Total turn off and really annoying with dr chi

Post by jobel1982 » Wed, 12 Oct 2011 3:34 am

hello guys,

I have make appointment with dr chi my dates in nov. I know he is full time base in Phuket. Sat and sun will base in hatyai. He keep changing my date which suppose to be what he confirm with me. I am angry because I already make my flight and hotel but he change his date I have no choice but I have to pay extra on my flight ticket. He confirm the date which he confirm again yet another email by dr chi asking when am I be available. It make me realise that is he forgotten again or something else. It is annoying and turn off which. I make me fear and lose some confident and faith in his surgery. I guess it is wrong to select dr chi. I will just find another reliable doctors. As my trip I guess I will go hatyai to relax myself. Great disappointed in dr chi. Guys I think twice before you go for dr chi. His nurse even worse, can't understand us at all,

Done my nose job with Dr Kai... He is very professional.. He gets invited to singapore every now and then to do join operation due to his expertise..

Anyway the nose job only cost me about $650 bucks. I saved so much and I am really satisfied with the results:)

You can email to [email protected], they are very good and organize groups of people to go bangkok together for a makeover tour.. I went with a girl who did a boob job and we became good friends ever since:)

Qqsk wrote:The doctor is very skillful and experience. I did for both rhino and chin for about 45 mins only! I was felt curious when the nurse told me the rhino is about 10mins, but after that it's not so fast as I got inject fillers and the doctor need to clean up before the implant fix in.
My nose is no pain at all before or after surgery, It's thank god. However, it bruise very seriously. My face can be describe as what previously forummer was said as avatar with plaster on the face:p I wonder the small rhino implant will make my bridge higher or not - -'' some more, I had swallow the fillers inside my mouth when the surgery goes. It's so disgusting but I had told to do so.

For my chin, it's reali pain like gosh compare with nose. I had to take 2 pain killers just after my surgery. And until now, it's stil pain. I can slightly see my chin shape with the plaster cover on it. It might be nice, right???

Besides, I would share the clinic with u all. The clinic is like a normal house in hat yai. About 80's house in Malaysia. The nurse couldnt speak English nor mandarin, but the doctor do speak both. The surgery room is so old fashion with old and simple surgery facilities. U won't feel very cold like others surgery room that u imagine, u keen to felt very warm while the surgery(:
But, I'm going for skilful surgeon instead of the facilities. Hahahaz

The surgeon did not let u choose the implant, as he have no fix shape implant to give u. He will cut the size that suit u with a piece of silicone block. However, u can show him the picture that u want and he will try his best to do for u. I did show him angelababy nose, he said it's too high on the bridge and might cause extruction. So he dun suggest me to do da same.:(

I can say the surgeon is nice, listen to what u want and give advice with u. The most important thing is experienced and skilful. If u r concerning about comfort facilities, u can ignore wat I said:)
Hello~Qqsk, how was your nose result? It's good?i have some question to ask you...does dr sompoj have any website or email?Where is his clinic location?do you have his clinic address?
I am going hatyai between 24 oct - 28 oct.

I am in Hatyai now. Today is day 2 from my Epi, Lateral, removal of eyebag and buccal fat removal post surgery. I visited Dr. Chi on Sat and I must say he is a very detailed doctor.

My eyes currently now are really red and slightly bruised. I told Dr. Chi to minimise the number of sitiches due to my tight schduele and he did internal incision for my eye bags so there are some internal discharge on my left eye. Vision is also slighty blurred so please pardon me if there are some typo errors.

For the epi and lateral, its seems to heal well with no raised scars, and looks like some red sratches.

The most painful thing is the buccal fat removal. oh man, my cheeks is so swollen that I look like chipmunk. Guess maybe I wore braces and it rubs against the wound inside. My cheeks..It hurts!!!

I will post some photo when i get better :)
Dr. Chi's clinic is really clean and his nurses were kind and helpful.
Dr. Chi was patient and detailed. Before i was put to sleep, he spent almost an hour just to 'draw and outline' where he will cut my eyes for the epi and lateral. The whole surgery took about 5 hours, its really long compared to my previous experience with Dr. Pat.

I woke up in the middle of the operation to see him still doing my eyes, i didnt feel any pain, just that i smell burnt flesh from the laser cutting and it freaked me out totlly.

And i remembered kicking & screaming..So embarassing, then i think he injected another dosage of LA to put me to sleep again. Thank God, I was tied up if not i cant imagine what will happened.

I will be heading back to Singapore tomorrow, pray that everything is gonna be fine.

I am really grateful to HappyCamper for his valuable sharing, wish you are here though!! I spoke to Dr. Chi about you and he send his regards to you :)

Take care, everyone and see you guys around!!
Hello leggybabe,

do you mind sharing the pics of ur post-operation pictures please!!! I was planning to go bangmod hospital for surgery but it seems like everyone here supports hatyai's surgeons..

Hope to hear from you soon

Hi confidenceboost. I am going to visit dr chi in dec for buccal+epi+lateral:)
Have already booked the flight and hotel. Perhaps you can email a few surgeons to see which one you are most comfortable with. Remember to do plenty of research though.
After looking through the many threads, I'd decided to email Dr chi, and he is patient in his emails albeit his replies can come a little slow. But I'm still crossing my fingers for the surgery.
I'll most probably be going alone(seriously hoping hatyai is safe enough). But if I can find a company thatll be great. When do you plan to do it? Wishing you luck in finding your surgeon!:)

Hi Melissa,

Can you post pix of your nose job? Can you also share the contact for Dr Kai?

why do we need to go thru a makeover tour when air tix and hotels are easily available nowadays, and singaporeans are so well-travelled?

Hello Epxofglitter,

Wow that sounds great! I wanna go hatyai too cos i have been reading this forum diligently and everyone has been raving how good Dr. Nara, Dr. Chi and Dr. Put are... And most importantly the procedures are cheap as well! Anw dont wry bout the safety in hatyai!! i would say it's really safe!! I've been thr for umpteen times since young! However, my parents have their concern and they would prefer me to go BKK. Well since they are the one paying for my surgeries, i have no choice but to go BKK. However, experiences shared with bkk surgeons are pretty limited in this forum and i'm a bit confused, in fact stressed out. Now I am considering Dr. greenchart from Yanhee hospital or Dr. Surasit from bangmod(my dad's thai fren said he's the best surgeon in thailand but im not really sure bout this).

Does anyone know if Dr. Greenchart is the best surgeon in yanhee hospital? or does anyone has other recommendations for good plastic surgeons in bkk? i've visited tokai website but it looks abit dodgy.. is it just me or what? :(

thanks in advance,
confidenceboost

nose job will only look normal right after your surgery and the next day it'll swell like mad for about 3-4 months !
so don't worry :)
