we're back! and super swollen...

mewmewzz looked perfectly normal at the airport, because she bought lots of pills and supplements to recover faster, and her bf picking her up at airport, so she had to look normal so he cannot find out...

me and lazy did more stuff at tokai clinic, so we look horrendously swollen...
lazy did tip reduction at Tokai for 25000 baht, can see a visible difference straight after the op, so now have to wait for her to recover to ascertain the results...

i did cheek and under chin lipo for 30000 baht in total, not too bad... Dr Pat gave us discounts... he said, u r Singaporeans, Singaporeans likes cheap... hahaha :P

tokai clinic looks not bad, shophouse and 3 storeys high. the surgery room is on top floor, and has much more equipment than nara's. Got constant heart monitor, blood pressure monitor, and placed us on drip...

he placed me under GA, with the gas, not injection, when i woke up, i was in the patient's ward already. but the best part abt tokai is the post op care!!!

the nurses super friendly... Lazy din wanna go back to hotel, cos she had nose bleed after the surgery (which is common) but she din feel safe so ask to stay overnight, and one of the nurses stayed back to look after her. they ask u wat u want to eat and they will go out and buy it for you at no extra charge :D i asked for fish porridge, and it was delicious!!!

i went back hotel to sleep, and went to get lazy at the clinic the next day b4 we headed to airport. Lazy said she felt like a princess... the nurses combed her hair, and used wet cloth to help her wipe her body... even when she told them to let her do it herself, lol! :)

Lazy wanted to buy mangoes back to sg for family, so they asked her pass them the money, then they went out and bought the mangoes for her! :) they even gave me free lunch when i went to pick up lazy, hahaha! my face swollen from the cheek lipo and under chin lipo, i look like alvin the chipmunk... will post pix when i finally recover :D

Merry Christmas people! :D

yes they only do 'I' implant to what i know..perhaps it is very much safer since it doesnt interfere with the tip too much.. if ur juz looking to enhance ur features i think it is enough.

jawlines and chin are like different right? if u say ur face look square, then it is due to the jaw being too parallel to each other, e.g a bit wide. it will required shaving of jaws which i think will be a major operation. chin juz makes the tip of ur face sharper, doesnt help with squarish-ness a lot.. haha.

i think if it is not necessary then u should skip altering with ur jaws... i nv tot that having lots of foreign implants and surgeries will be good.

i wonder how my nose will fare 10-50 yrs down the road.. hope it stays safe and sound. :?
hmm, maybe add me to msn, and i can see ur pic, then i can show u whether chin implant got change my face and we can discuss whether will work for you, same thing with the nose implant :)
Thanks everyone for the help, my doctor is somboon, addvark, how to add u i dont have your msn hahaha..Yah would definitely hope to do more.. i am so crazy about PS!! my frens though i am insane!
you're not insane, just obsessed, like me~ lol :D

hello! for lipo at nara, he does only traditional lipo, which is very traumatic and downtime is longer. two thumbs up only for the price! btw, i heard trad. lipo is not only invasive and the results is not better than VASER or any other newer technology. i am nonetheless interested due to the price. 500SGD for abdomen/two thighs(outer).

WELCOME BACK! Dr Pat does autologous? Gosh, it's gonna create another rave. For how much? Using which part of our body? Rib or ear cartilage?

Oh oh, and you mentioned Lazy did tip? Was it tip refinement? Did it get sharper? Or just smaller and less bulbous?

Lastly, your lipo for cheek and under chin is what kind of lipo? Traditional? Or smartlipo?

Anw MERRY XMAS!

Hello guys,

I am here to affirm that Tokai Clinic's post op care is fantastic. I did tip refinement over there and Dr Pat mentioned that if he open up the nose (it's open rhino surgery) and if necessary to insert an implant, he would take it from the ear cartilage. Thank goodness after the surgery, he mentioned he did not insert any implant for me because I dont need it.

However I have to warn you that tip refinement is very painful. Halfway through the surgery, I woke up and could feel them cutting the cartilage and sewing the nose. I kept telling myself to bear the pain but it's sooooo painful. (Note: I had tongue piercing and it's not even half the pain for tip surgery)

After the surgery, aadvark mentioned that I looked damn pale. I was running a slight fever too because of the pain I guess. Maybe next time, ask for anaesthesia or moan when in pain. Don't be stupid like me, trying to tolerate the pain. The post op care compensated for it so I am very impressed with Tokai Clinic and give it thumbs up!

My nose is swollen so unable to tell if it is sharper but i can see that it is smaller and less bulbous already which is great since i assume it would get smaller when the swelling is gone. I think it is worth the money afterall ;)
