Anyway I am back from Hatyai.
Just wanna share my experience here...

Day 1 was arms, everything seemed ok for this just that right incision leakage is alot. Pain factor 7/10, 1.5 litres

Day2 was love handles, I sobbed after the sedation was gone and I have no idea why I cried too.. Probably my body was used to the sedation and it was really painful for me. Pain factor 10/10, 1.5 litres

Day3 was stomach, I had 30mins chat before the surgery and I won't agree that Dr Nara is a man of few words actually. Anyway, Dr Nara gave me double sedation which caused vomitting the following day. This is the worst day of my life because I cannot bend, sit, walk properly. Pain factor 10/10, 1litre

Today is day 5 of my post op and everywhere is soring. I gained 1.5kg of weight and I guessed they are all water.......

Hi elyss0n,

Nice seeing you there too, tot my alar is going to take 5 mins but actually took 45 mins to finish so you were gone when i came out. No chance to chat wif you..

Agree that Nara is friendly and not stern as described by some, he chatted wif me about the recent flood while the nurses prep me for surgery on the table, then he took out a measuring tape and measured the wall shelf. I think its kinda funny a plastic surgeon about to do a surgery measuring a shelving while waiting.. lol

I gain about 2 kgs too, still quite sore esp my thighs and bruises are still there. Hopefully it will all go down soon :D

Good Luck to all of us!

hi, elyss0n

don't worry about the weight, but MOST IMPORTANT IS wear your compression garment correctly and daily... without fail.

Hi elyss0n
U may wan to buy over moochi's arm garment if ur size needs XL during swollen time cos that Rainey brand quite comfortable... The material like swimming costume.
As for the other areas, u may want to try wearing a thin layer of lycra material garment (e.g. HangTen or Bossini tank-top material) underneath ur compression garment..

hmmmm, death from jawbone-shaving from Asia 1:

Aspiring singer dies during plastic surgery

A former contestant of China's Super Girl singing contest, the equivalent of American idol, died last week after a cosmetic procedure to narrow her jawbone.

2005 Super Girls contestant Wang Bei died while undergoing plastic surgery, in Wuhan, Hubei province, according to Tianfu Morning News.

The singer and sometime model, 24, was having a facial "bone-shaving" operation, when the doctor was thought to have made a mistake, causing blood to flow into her lungs. Wang died of suffocation.

Xinhua news agency reported that an "anaesthetic accident" had occurred during the procedure at the Zhong'ao Cosmetic Surgery Hospital.

The doctor is said to have secretly transferred her to Wuhan No 161 Hospital, but it was too late to save her life.

According to media reports, Wang Bei, 24, underwent the procedure with her mother in Wuhan. Her mother was only told of her death a day later.

China's Ministry of Health is investigating the incident.

Wang appeared in the same Super Girls competition that made a star of Li Yuchun, but after failing to win returned to her studies at Wuhan Conservatory of Music.

After graduating she became a pub singer in Qingdao, Shandong province, and occasionally performed a couple of songs at gala shows.

According to reports, she tried her luck at other competitions but the results were disappointing. This led Wang to believe that she needed to look more beautiful to enter the entertainment industry.

Fellow Super Girls competitor Wen Yao said she was surprised that Wang felt she needed to go under the knife, as she was naturally so pretty.

Web users have also expressed concern and questioned why a pretty girl such as Wang would feel the need for plastic surgery.

The plastic surgeons in Hatyai don't administer general anesthesia for nose surgery.

Liposuction Surgery Recovery

Pain Level: Varies depending on procedure (ranges from mild to severe); 3-14 days of pain medication
Swelling: 2 weeks-2 months or more
Bruising: 2 days-2 weeks
Numbness: lasts several weeks
Bandages: Changed in 1-2 days (drains and sutures removed first 5-10 days)
Work: Return after 1-3 weeks
Exercise: Wait 2-4 weeks
Final result: Seen after 1-6 months

For faster recovery:
Drink adequate amounts of liquids to prevent dehydration
Avoid alcoholic beverages for 48 hours before and after surgery
Wear compression garments as suggested to prevent slow healing and excessive drainage
Do NOT apply ice-packs or a heating pad to skin overlying the liposuctioned areas
Do NOT apply hydrogen peroxide or plastic Band-Aids to incision sites
Do NOT soak in a bath, Jacuzzi, swimming pool, or the ocean for at least 7 days after surgery in order to minimize the risk of infection
Reduce your risk of fainting at home by: standing up slowly after urinating, remove compression garments slowly, have assistance for your first shower, sit down if you feel dizzy or lightheaded
Recovery from liposuction can be uncomfortable, but most people are back to work within 10 days. During the first few weeks most people experience varying degrees of pain, burning, swelling and temporary numbness. Pain medications can alleviate discomfort (usually taken for 2 days - 2 weeks) and a body-compression garment will minimize swelling. You will need to refrain from any exercise other than walking for about a week after the procedure. Slowly work your way back to your old exercise routine.

Consider a massage therapist for lymphatic drainage massage to relieve swelling and possible itching (discuss this with your doctor).

Although the new shape of your body usually begins to emerge in the first few weeks, some swelling may remain for several months. Major weight gain or loss after liposuction can produce skin surface irregularities. The final result may not be clear until 6 months after surgery.

Many people assume that because liposuction permanently removes fat cells, it's impossible to regain weight in the treated areas. This is only partially true. Adults have a fixed number of fat cells, and liposuction removes some of these cells permanently. The remaining fat cells can grow bigger, especially if you do not exercise and maintain a healthy diet. This means problem spots can return. However, weight gain after liposuction will usually be distributed to other parts of your body instead of settling back into the old problem areas.
