I just confirm my appt with Dr Chi for Rhinoplasty & maybe Alar, could someone please tell me which hotel is the nearest to his clinic.

Thanks in advance.
Hotel closest is Wangnoy hotel, walk is less than 1 minute. I am currently staying here right now. The room is air conditioned, very clean, fridge. Only con is there is construction and sometimes it gets very noisy during the day fmor hammers and nails. Cost is 600 Baht per night.

Another hotel is down the road about 5 minute walk for 400 baht I think, air conditioned, and 290 baht for fan only. It looks pretty ghetto and rusty but I think its fine if you want to save money. No fridge either.
Tks for the infor, anyway izit Wangnoi or Wangnoy? coz I can't seems to find any hotel name Wangnoy...

Hi,

sorry, just a quick question. I understand you are just post surgery.

What type of chin implant did you get from Dr. Putt? is it the wing type?

Happy Camper,

How was ur surgery?
I just came back to Singapore today and today is the 11th day after my surgery.
I am still a bit swollen but Dr. Pat from tokai clinic did quite a good job in my eyes, chin and nose.

Hope to hear good news from you too :)
Speedy recovery!

Hey everyone, I only did a button chin implant with Dr. Putt yesterday afternoon for 8K. Swelling is really bad right now so I can't tell a thing as to whether or not the result is good. I just got back from a consultation with Dr. Chi. Unfortunately, I only have a lateral canthoplasty scheduled with him for 8K baht.

I originally wanted to get cheek, tear trough and forehead implants with him but the problem is....the PRICE! The type of cheek implants that I want require general anesthesia, and man oh man, the general anesthesia really bumps up the prices SIGNIFICANTLY. The price for cheeks under general anesthesia is way out of my grasp. Tomorrow when I get my lateral cantho down, I am going to beg him to see if he will do my cheek implants under local anesthesia because honestly, I cannot afford general anesthesia. I'll tell him that I will fight through the pain, I don't even care. I mean aadvark did his jaw implants under local so I don't see why I can't do malar implants under local too and I really want to go home with some new cheeks.

With forehead implant, at least the one II want, theres no way I can do it under local. The one I want is going to be big and thick and he has to split open my whole head for that one.

BTW, I asked him about Anna and he told me she stopped corresponding with him as well so she doesn't know what happened with her case. Also, he told me that she was in great pain because she did it under local anesthesia. Her forehead implant was small enough so that she could do it under local unlike mine. He said if I did mine under general anesthesia then I would be in the hospital for two days with severe painkillers so I would not have to suffer as much as her. However, the forehead implant for me is a no can do anyways because I don't have enough money for it. I must save for it in another trip.

Also, my chin implant hurt like a b*tch last night after the local anesthesia wore off. I lost my pain killers that Dr. Putt gave me so I had to go through the night without a single pain killer. It was throbbing and aching and hot but today it is okay, slightly sore but NOTHING compared to last night. It felt like I had a colony of fire ants in my chin last night. Even though I don't know how the result will look, I will say that I like Dr. Putt and his demeanor. He advised against a chin implant, telling me that I don't need one but I insisted. He was courteous and answered all my questions about where I can eat, and showed me where best exchange rates were and wrote me translations.

The 18K he quoted for me over the phone was only if the cheeks would be done under local. I will BEG him tomorrow to see if he can do my cheeks under local. I can't afford general anesthesia. I'll be damned if I traveled all this way only to go home with a freaking lateral cantho and a button chin when I originally wanted a whole new face!

For the reference, I also think Dr. Chi is great. His English is well enough and he seemed EXTREMELY informed and honest, as well as very patient. Our conversation was extremely long and he remembered a lot of what I stated. He seems extremely competent, but I am just hoping that he will be able to do my cheeks under local, because if not, then I may seek out Dr. Pat because Dr. Pat seems like the type that would give you a HEAD transplant under local and I just can't afford to pay for anything but local at this point.

OK.... hang in there my friend...! if you need pain killers, load up on Arcoxia (etoricoxib) tablets there from any pharmacy.... in Singapore, the PS surgeons prescribe this very same pill for pain after a procedure.... so go get it.. it's not that expensive.... and it works really well....

hahaha... yes, Dr. Pat is fearless.... and good! His confidence in his skills is his trademark.... he gives really short consults and says he knows and understands our expectations so quickly and the end result is good....

OK... rest well.

You can get the stitches removed from any general practicing doctor. All doctors are trained in this aspect :)
Can go to a better GP like Raffles chain of clinics, their doctors are quite good but slighty more ex.

Babe, which area did u do?

I just did lateral cantho and damn it hurts like hell. I was expecting a recovery simlar to medical epicantho, which to me was NOTHING, but I'm in pain right now. My eyes are so sweollen then I can barely open my eyes. I imagine when my local anesthesia wears of te pain will even be WORSE. My vision is blurry and I can barely see the words I'm typing right now. If i Open my beady eyes up up anymore then it hurts. I'm tearing right now(not because of the pain) but because my eyes are riritated and the tears coming down are red, a mixture of blood and tears I'm sure, lol.
