Hey yumiko, I'm from Singapore and will be going to dr chi for surgery around 6th~8th April too.
I'm a male btw,

Day 4 of rhino/dbl eye/epi
doc : Dr chi
my face still looks as swollen as day 1..sigh..
only one of Dr chi's nurse can understand english well..
wanted the korean 1cm eyelid.but when he measured for me,my left eye is 1 cm n right falls slightly short..so i wanted slightly more than 1cm..1.1cm i oso happy =X but dr chi says not nice on asian face =,=
after reading e forum,tot Dr chi wasnt as conservative as Dr nara but seems like he is =(
he only do very slight diff for the bridge of my nose as he says i have a weak forehead and it wouldnt look nice..=((
only choice,i walk away with wat i have or do the surgery wif only minimal diff..i took the later..
regret it..
duno if its the swelling and bruising talking but thats the feeling i have right now..
theres a small blood vessel that burst near my right eye so my eye white is now red =(
taking out the plaster for Day5 hopefully it can get better!!!
dr chi mention that swelling and bruising shld more or less go down in a week..hopefully..fingers crossed**
will update again soon!
btw for those who are coming over soon,please try not to pick new season...

Dr Putt doesn't do tipoplasty, no doctors in Hatyai does it from what I know.
Tipoplasty involves more skills and is relatively more difficult to execute plus the low cost of surgery in Hatyai probably doesn't justify it.
What Dr Putt does is to fashion the silicone implant to be higher at the tip which pushes up the tip and pull the sides of the nose closer.
But there is a vey high chance of extrusion for this...since the sharp tip will poke through the skin more easily especially if you have thin skin.

So you going by plane or by bus?
I have to take plane from Singapore. otherwise I have to take bus 15 hours from Singapore. provided come back by plane la.. Then take bus is meet you half way in Malaysia..

anyway .. this is my first op so i guess im proli quite paroniod @,@
firstly aft consultation,u will follow the nurse to trim off all ur nose hair.wah ur nostrils n cleanse ur face
then go upstairs to the op theatre
do not expect op theatre to look lik Singapore's op theatre ok.
they will then strap ur legs/thighs/hangs n shoulders to e chair.(heard frm others its jus in case u touch ur body in ur groggy state)
injecting of sedation and LA
u will be rqred to be awake for eyelid surgery coz they nid u to open n close ur eyes at times but u wun remember it(quote:Dr chi)

i said my head hurts..n they were still tokkin in thai..
then i shifted my head..hopefuly i dun suffer sum kinda zig/zagged eyelid frm that!@,@ then i told him i can feel him cuttin my eye n it hurts n i ask for more sedative n i cant rem wat happen aft that..
