAINFUL. I remembered, in bits and pieces though, that I was crying quite badly, kept repeating "pain, pain", and even attempted to unstrap myself when one of the nurses said "Stop moving! Doctor cannot cut!" I lost consciousness again afterwards . That was all I could remember during the surgery. Other than this, I would say the entire process is actually painless.

I was intending to upload some pictures for you guys but I've no idea how. But just to update on my condition, today is the 11th day after my operation and swelling on the eyelid is still obvious. Epi scar is bumping out(ARGH!) but I'll exert a little more pressure while applying my scar gel to press them down. As for lateral, there is a bit of a problem. A few days ago, I realized a bump with this hardened pus on my left inner upper eyelid(I think it was the previous edge of my eyelid where Dr Chi started cutting to extend the lateral canthus) and no matter how I cleaned it, the pus wouldn't come off. To make things worse, the bump was getting bigger, more red, and more itchy as the days went by. Feeling worried, I emailed Dr Chi immediately with pictures attached. 2 days later, he replied me that I needed to get antibiotics. So yesterday, I went to a local GP and got them. According to him, I've gotten an infection. I must admit I wasn't as meticulous in cleaning my lateral wounds as compared to my dbl eyelid and epi during the first few days after the surgery because I couldn't really spot the stitches. Anyway, I shall just take my antibiotics regularly, keep my wounds clean and see how things go. I'm not extremely flustered or anything but still hoping for the best. Crossing my fingers!
I apologize for the long post. Still, all the best to everyone! Most importantly, stay safe!
