not only cheap. got personal touch some more. she/the nurse actually gently pull your mouth to shine the light to activate whitening. it's so comfy to lie down there that i dozed off in between.
in sg.. those that i saw actually uses a metal rack to pry open the mouth n stay in position through out. it looks soooooo uncomfortable.
My friend did once in BKK whom the dr used a metal rack to pry open the mouth, it is very uncomfortable. And she mentioned that the teeth is very sensitive after whitening for a while.

I finally decided to call nara and yes, i am heading to him.
i actually wanted to do only both my elephant thighs but amy told me about my abodment too, so total three parts.
I just hope things went smooth as i really miss wearing back my jeans..

My appointment will be in May,

I hope forumer who is going before me a soon recovery and safe trip throughout :)

All people here are really very brave to be able to go this far.
Try to trim down more fat before going for lipo cos dr nara doesn't really extract alot of fat. Most I think is about a litre per area ba. The dr who did the lipo for the CEO told me that legal limit is a litre but he can extract as much as 4 to 5 liter but he will not show me the fat due to legal issue.

I manage to lose 4kg within a month on Panbesy 15mg with some healthy diet and exercise .... need to cut down another 4kg to attain my ideal weight.

Dear guys,

I have just came back from liposuction at Dr. Arthur's in dec 2009 after I have made a trip to Hatyai to see Dr. Putt for my rhinoplasty just the week before.
If any of you have seen the recent case study, yes that is me. Yes I'm not embarrassed to claim that is me and no, I have not asking anyone to visit the website either, only to those who happen to see it. I have my huge thunder thighs to begin with and no matter how much effort I put into excercise, I have reached a plateu where my thighs would not go down any further. I have gone for Vaser in Singpore for as the Doctor has claimed in case studies, one on the arms, one on the abs, and two on the thighs where 2.5 litres in total have been removed for the thighs in two sessions.
I have NOT been to Hatyai for liposuction at all, and have never seen Dr. Nara before either. I know he is refering to Dr. Nara on the website because when I mentioned Dr. Puttisak, he seem to know who he was. And once I mentioned Dr. Nara, he went on skeptical raves about him, I felt it was very unprofessional, it felt like he was trying to shot Dr. Nara's reputation down or something. I just wanted to make note and highlight the fact to forumers who decide to go to Dr. Nara's for liposuction that Dr. Nara's skill in anyway, did NOT make my thighs look like that. Please do not be discouraged by my pictures. I am not sure if Dr. Arthur Tjandra is trying to promote himself, but I have emailed Jenny to ask him to at least take down the Hatyai comment so that it would not tarnish Dr. Nara's name. I know he disapproves Dr. Nara's ways for liposuction because he does one only one area per day and his ways of thinking on the surgical part.

Dr. Arthur has done a good job on me, (no I am not trying to promote him either) but he has helped me achieve smaller thighs which the surgeon in Singapore said that he will not remove anymore fat because what I have is muscles(?)

This is my true story, and yes I admit I might be pissed about the skeptisms placed on me on his website, but I have truely been excercising regularly, i have lost 6kgs over the months from my vaser even though I still look FAT. I have even bigger thighs to begin with before vaser in the first place anyway.

Overall, the experience at Arthur's was quite good, I liked it.

Anyway the main point from my story is to those who decide to go to Dr. Nara for liposuction not to be discouraged and be affected from my pictures if you were to see them. Those were from VASER in singapore and NOT Hatyai.

I apologise if it sounds skeptical entirely on my part but I don't believe in posting lies and discouraging others.

GABS bravo to you.

I just went to Dr Nara and enjoyed my experience there. So far still on recovering stage but I think I should be fine esp with support from several others here.

I went to do my lower abs and my fren did her arms and outter thighs. And I swear that her thighs do not look like those that I see on Dr Arthur's website that is disfigured. I am also upset that Dr Arthur is using underhand means to get clients....but again, it might not be him but his staffs that is updating the site. (Not siding him) But as for professionalism, I had emailed Dr Arthur about my thighs again 2 weeks ago and did a followup email and NONE was replied. So I guess that shows how professional he is....or again, it might be because his staff is choosing not to reply.

Anyway, each person can make their own decision. Each person has their own skill. =)

Hi icebaby0

Yes I do not undestand why Dr. Arthur is discouraging people from going to Dr. Nara. If I did not hear wrongly, I think it is Dr. arthur himself who puts the pictures and comments because the words sounds just like him exactly. When I asked him if he tries to promote or advertise himself, he said no as he said I can see that there are no staff in the clinic, except for Jenny and some nurses. I was disbelieving of his words but I didn't say anything. He said he will do an advertising on the Singapore papers perhaps in Febuary as he claimed. I must say I really didn't like it when he put Dr. Nara down so much during my stay there. I did tell him I was contemplating on Dr. Nara, perhaps that triggered his response.

During my stay there, the only person I saw was the doctor himself, Jenny, doctor's mother (who I say is a very nice lady) and another helper, because it was the holidays and nearing new year so he said that's why I didn't see any nurses around.

Just a side remembrance but Dr. Arthur is extremely skeptical to the fact that Dr. Nara does not take blood test. He said it was vital and said that girls who initally wanted to do liposuction with him were stupid since they decided to choose to go to Dr. Nara because Dr. Nara doesn't do blood test, not required to pay extra $100.

And Yes, everyone has his own skill and I don't feel I have any rights to judge what he or she does.

Exactly,
Can we advise him not to do that? Coz it's backfiring, we'll go to him for his results, why so kiasu, have to highlight his competitor's "failure" to promote himself.

One fact he cannot change is that he's a GP and Dr Nara's a certified plastic surgeon.

He really don't have to do that, his pics are convincing enough, why resort to this? so unprofessional. Granted, usually the doc will comment about his competitor verbally but to quote pic and do a write up is a bit too much.

seems so preposterous for a doc to openly badmouth another competitor in his website.

Why would he make such a mistake to think that you went to Hatyai, quote your photo & put it in his website somemore when its Vaser.

so ideally, for those who've been to Nara, it's best not to tell him much or i suspect he's going to start a collection of all the relevant cases, put your pics & classify them under Nara's failed results who have to go to him for revision.

How do we balance an ethical doctor & a result driven one? sigh.

I read from the strait times that it's best to have another person to supervise during lipo, so even though Dr arthur's results are good as he removes about 2L, he's alone whereas Dr Nara has his wife, also a doctor assisting him. There'll be another person to monitor the blood loss, electrolyte balance, blood pressure etc.

The disadvantage with Dr Nara is he's doing one part per day, amount drawn is limited and unlike Arthur who do 4 parts for arms including shoulders, back, armpit etc to create a smooth profile, i fear Dr Nara may not be willing to touch those parts if he thinks it's not fat, leaving the armpits, shoulders still fleshy so when we wear clothes, it's not so nice.

Does anyone have the previous comment written on the most recent case study? I emailed Jenny and she replied back really rudely, and thus changing the entire story to make it sound nicer. With Dr. Arthur being a certified surgeon and all

Sorry icebaby0, when Jenny replied me she said that she was the one who posted the comments, so now I wonder if she is the one trying to subotage Dr Arthur's name, I'm really confused :???: I'm not too sure if I should post her reply to me here, perhaps as a reference.

Angelfern,
my thoughts exactly especially on the part where his photos are very convincing, he does not have to go to the extent of bringing other doctors down. I have just replied back to Jenny's rude reply, will see how it goes.
