Wow, angelfern, really have to agree that I like discussing with you too!! And I learnt something from you too, about the liposuction in theathre and there must be a anaethetist to watch over. We can't get this kind of service from Arthur although the price we pay are much higher than Nara.angelfern wrote:envyme,
yes, we think very much alike, that's why i like to discuss with u. i've the same concerns too. The reason why our govt imposed this 1L rule is that there're some people who died during lipo, either the heart stopped or too much bleeding, i'm not sure.
so it's logical that it has to be in a operating theatre in a hospital, in the event that there's something wrong, the doctor can resuscitate or the anaesthetist can watch over when there's a long operation because we'll need a lot sedation, LA to sustain it. If there's no anaethetist to watch over us, the doc will be preoccupied with the lipo, if there's any trouble, it will be too late.
As a consumer, naturally, I wish we can remove as much as possible, just that safety is very important too, don't wish anyone to die on the operating table like in US and Malaysia.
Previously he rejected big sized people may due to the same reason, but if limit 2L, can't see good results. However, if he reject them, business will be affected. Honestly, how many slim girls will consider lipo, maybe some perfectionists, the majority will be average or a little ba ba.
anti-inflam cream is steroid..sasa05_ wrote:just a quick update on the anti-inflammatory cream issue.
Went to the pharmacy to get anti-inflammatory cream.
Told the pharmacist direct it's for double eyelids sugery.
She says normally anti-inflammatory cream is not for such purposes, the most she could issue me is antispetic cream.
Got difference meh?![]()
She says the surgeon will issue, I told her I'm going oveseas and I'm not too sure if the surgeon will issue.
Therefore thought of getting a tube over.
She says check with my surgeon, it might not be necessary.
And if it's necessary, the surgeon will issue.![]()
like die die dun want to issue me
Left the pharmacy without getting anything.![]()
Anyway, I'll just bring the current tube i have along and ask Nara if need apply or not.
Hi Foxxie, have you limited your choices to only Preecha and Somyos? I'm not very sure on either to be honest, but I think Somyos is an ENT by training if I'm not wrong which may be a better thing if you want your nose done. Preecha seems to be a sex change specialist and if I'm not wrong he's pushing 70 years old? I'm not biased against his specialty or age but I thought you might want to consider those as well.foxxie wrote:Hi aadvark..u have a prominent forehead, so in my opinion, even with a high bridge, it'd still look natural for youyou can always tell the PS not to extend ur tip too much. i think they are more afraid of ppl who wanna extend the tip a lot. if you dun even wanna extend at all, can opt for an I-shaped implant
I recommend a chin implant, will flatten you cheeks a bit and make your whole face slimmer and sharper.
and finally maybe reduce the upper lip a bit, so upper lip got more definition
Thank's for your suggestions![]()
What is the different within L-shaped and I-shaped? also what is S-shaped implant?
is I-shaped implant will look bulky / blocky? which one should look more natural in my nose?
i already asked the doctors about this but they seems avoiding my questions and only gve a simple explanations.. i know they're busy man..
i saw some trouble pictures caused by L-shaped implant,
and most of the L-shaped implant noses are a bit too pointy..,
also problem with I-shaped implant which more likely to be shifted..
i heard that implant could be shifted by the time? i won't getting any secondary surgeon to take a revision.it seems a bit risky to use implant in the nose.. =( so i probably stay with my natural bridge..
maybe i will take alarplasty & tip refinement.. also chin implant & lower lip reduction.
should i go with Dr. Preecha or Dr. Somyos??
since Dr. Preecha is much cheaper that Dr. Somyos huhu., >.<
hi boi,boii18 wrote:anti-inflam cream is steroid..
nv apply steroid on open wound, or recently healed skin or scar..
first it can absorb into your bloodstream causing hormone problems.
second it weakens the skin tissue, prevent the wound from healing.
third steroid creams shd nv be used around the eyes due to thin skin there leading to many side effects.
pls nv apply steroid creams unless the wound is around 3 months old.. and is hypertrophic and tight.
Yah! Slimming centre are just useless!! for bigger size people, they put on weight fast but when they go for diet or exercise their weight loss also alot but will slow down till certain weight. I used to be 90kg, i always stayed at home, not eat alot n my weight gradually drop n drop n drop until 65kg as time goes by and it stopped there!! Damn.angelfern wrote:envyme,
ya, true. I rather go to Nara for the first round to target those problem areas first, if i've to go for touch ups or second round then don't mind nara too as i can treat it as a short holiday. anyway, I like thailand.
Arthur's too many factors to consider, if i go for second round, he'll snigger that i'm still too big, need another package of 16 areas. I've been to slimming centres before, they like to criticise, tease you & pressure you to sign up for more expensive packages, this is how I gathered from their side. Like slimming centre very pro in pushing sales.
erh hem, i started from the face lipo & buccal fat removal first, thought that i shall lose 3 kg first before I go for the body lipo but didn't expect myself to put on 7 to 8kg after that though. very misleading, coz when l looked in the mirror, face is slim but the fats have been quietly creeping up my body. very sly.
Hello Angel,angelfern wrote:Hi sasa05,
When r u going to Nara's? buy sineech, good for bruising and swelling.
No probsfoxxie wrote:Hi Jamie!!
Thank you for your useful information and suggestions!
i'm very grateful!
well, the reason why i choose Dr. preecha & Somyos, i think they're the best i can find so far by reading all the testimonies..
Thailand is quite near from Indonesia so I think it would less risky in case something happened with my surgeon..
I was planned to done it in Korea, but it's too expensive and i don't know the best PS there..,
I'm agree with you, i love the 'curve' of my nose-bridge, if i augmented my bridge alone without doing my tip, i think it'll look so wierd and 'plain'..
Besides, i'm not sure with L-shape implant, i'm afraid the tip thins out the skin over time and may start showing through!
Do you think i will look good with I-shape implant and graft my tip using cartilage, and narrowing my nostrils? I'm finding that the best procedures for me are a bit augmentation, tip-plasty, and alarplasty.
I don't want to change the look, i want to keep the 'curve' of my nose.
Only want to make it a bit 'stands out' and more defined tip..
oh and do you have any other reccomendations of ENT doctors?
i want to make a list and do another research =)
and i don't wanna go for any revisions.. so i want to find the best PS with best price too
I've seen some before after photos of Dr. Kao.
i was impressed!
THANK YOU SO MUCH JAMIE!! =D
