Hi all, I just did my dbl eyelid+epi, rhino+alar with Dr Chi during the Hari Raya weekend. I originally booked my appt with Dr Nara but it was in dec and I thought that is too long to wait and i want to look natural for the CNY.

I stayed in Golden Crown hotel which is less than 5 mins walk to his Clinic, cos due to the holiday most of the hotels are fully booked, so I had no choice. Rate is cheap 780bhat for 1 dbl rm with free internet access, but the staff mostly speak malay and little english and only 1 or 2 at the reception can speak decent english. Cab from airport is 280baht. lee garden plaza or novotel is 10mins away from my hotel.

His clinic opening hours is mon-fri 5pm-8pm, sat 9am-2pm, sun 9am-12am (hatyai time). It is just opposite a temple, easily identified with Phi Beauty signboard. I had an hour consultation before proceeding to my surgery. He asked me whether I had pictures of my desired nose and eyes, if not can search on the internet on his mac to show him. cool!
After that he will advise what is achievable and not, he also showed me some of his works. He is a nice doctor indeed, very patient and listens.
He said that after surgery, if I feel any discomfort can call him at his mobile.

The surgery took 4 hrs, but initially he said 3 hrs, so my bf had to wait additional 1 hr. They strapped me to the chair similar to the dentist chair and injected me with sedative. After that I drifted to sleep, when I regain partial consciousness, I felt that he was stitching my eyelids, no pain at all. When everything was done, they woke me up and I felt drowsy, his nurses led me downstairs and handed me over to my bf. I was given 3 diff types of medication. painkiller, anti-swelling, antibiotics, cream to apply and ziplock bags for ice. He told me to put on ice pack for first 72 hours and after that warm pack is optional.

I strongly suggest that you bring someone to go with you to take care of you.Cos the next morning, when I woke up, I have little recollection of what happen after I left the clinic and it's quite dangerous when you need to cross the roads. My bf told me that I was well behaved and went to sleep immediately when I got to the room. He helped me change my ice pack consistently and he insisted that I put my ice pack even though sometimes I complained it was too cold. It helped a lot for my swelling and oh yes I took Sineech from Rachael too. (She is a very nice person,helpful, explains the application of product very well).

I was able to go to lee garden plaza for some shopping the next day although dr chi strongly discourage. He says that walking leads to blood circulation which leads to more swelling. but I felt bored after sleeping for so long.

Today is post op day 5, I am healing well and most pain is gone. Post op day 4 to remove surgical tapes and post op day 6 or 7 to remove stitch. I still have swelling and some yellowish bruises on my cheeks and eyelids, but I can see that my nose and is going to be nice shape. I hope they turn out even nicer after swelling. *fingers crossed*

Erm..I didn't ask him what implant. I just asked what is he going to do for my nose and what are my expectations. Pics I haven't re-arrange yet and I didn't take everyday. u can pm me and I'll email u once i sort out the pics.

at first i actually book a slot with dr chi for my double eyelid.. during the email i send him my pics but he did not say anything only say he can do it for me.
but the final straw that changed my mind is that when i emailed him to confirm my appt slot he give me the wrong date and ask me to bring compression garment.. i was like WTH???? si i ask him why i need a compression garment for when im doing dlb eyelid. and he email back saying that he mistaken my for another patient.... that totally turn me off and doubtful of his professionlism. so i in the end when to dr nara.

just to warn u guys gg there to be cautious and make sure to double confirm with him when booking your date with him.

Do u mind showing me pictures of your nose? Before and after?. I woul appreciate it. I saw jaslinegal's rhino and alar done by dr chi as she sent me pics... It's nice but my heart is still with Nara.... I'm considering between chi and Nara. So if u could, pls send me pics for me to decide better.
Also, I thought we are not supposed to let water touch our nose after surgery? And alsooooo, I thought it's not good to take vitamin c after surgery... I read somewhere before

I got a question to ask.... Does anyone know if dr Nara uses I shape implant besides just L shape implant? Cause all I need is work to be done on upper part of bridge. I don't need changes to my tip area and middle of nose
