Hi Aadvark,

I hate my weird look after the nose implant. The swollen between the eyebrown don seemed to go down and the stretch of the eyes towards the nose bridge makes my eyes look weird too.. Will they be gone?
how long has it been post op?
Today is the 15days of post op.. Still the same.. especially the stretch of the eyes towards the nose bridge..:(
first 2 weeks only, will keep reducing...
the reduction can go on till 6 mth mark, some reduce beyond the 6th mth, depends on the individual's body, healing rate etc.

yes, u will look like a transvestite at the start, i encountered that too :P

I am 2 weeks post op for my rhino n chin with Nara. The chin is fine however yesterday my nose start to itch and there's this tingling feeling which is irritating me. It itch around the nose tip n within the nostril.

There was some redness which I'm not sure if it was cause by my scratching but has seem to fade off already. Now is only the itch. I tried calling Nara clinic n the nurse said if no pus n swelling it shd b fine.

Is this normal at all? Nose is getting really tight since yesterday and itchy.
Pls advise :(
pimple? if infection, shld be swollen and pus forming...
i noticed during the first 6 mths, if u dun rest enuff, dun eat right etc, being 'heaty', your implant areas tend to become puffy and reddish... anyone encountered that?

like not enuff sleep will be puffy, but the implant areas even more exaggerated
Hi aadvark,

it doesnt seem to be a pimple. just redness around the nose tip.
i have just consulted a local ps doc.. seems like its some kinda inflammatory/infection thou there was no pus. there was slight swelling at the tip as well.

it could lead to extrusion. gotta keep monitoring my nose now if the redness gets worst then gotta do something about it. sigh, very sad.

do you think redness is normal? as n do others encounter redness as well for rhino?
hmmm, i wld however take what the local docs say with a pinch of salt.
Some forumers suffered infection when they got back, and every time the local doc will tell them have to remove, might lead to extrusion etc.

Let's just say it's a common auto-response for local docs every time they hear the word "thailand". A few forumers took another course of antibiotics and are still happy with their implants today.

Aadvark, your rhino is done by which doctor and do you mind to share your pics before and after?

I had a red pimple at the lateral part of my nose tip.

I was sooo concerned it was an extrusion. I have my implant for 2 years already.

Fortunately, the pimple is subsiding.. When I was touching it one day, pus came out.... and since then, its better and better. :D

AM SO RELIEVED!

My eyes are already botched up. Don't have money to re-do the nose!

Have been silently reading for some time... I'm reading backwards from pg 229 and I'm still halfway through... Haha. Read all about Dr Nara a year ago from this same forum :)

I'm going for rhinoplasty and double eyelid + epi at Dr Nara's in December... However I read that one has to do tip surgery first before doing implant, if not must pay more to take out implant, do tip, then put back implant.

I know I should finish reading all pages before posting questions, but I hope someone can enlighten me to this specific question... Has anyone done tip surgery (with a big bulbous nose, huge nostrils, and no bridge) and received good results? I have consulted Dr Heng KS thanks to aadvark's suggestion to one forumer who previously asked about tip surgery, Dr Heng quoted me RM5800 for entire nose surgery.

But personally I have taken a slight affection to Dr Nara after reading so much raving reviews of him, and would like most, if not all, of my surgeries to be performed by him :) Hence I wondering if there are any specific doctors who have given satisfactory results on tip plasty? Since Dr Nara does not perform it. I was hoping I can go to Dr Nara after my tip surgery to do alar + rhino after that...

He's from Nicanor!
I might have mistaken someone else's recommendation for yours...
But I remember you did recommend a doctor for tip surgery?
Mind sharing the doctor's name again? :)
hi guys,

after reading through all the pages in this forum. i made an appointment with Dr. Nara. did the surgery on the 7th June and now I am back! :)

today is the 5th day of my post-op and I am very very pleased with my results and recovery.

did breast augmentation (mammoplasty), nose implant (rhinoplasty) and upper eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) <- finally spelt that right at the first go.

for people who are considering which surgeon to go to, i highly recommend Dr. Nara.
but please note he is a high advocate for the outcome of result being natural. I didn't get to choose what I want - breast size, shape of nose, height of nose bridge.

i just trusted my face and boobs into his hands.

just want to thank everyone who had shared their reviews and experience here.

very excited to see the final results.

(remember, sinecch, vit c, loads of rest, fruits and water are utterly essential!!)
Hi, can u share the outcome for ur done nose job was done by nara ??coz i wan to do as well ...my email pinkbellezz@gmail.com hear frm u soon..sincerly n thks...

Hi Everyone!

This is my first time posting.
I'm interested in the following

Blepharoplas
Epicanthoplasty
Rhinoplasty
Alarplasty

Is it wise to do it all at once?
I have attached a pic of my eyes n my ideal eyes.
I m hoping I will b able to achieve my ideal eyes by doing Blepharoplas n Epicanthoplasty.
Any comments or advise is welcome

I'm planning to see Doctor Nara.
I have not email my picture to him yet.
