Your eyes look so good..! I am so tempted to do it too. Done the stitch method last year and one of the stitch is visible on my eyelid. Haiz.. Like to ask u some questions:

1) Is stitch removal painful ? Sounds like a dumb qn but I am getting more sensitive to pain as I go older :p

2) How long then are u able to look normal ? As in back to work/ go out w/o obvious swelling ?

4) Can the epi scar be hidden thru foundation ? Is it very obvious ?

Thanks a million =)
Thanks for compliment.
I removed my stitches on the 6th day and I didn't feel any pain during the removal. My eyelid is still numb then and in fact it is still numb today @4th week.
I went back to work on the 8th day and my colls said i doesn't look scary as they thought (they all knows im going for the surgery) thou there is still swelling.
Yes, the scar can be hidden under foundation but I didn't put on any powder or foundation around my eyes, only the mascara.
Actually my epi scar is not only red (as you can see from my pic) it is also raised. My friend recovered totally in abt 3 weeks, I think I will take longer bec I am a smoker.

Does anyone knows which doctor or clinics I can go for removal of stitches?
I will be going to Dr. Chi in 2 weeks to do epi and lateral, Dr. Chi said stiches can only be removed after 5 days but I will be back in sg by then..
Feeling a little nervous ..
Appreciate anyone can share some info please?

Thanks in advance!
Actually you can tell Dr. Chi beforehand that u are going back to sg to remove stitch so he can use another stitching method to sew it back that will be easy for u to remove after 5 days.

For me I actually remove the stitches myself..:X
Very easy to take it out...its just 2 knots.. from the start of ur eyelid to the end thats it..
Next: Rhinoplasty + Tip-Plasty
Done: Blepharoplasty + Epicanthoplasty Surgery @Dr Chirayut 7 June 2011

for people who did BA with dr nara, did you get the size you wanted?
any un-even occurrences? how long would it take for the breasts to feel normal? do you have to massage it everyday?

Hi noranau, a friend and I just returned from Hatyai. We had our surgeries done at Dr Chi's clinic. Both of us had buccal fat removal done, and I had liposuction done at several areas.
Buccal fat removal is a relatively simple process as you may have already read through research online. Dr Chi is a nice and patient man, and like another forumer mentioned above, he does not pressure you into doing any procedure at all and patiently answers any questions and doubts you might have as accurately as he can. Having never done any form of surgery before, we both felt very at ease when he did not attempt to paint the prettiest picture despite our concerns, but set the realistic expectations with us instead.
Knowing that we had only 3 days in Hat Yai, he scheduled our ops as priority so we could have ample rest prior to the flight back. We had the surgery done on Wednesday night right after the consultation itself, and the next morning.
We were put under LA and sedation. The surgery took an hour to complete and was painless (was asleep before being given the LA).
The one thing that did appall us was that right before the surgery, we were told to wash our own face (with shokubutsu kiwi facial foam) and rinse our mouths (with listerine) provided in the clinic. I guess we kinda expected something that feels more 'clinical' and 'op worthy' instead of these over-the-counter products? I was also not very pleased with one of the nurses as she wasnt very professional and skilled when trying to insert the IV catheter as she couldn't find my vein and caused bad bruises on both my wrists.

Anyway, our worries were uncalled for. Dr Chi applied antiseptic lotion all over our faces prior to the op and was very professional, gentle and caring throughout. Before you know it you'll be done with the op. If you don't have a friend with you to take you back to your hotel, a nurse will escort you back.

The day we were scheduled to leave we popped by the clinic again to have the nurse look in on our wounds just to confirm we're healing ok. They were more than happy to entertain us.

All in all we were very pleased with the service and care provided given than it is a fuss-free basic clinic in Hat Yai. At that cost there was nothing more we could ask for. If you are searching for a surgeon in Hat Yai I would strongly recommend Dr Chi.
It is now 4 days post-op and we are healing very well. Swelling and pain has subsided to a bare minimum and we're starting to have a glimpse of the outline of what the possible results could be. Very excited and looking forward to the 2-week mark to see the final results of the surgery.

Hope the above info is helpful :)

Dear All,

I am in Hatyai now. Today is day 2 from my Epi, Lateral, removal of eyebag and buccal fat removal post surgery. I visited Dr. Chi on Sat and I must say he is a very detailed doctor.

My eyes currently now are really red and slightly bruised. I told Dr. Chi to minimise the number of sitiches due to my tight schduele and he did internal incision for my eye bags so there are some internal discharge on my left eye. Vision is also slighty blurred so please pardon me if there are some typo errors.

For the epi and lateral, its seems to heal well with no raised scars, and looks like some red sratches.

The most painful thing is the buccal fat removal. oh man, my cheeks is so swollen that I look like chipmunk. Guess maybe I wore braces and it rubs against the wound inside. My cheeks..It hurts!!!

I will post some photo when i get better :)
Dr. Chi's clinic is really clean and his nurses were kind and helpful.
Dr. Chi was patient and detailed. Before i was put to sleep, he spent almost an hour just to 'draw and outline' where he will cut my eyes for the epi and lateral. The whole surgery took about 5 hours, its really long compared to my previous experience with Dr. Pat.

I woke up in the middle of the operation to see him still doing my eyes, i didnt feel any pain, just that i smell burnt flesh from the laser cutting and it freaked me out totlly.

And i remembered kicking & screaming..So embarassing, then i think he injected another dosage of LA to put me to sleep again. Thank God, I was tied up if not i cant imagine what will happened.

I will be heading back to Singapore tomorrow, pray that everything is gonna be fine.

I am really grateful to HappyCamper for his valuable sharing, wish you are here though!! I spoke to Dr. Chi about you and he send his regards to you :)

Take care, everyone and see you guys around!!

Hi, sorry for the late reply.
I was AAA cup and wanted a C cup but changed my mind when I was in the clinic as I am afraid that changes will be too drastic and people can see it. I then request for a Full B but after some measurement, Dr Chi said 270cc (smaller then full B) will be well accepted by my body (I think it is about how our body can manage the pain, will it be too heavy, too pain..etc). He mentioned something abt my breast tissue but he said I can still opt for bigger which I didn't and took his advise.
I went for consultant in his clinic in the day and went for surgery in the night in a hospital. The hospital is quite run down but the staff is very friendly.
I was in a Private room and there is an extra for my hubby. The Dr actually said I will NEED someone to take care of me. The incision is below the breast. I slept thru out the night and was discharge after DR Chi's visited me the next day abt 1pm. The pain was bearable, in fact, there is no pain, only tightness and soreness.
I implant 'less then full B' hence the fullness of my new breast didn't freak me out like most people commented in the webs.
I stayed in HatYai for 1 week. Dr Chi advised me to massage it 3 times a day abt 15mins on each breast which I did. He advised NO support bra. I continuing taking my pills (antibiotic, painkillers <thou I don't feel any pain>). I feel numbness on both breast (totally cant feel anything). I finished my 7 days antibiotic course and stopped my painkiller in 3 days. I was actually able to go shopping on the 2nd day itself. The 'pain' is more like 'bruises pain' but there is no bruises at all.
I came back to work on the 8th day without bra, only nipple sticker and no one asked me about it so far. My left breast started to regain their sense in about 1 week thou a small bottom part is still numb. My right breast is still numb till date (5th week post ops). Both scar has flatten but still very visible but it is not a concern to me since the only one seeing it is my husband.
I hope I have not left out anything.... :D
