Can I check, what is the procedure I should proceed for my nose?
Alarplasty or rhinoplasty? The sides of my nose are kindly droppy and a little wide when I smile.

I'm also thinking of doing chin implant together with nose job. But there aren't many reviews about chin implant here. Besides that, I read quite a few reviews on botched chin implants on the internet (www.realself.com).

I personally feel that the complications of chin implant are rather high. Not very sure what type of implant Dr Nara uses either. Read a few pages back in the forum that he uses the button type implant. Might go for a consultation, then make a decision.

Just came back from Thailand, went to do double eyelids and rhinoplasty 5 days ago at Dr Nara's. I went to Raffles Medical to take out my stitches cos everywhere else got no doctor, and it costs $124 just to take out stitches! The PS experience was quite horrifying for me cos during the surgery I was awake, and I kept bugging Dr Nara to give me more sedation to sleep but he refused. Towards the end of the surgery I started feeling nauseous and had a terrible headache. Dr Nara later told me that he can't give me more or I will feel much worse. I started twitching and sweating profusely during the second surgery, which is eyelid surgery. When everything was done, I started shaking all over and kinda freaked all the nurses out. They were all very nice and helpful though, made sure I was alright. Went back to rest at Lee Garden, felt better the next day and took a plane to Bangkok to shop for 4 days ^^ Swelling started going down after 3rd day. Bkk got serious lack of pineapple juice, I ended up buying a carton from an Indian restaurant at SGD$11 T_T Took sinnech and drank alot of pineapple juice and today is my sixth day, I think I look very normal as compared to the first day, swelling all gone down.

Still left rhino stitches to take out, I suspect it's gonna be damn painful......... Ugh. Now even when I touch the tip gently or bump into it, it hurts!

hellosunshine, did you take SinEcch with your operation? How is your nose now? Are you satisfied with the bridge and does it have a noticeable change?

Pretty please post pictures! Thank you very much! :D

Hi! Here are my before & after pictures...

Yup I took sinecch according to what was on the box - pre-op and post-op. The instructions on the box are very clear so I just followed :)

My nose now is abit tight, hurts if I bump into it or if my specs are worn for too long. Overall I'm very satisfied with the new nose, though I might do tiplasty in the future cos I think the nose from front still looks bulbous, but right now I think it's really natural and it suits my face. My brother commented that my face looks different (other than the double eyelids). Before the op my nose totally no bridge though the tip is high and huge, but now it's quite a noticeable bridge. I think the change will not be drastic, but your looks will improve overall :D

extrusion is only for L-shaped implant.

From my own and others' experiences, dr nara usually takes care not to over-extend the tip to prevent extrusion. Of coz, there will always be ppl who are not so lucky.

just want to say that nara's 'accident' rates are one of the lower ones from what I've seen from the rest of the forum, including taiwan and korea
Next: Forehead augmentation, botox, RF
