Till now, I still use waterproof bandages to cover my incisions wounds leh... but yesterday i emailed my surgeon, he said I should leave them open since it has past 3 weeks and the stitches also oredi dissolved. Haha... but I scared la...
Rekyo, your doc is definitely right. you should open up your wound to let it air, lasting it tight will moist it and it is not good for wounds.
Ya, I think I should open up tonight.
I delayed is becos of my "monthly affair" and I need to wear my CG outside my panty lor... and also, my 2 incisions were quite near my bikini line, below my lower tummy, and I scared the panty line will rub against the wounds. I will try to open and see how tonight.

Thanks macaronincheeze for your advice. :)

I went to my company doctor to remove the stitches. I was squirming and asking him to stop! So painful esp at the stomach. End of the day when I took out the plasters that he used on the wounds..... I found out there were unremoved stitches!! Had to DIY, luckily no need me to pay the bill. Can imagine to pay 30 stitches $$? Lol
Yewwww.. OMG.. Then I better look for a doctor that practice removing stitches better... So Scary man...
Maybe ask the doc to apply a cream that numb the area before removing the stiches.

When I was very young, I remembered that was what my dad asked the GP to apply on my leg when the GP removed 10 over stitches from my leg. :)

Gal I also looking for good GP to remove stitches leh. I stay north east.

Wow... U did BA arh? how? Pain anot?
For my nose is better now, the swell starts to subside already. But still the tip are not sharp enuf. Dimples still swollen abit and pain also can't bite hard food.
Hi.. BA itself is not painful, due to GA. But the moment I woke up is really hell, so much pressure n I couldn't even get up of bed.. Even with support, it is still quite bad. Tdy is day 2 post op, I am feeling so much better.. At least I am able to get up from bed on my own. My avatar-ish features are diminishing, prob with the help of Sineech+ pineapple juice. I even went out for some shopping this morning.. No one stared. Now sourcing around for an experienced & gentle gp to removes stitches. I know all GPs does it, but I need some feedbacks if possible.. Using my iPhone to type.. Kinda straining to my eyes n lots of typo errors. Hee

Hey everyone!

I have booked an appointment and paid a deposit to Dr. Nara for March 2011 next year. I am so excited about it! Am going to buy airtickets soon.

I keep running to the mirror to try to imagine how Ill look like after surgery. Hahaha.

I think I'll be staying there for 5 days. Can SinEcch be bought over the counter? Or does anyone has any SinEcch to sell?

my dear, you can't get sinecch in Singapore or neither in Thailand, you have to order it online, there are someone here that have the link to order, but im not sure who.

you can trace the thread in other pages.

I had taken sinecch and alot of pineapples. it helps alot really, but i think pineapple are very cold (in chinese) fruits so you might have gastric or bloated stomache after that, but just for awhile. it will be fine.

Chers!

Dr Nara says it is best to go and remove it by doctor.

My problem now is, my dimiple one side is infected, inside still got 1 stitch
i talk to Nara over phone just now, he says have to remove the stitch, but now i see pus only but no stitch.

I suppose to have apt with Dr Martin Huang tmw to remove stitch, but I doubt he will know how to remove if the sitich already go inside my fresh.

If he knows, he also will need to perform some kind of surgery on me, and that will cost a bomb to me.

I should go back to doctor Nara, but I don't dare to stay there alone wor. how ar? I scare now.

sob sob sob...

Hi.. today is my 5th day post op..so I’ll like to share a little about my PS experience. Did BA, rhino & alar on the same day. Scheduled appt @11am, but did the surgery after about an hour of waiting. There are patients earlier than me, but I went in first. By the time I finish around 2+, they are still there waiting, prob cos they don’t have any appointment or whatever reasons.

Rhino + Alar- Dr Nara made some marking on my nose and carved the implant next to me. Was sedated and glad that I didn’t wake up halfway. No pain at all. Alar was a little painful after the op, can feel a bit of stinging pain after the op, when the LA dies off.

BA- After my nose job, I hopped onto a tuk tuk to the hospital. It was a government public (free) hospital. Checked in into the private ward. Room was ok, but the entire hospital building was rather run down. Very 80s type of public healthcare setting. Told to bathe and get dressed in their hospital gown. About 5.30pm, the nurse put on a drip on me and push me to the OT. Nara arrived not long after. A while later, the anaesthesiologist came and I concussed after they put the gas mask on me. Woke up in pain, my entire upper body from chest, ribcage to tummy was sore and experiencing alot of pressure. Couldn’t move my body at all, and the hospital bed made the pain worse. Was drifting in & out of sleep the entire nite. Super uncomfortable. I personally think that this is much worse than childbirth, which I had twice without any form of pain relief at all. Thought I always had a high threshold of pain, but the after BA effects is real bad. Given a choice, I rather choose childbirth.. LOL. Morning came, no appetite for the breakfast @all. The nurse came in to clean me, and I was most unwilling to get up. She support my back trying to get me up and the pain was quite bad, was moaning while trying my best to move up. Finally did it. Changing was difficult cos my arms were very sore. Not able to get up and pee, so used the bedpan a few times. Even shifting my body up to lie on the bedpan was such a difficult task. Didn’t ask for painkillers though. I have tabs given by the clinic but I somehow forgotten about them. Remembered Nara mentioned that if the pain is unbearable, I can request for painkiller jab. I didn’t. He also say that 95% of his patients don’t need that. Wow.! Also,GA didn’t really have any negative effects on me (luckily). No vomiting or anything serious.

My face, by then swell like nobody’s business. I look really scary. Face was so bloated up till my eye area. Only half of my eyes are visible. I looked like a battered victim. I tried to avoid the mirror cos it was so freaking depressing.

Day 1 post op- Discharge from hospital around noon, after Nara came to checked on me. Dunno if I am considered lucky or what, the hospital had a power trip around noon. No fans/ aircon or lights. So after discharge, I walked down the dark staircase 4 levels down to the exit. Wonder if the affects the OT ?? What happens if it happens the night before when I was having op, what would happen ?? OMG. Cant imagine. Anyway, took a tuk tuk back to my hotel (5 min ride I think) and I KO all the way till evening. Must be the effect of GA still running inside my body. Was still in pain but still bearable. At least by pulling the bedsheets and help of my fren, I can slowly get out of bed. My face look like the movie character Avatar , so weird and alien-like.

Day 2 post op- I was recovering very well. I believe it is due to sufficient rest, Sineech and regular medication. Didn’t need the painkiller tabs. Also, drank lots of fluid and down 1 litre of pineapple juice daily, even before I had the op. Able to move around freely and I even went out to have lunch. No weird stares. My face is so much better now, though still look quite avatar-ish. Went shopping and bought quite alot of items. Had dinner outside as well. My daily diet after the op is strictly on fish soup with rice/ noodles or pork/ meat balls. No seafood, chicken or eggs. Washed my hair at the salon before I went back to hotel.

Day 3 post op- Ate breakfast @ hotel. Usual- plain porridge with fish slices. Not much of an appetite actually. Swelling went down quite a bit. Left with yellow tinge around my eye areas. Made my dark eye rings very obvious. (-_-)’ Did some last minute shopping before going to airport for my flight home. Recovery for BA by then was good. I managed my own luggage when I touched down in SG. I can lug my over 12kg luggage in & out of the cab + handcarry my beers and bottles of alcohol from DFS all by myself. Hehe..

Day 4 -5 post op- Nothing much. Still waiting for the yellowish tinge on my face to go away. Boobs soften quite abit now. No problems getting in & out of bed. In fact, I can even tied my hair into a high ponytail and lift my arms up in the air. Changing is also ok, I am able to pull over my t-shirts w/o any probs. Still taking my antibiotics religiously. Gonna remove my stitches on coming tue. Actually, I am suppose to remove BA stitches on my armpits today. But today is Sunday, guess many clinics operate ½ day and I got to bbsit my kids so no way I can do it. Intend to do everything on tue. Keeping my fingers crossed that all will be fine and PAINLESS.

wow, that was so cool.. i didn't know how to write about the whole session but my alar and rhino was same as yours.

Just that when Nara is doing my dimples, I am totally awaken already. He jab me LA and starts to cut my inner cheek's muscle till the end of my skin then something poke thru and some sewing feeling going on, and then follow by the right side.

But too bad, my right side now is having infection, so no dimple on right side, only left side have.

I am suppose to go back to Nara, but there are nobody company me staying in the hotel. So I decided to go to Dr Martin, but at the same times. I also flickle minded now whether to go back to Nara or go to Dr Martin in Singapore which is super expensive.

HAIZ.. HELP!!!
