I just remove my stiches for my epi and lids today. I understand that Dr nara used the Z shape for epicanthoplasty .The unsuccessful cases of the Z shape epi may lead to deep scarring , and today I noticed how deep was my scar down way from my tear duct . Did anyone did epi with nara? and has problem with the scarring after post op??

i m planning to do my double eyelid wif dr nara too.. hope to get some useful info from ya :) if i i hav my surgery done..and fly back to sing the nxt day is it alright? wil it hurt alot? i think i shld be able to tk 2wks leave frm my boss. so 2wks aft the surgery, wil swelling subside alot so i can wear my contact lenses and makeup on bac to wrk..? lastly.. hw long i hav to wait to hav my stiches removed in sg cos i wil fly bac to sing the day after my surgery? sry to ask a few qns at one time..apprenciate ur help :) thanks :)
Hi PP,

For me, i stayed there 7 nights as I was doing lipo also.
I dont' know whether it's alright to fly back but the 1st day post op, you'll be super swollen (at least for my case).
Throughout the 7 nights, i slept sitting down, pillows prop up high as if i'm reading. According, this can reduce further swelling.
But even with the cold compress, proping up pillows, pineapple juice, sinecch etc, i was still so bruised and swollen.
I can't even recognise myself 1st day post op, I looked like an 50 yr old aunty!
But of cos this is due to individual healing process, maybe my body weaker or perhaps it's because i smoke.

If you're taking flight, air pressure might cause it to swell even further.
(i can't confirm this though)
Personally for me, I would stay another 1 or 2 days just "to play safe" and let Dr Nara have a final look before coming back Singapore.

Be prepared for immigrations to ask what happen.
I came back SG 7 days post op but still was asked.
The guy asked what's the bruises about, i just said i went to cut double eyelids.
Can't advise you on the contact lens cos i don't wear them.
As for make up, as long as your wound is fully closed, i guess it'll be ok to apply make up gently.

From what I know stitches for double eyelids is taken out 3-5 days. Mine was taken out on 4th day. If you're coming back SG to remove stitches, you can ask Dr Nara which day to remove it. He'll let you noe :)

Hi there,

Hope I able to seek for advise and experience from u guys. I am interested in doing my rhinoplasty (I prefer to use my own rib bone, what Rana will use then?), alarpasty, blepharoplasty, arm liposuction and cheek augmentation with Dr Nara. Any possibilities to do all in one go, or should I do one by one. Since I am planning to go next year and one shot take 2 weeks leave. Please advise. Can anyone share with me your pic, really envy :)
Thank you.

U're still in Hatyai or back in Malaysia?
coz Nara's botox is very affordable, only a fraction compared to SG.

The armpit or pectoral sweep depends on whether he's willing to do for you, i'm not sure but i think if he finds that there's not much to remove, he won't do it for you.

U've been to him 3 days ago, which areas did you lipo, you didn't manage to ask him about the armpit area?

Hi anglefern :)

Im back in Malaysia d :) dont worry , actually it wasnt so scary after all , i even took the tut tut to the "pasar" where u can get nice heels for as cheap as 30bht!!
Yeah I asked Nara bout the botox for the calves, bt he doesnt do it :( dont know why .. I didnt manage to asked him!! totally forgotten about it when i went there to get my waterproofs done. I did inner and outer thighs :)

heys lushes! whats the pasar called?? :) wna go there 2 shop!

Just tell the tut tut driver in hookien "pasak" (means market) , and he`ll know ...its where the tourist normally go .. The normal price rate is 20 bht per person so dont get cheated

Hi lushes, I don't think my epi scar is similar to yours after removal of stitches as Dr Nara did not use Z shape method on me.
