Im going to remove my implants from my nose as the bridge Dr chi gave me is way too high no curve at all.although the swelling might haf made it worse bt e implant can be felt right bwt the eyes.the eyes swelling r almost gone cept for the inner part of e eye but my right eye is kinda weird looking n a few of my frens who didnt knw i went for PS commented tt my eyes is very fake looking..sigh..

left eye is fine,im thinking coz dr chi said my left eye was 10mm to start wif but aft op will be more defined..my right lashline is pulled up in the middle area.tot it was becoz of e epi or rhino i did but i went to 3 PS in sin n they told me e same ting.Dr chi stitched it under the muscles which is e norm but the cutting of e lids is an old fashioned style.high n deep.so besides the lashline,my dbl eyelid line now has like a 90degrees angled at e inner corner of eyes.cant do much now.n since i cant fully open my eyes as big as i used to coz of e stitch under my muscles, docs rec me to do eye excercise n c how it goes..

they r actually not too bad if coupled wif heavy makeup wif eyes open but cant cover up my nose..

i guess no matter hw much research u do and how sucessful e doc might be.there is always the chance of failure jus like infection.low possibilty but possible so its always to be prepared and plan ahead.i took too much time off work3 n half weeks to b exact.gota wait sum time b4 i can try to tk time off work for my implants removal..

I'm heading over to Hat Yai this 13th to remove my buccal fat pad with Dr. Chi.

Will be heading there with my sister too - she's doing rhino, alar, epi, chin implant all at 1 go o.o

Any reviews on buccal fat pad removal? I've no friends who did that before so I'm not really sure what to expect or if there will be big changes to my cheeks.

It depends on how large the fat pad is. It can only be ascertained once you're under operation I believe. Sometimes it's small and your face will still be chubby afterwards, and sometimes it's really big and taking it out can give you a gaunt appearance. I'm not sure if they do "partial" buccal fat removal but I have heard that you have to take none or the whole thing out. I have heard though that sucking in your cheeks can give you a ball park estimation of what to expect.

I'm not sure if Dr. Chi does buccal fat removal but I have heard that it's a very straight forward cook book procedure.

hmmm, it's still worrying that a lot of ppl have not read up on the post-op healing process....

10 days for major swelling to go away, 3 mths for most micro swelling to disappear, and 6 mths for most shapes to be roughly finalised... more pineapples to deswell, papayas to fight infection, preferably started on a course of sinnech prior to op

Hey beautyqueen, guess you are right.
No matter how successful the doc might be, there will be failure cases, like ours.

I'm not sure even if Dr Chi has performed any brow bone implant surgery before and he just take my case. I did not ask him about that before the surgery and won't be asking him now..
All my surgery procedure with him is a total failure, and I mean all.
Brow bone implant, lip reduction, alar and rhinoplasty.

Hey ning, do ask dr chi beforehand if he is experienced or not with the procedures you are going to do with him.
And for your sister, I strongly advice her to do one surgery at a time instead of bombarding everything into one procedure as she wouldn't know which procedure is the one causing unpleasant in her aesthetic side!

Saying this because I'm one unfortunate guy who experienced this and it is really painful, both physically and emotionally.
Life is a misery.

yeah many ppl's faded after a while... i asked nara to do on top of my faint ones, so it's slightly more obvious, but definitely not worth going thru the pain for it...

very hard to hide some more cos it's too deep holes even if u dun smile for the first couple of weeks

i did it with tokai, it's pretty straightforward, the make a cut, squeeze out the fat pad and stitch u back... results-wise, i cannot ascertain how great an effect it is, cos i did it with jaw implants, so my whole face shape was affected

Be very careful with squeezing out blemishes on your nose after rhino!
I got a gf who had thought she had a blemish on her nose and went to NYSS for a 10 course facial package.
The blemish got worse in the end and it turn out that her silicon was having an infection, it wasn't a blemish afterall.. but due to all the facials she went, her silicon protruded out. And for god knows what reason.. she got it remove at a GP from that hole on her nose instead of a professional. It wasn't from the nostril where the PS doctors inserted it.

Now? she have a hole in the middle of her nose for her life.

Therefore, Becareful!! >.<

OMG. i did my nose implant around half a year ago. and I am doing facial regularly to get rid of blackheads on my nose as my nose is extremely prone to blackheads! :( luckily my nose is still okay now! i shall tell my beautician to be extra careful when extracting! thanks for the info!

Aadvark, I'm surprised you had a lot of pain. I did it with Dr. Prinya and honestly, I didn't feel a thing. In fact, the local injections, which are usually HORRIBLE, was barely a prick with the dimple surgery. Easiest surgery I had done by far.

Hi, I'm confused. I thought in another post you said that Dr. Chi was too conservative and you were disheartened because he didn't want to give you a bigger change, which is what you requested?
