My nose is so round and it seems like theres no surgery done to it. It look more worst den b4 my surgery.
I do not have any pic as i am too depress to take any photos..
Tml will be the 3rd day after surgery, i am prayin very hard that i will look better.

I think im someone who bruise easily too.. so if u really wan to do nose, u must be strong to go thru all the swelling and bruising again.
Frm my understanding.. eyes recover slower den nose.
let me show you my post op day 2.
I didn't know why i bruised so badly.
I only did double eyelids.
Maybe after seeing my pic, you'll feel better! Hahaha
And because I'm there for about 7 days, I asked Dr Nara, Ning all the nurses almost everyday whether it's normal and they said yes.
So not to worry too much about the swelling and bruising, they'll go off.
Have a positive mindset, it helps in recovery. :)

I also got 1 of my besties with me there when I did it.
She did dimples and lipo
So with each other's accompany, we were was actually quite positive and happy although i got to go everywhere with sunglasses all the time, even at night.
Always remember, swelling, bruising, looking ugly is just a passing phrase in PS. :)

I mms the pic to my other besties in SG when i was there and 1 replied "GUI AH!" hahaha :P

Are your brusing as swelling as bad as what I had in pic?
If yes, then I really need too consider the time factor too.

PS: Please don't quote my pic. Thanks. :)

My bruise was not as bad as u.. i think its becos i onli do nose. the bruisin n swellin between nose n eyes is diff ba..

I have got a fren over here with me too... she did lipo.
Yest, i went back to the clinic and remove the bandage of my alar surgery den the nurse saw my swellin n bruisin and told mi its normal too and i will heal in 3 days. So i really hope her words are real.

Did anyone of ur colleague notice u went for double eyelid surgery?

Oh, all of them know already. It's very obvious.
Nothing to hide, 1st few days i put on glasses cos still had bruises.
After that, I just stop wearing it completely.
It's still obvious I did something cos still black and eyelids still fat but I just don't care.
Afterall, it's my eyes, my $, my life, my choice.
I just say "yeah, i went for double eyelids surgery" :D

Today while having break, a manager from another dept saw me and ask "your eyes quite sunken in. What happened?"
I just told him I went for double eyelid surgery loh.
He was quite fascinated and ask quite a few questions.
Heheheh :P

When I did my eyes 1 month ago and keep asking Dr Nara whether it's normal. He said swelling and bruising will peak at 3 days, after that it'll go off rather quickly.
As he explained this to me, he used his finger to draw an imaginary chart for me to see.
Today is your 3rd day? It should start to get better tomorrow onwards :)

You must stay positive and happy.
A healthy mind is necessary for speedy recovery.
Your brains will attract what it thinks nd turn them into reality
Go out to walk walk, look see, have dinner.
Esp for your friend who had lipo.
Me and my bestie realised the more you walk, the better you'll feel.
If you're outside on streets, you'll need to "force" yourself to be tough.
If coop yourselves in hotel room, you'll feel useless and fragile like a piece of tofu :P

I really respect you. u r so positive and brave. I dun dare to let my colleagues and family know i went for nose surgery. I hope by e time i go back to home, my family will not notice any diff and by e time i go back to work, my colleagues will think e same too.

My fren and i went out to eat den walk awhile and go back to hotel and rest. And i agree with u that A healthy mind is necessary for speedy recovery. Now my eyes are not so swollen and my fren told mi i look better compared to yest, only my nose is big.

I hope ur eyes will heal faster too.. den will be pretty pretty already. =)

Maybe because i read alot prior the op and expecting I'll look all bruised and swollen. But of cos my super serious bruising and swelling gave myself a shock too. But they're now all over.
Same goes for you, swelling and bruising will be over before you know it. :)
If you can, stop looking into mirror so often.
Actually for me, i took pics from from post op day 1 to day 10 everyday so i can see the healing.
It sure feels better when I see how much I had recovered. (positive thinking) not look into the pic and say "i'm still so swollen" ok?

I'm already over the stage which I'm afraid of people judging me.
Maybe also because older already, more thick skinned :P
When i met mum after I came back.
1st thing she said was" i knew it!" hahaha
cos i was away 9 days (inclusive of journey) :P
Chatted about the procedures and so then I realised my mum also did her eyes and nose before. 20 years ago! :o
But her eyes is laser double eyelids and nose is injection :P

You keep being positive and take good care you should see your results very soon! :D

greenies,
u just put the compress horizontal across your nose, there's some weight & pressure but don't worry, the nose can take it. Just play with it, after a while, not cold, throw it back to the freezer again.

U're suppose to put for 30 min, rest 30 min intervals.

Hi Angel,

I havent decide to go back or not. :?
Really can't decide if I want to have my nose done or not.
Still thinking about underchin lipo too, don't know how the results are like.
Hope to hear from huskyjude soon :)

But i feel my arms are unbalanced.
I always feel my left arm is bigger than right. :(
As in more "dangling", Don't know whether it's becos the skin for left arm didnt "retract" back as much as right arm.
I can see loose skin on my right underarm but i'm ok with it.
I'm realistic lah, mentally prepared for it cos I really have very loose dangling arms.
The skin retract back I'm already happy, nevermind if I can't wear sleeveless :)

I asked my hubby, he said almost the same but personally, I can see that left is more dangling than right loh, don't know if Dr Nara willing to do some touch up for me or not. (that'll be touching the same area again leh)

*Quote* I do not quite sure that it is from the swelling or from the prosthesis is deviate to the left side. If it is obvious, you can use your left thumb push it to the midline. You can do the pushing method if you feel no too much pain as much as you can. But if you feel pain please gentle apply the pressure.

Puttisak
thanks ebony!
i asked my parents and siblings but they said that my nose is straight, not crooked. so i don't really dare to shift it. anyway, how is your nose now? has the swelling gone down? still have bruises?
Bruises gone down. Only my left abit of swelling not very obvious, cause due to me shifting the implant maybe.. Only left the tip of my nose swell and hard. How about yours?
my nose not swollen anymore, except for the tip a teeny bit. but when i touch the bridge and tip, it's painful. is this normal?

Hi sasa,

Oh ya, ask u something, for the arms is it smooth & even? Will it have drumstick arms as in the upper arm near the armpit is bigger, then the part near the elbow is smaller? so not proportionate? U removed about 1.5L or more?

coz all along my plan is to go nara first to remove the excess then to arthur to do the rest. However, when I wrote to them, they advised me NOT to go elsewhere first, if not there will be complications for revisions etc.

So what do u guys think? Are they genuinely concerned about my well being or don't want me to go to another doc?

Hi Angel,

I can't comment on that because I'm an exceptional leh cos I'm big.
My arms are chicken drumsticks to start with so Dr Nara target more at the fatty dangling part at armpit area there.
Initally, I was afraid lower arms will be bigger than upper arms after lipo but when after Dr Nara does the drawing you'll know where he's targetting at. It's wont be unproportionate.
I don't know exactly how much is being taken out but it sure is alot for my arms. even when i said my left arms is still dangling but when i squeeze the dangling part, the fats in there are much lesser than what i started with.
I'm suspecting the skin for my left arm doesn't retract, that's why it's dangling. Where for my right arm, can see loose skin crumpled up "jiao jiao" (hokkien) at the underarms.

Maybe you can ask envyme how her arms lipo are.
Perhaps hers will be more accurate for you. :)

Actually I would agree with them.
My personal opinion, go to either 1 not both.
You see, If you want to go Dr Nara to remove 1st then Dr Arthur for touch up, the time frame in btw will be short right?
Your body haven't recover from 1st round then go for 2nd round?

Whatever the docs do, they got their reasons.
Like Dr Nara says he don't do the same area twice, I believe he has his reasons. Who doesn't want to earn from money ya?
But from a doc point of view, what they're afraid most is complications and endangering patient's lives. That'll in turn ruin their reputation.

I suggest you try slim down then go either 1.
my humble 2 cents. :)
