Back from my trip from Dr nara about a week plus now.

Did eyelid, epicanthoplasty, rhino and alarplasty. Tho its about close to 2 weeks, I feel my eyes now is still unusually big and unnatural. Also the inner part of my eye is exposed and u can see the flesh covering the eyeball. Im thinking its because of the epicanthoplasty. Will it heal and cover up the flesh?

Just wondering if anyone who did epicanthoplasty with Dr nara can share some feedback or pics? Would also love to talk privately on msn if possible too. Got too many qns to ask haha.

Will get some pics up if i manage to grab a camera.
How was the whole procedure of your surgery like? Pain? Did you wake up halfway or slept thru out?
hmm, i was told the entire surgery for the above procedures took about 3 hrs from the nurse. I was aslept for much of the operation till about the last 30mins or so. From there onwards, I can really feel the pricking, stitchings, pain was rather unbearable tho I rate myself as having a high-tolerance level. My hands started to get numb too as it had to be tied to the bedside.

When everything was done, i got to request for painkillers as the pain level was pretty high, maybe due to the LA wearing off, as the 4 surgeries took about 3hrs?

Now im really worried about the epi that i done as it made my eyes look really unnatural to the point it can look quite freaky. Also the epi scars are kinda prominent that i need advice on how to remove it.

I was reading that most docs would reccomend doing rhino first and letting it heal b4 doing epi as the skin around the bridge will be stretched and kinda hard to judge to do a proper epi.

Sorry my com was down! That's shitty. By the way it's 3 weeks post op now, the result is there but not very satisfied though.

I think Dr Nara's price is good but the amount of fat they take out is also that limit.

My tummy is kinda flat now just that there are lumps on the whole treated area, waiting for it to go away. However, they did not lipo my upper tummy, so can you imagine my upper tummy is bulging out but lower tummy is flatter? Weird right? And I don't think I'm big enough to have tummy done seperatly.

As for thigh area, worst, I initially wanted inner and outer thigh, however they think my front thigh is alot more than outer so they did front and inner thigh instead.

But you know what? For the front thigh, they only suck 1/2 of them! Meaning only upper front thigh. What about my lower front thigh? Oh my god, the swelling and bruising all gone now and I realised this. Can you imagine my upper front thigh is flatter than my lower front thigh? It looks like I have a big lumps on my lower front thigh. I don't know how to wear skirts or shorts now. Definitly can see from the side.

Sigh.. very disappointing results though. Why didn't they do the whole front thigh? I really hate touching my front thigh now, especially the bulging part on my lower front thigh.

Very SAD!
Oh dear, i'm sorry to hear that.
Could it be that you havent fully deswell yet?
i think Dr nara should have taken such points into consideration when he did the lipo?

read lipo need at least 3 months, can go up to 6mths to see final results.
Maybe you want to take some pics and send to Nara for his advice?

Hi CNB,
can I check how long did the bruises for your eyes takes to go away?
Thinking of rhino and double eyelids but afraid of down time cos only away for office about 10 days.

Actually i don't want anyone to know i went for surgery at all, esp colleagues. They'll b*tch about it.
I already have double eyelids but due to puffy eyes, half is hidden, though of correcting them.

Would like to hear your experience.
Seems like recovery for eyes takes forever

Will you be going by coach or plane?
How do you normally book the hotel?
I'm still waiting for a friend to confirm with me before i book the coach/flight.

my bruises went away on the 7th day for me, generally was reading around and most doctors general consensus is approx 7-10 days. Still pple can tell u did something as it will not completely deswell to what u were fomerly were. Prolly take 1 mth ( from dr nara). As for the end result, approx takes 6mths to a year.

Well, not only the healing was a bitch to handle, u cant really shower as per normal. Im at the stage where the scars are healing, once im in contact with water, i can feel the itch which can be pretty bad.

For travel arrangements, u can either take a coach but u gotta endure a back/neck breaking 14-15hrs journey which can be terrible if the coach is crowded. I was lucky when I went to Hatyai with only 4-6 person, u can stretch ur legs or lower ur chair till ur liking. On my return journey, coach was full and can be rather uncomfortable. Ur next option would be to take a plane which commence in the oct period?

For hotel, u can either book thru websites like hotethailands.com or the multiple travel agency there. Yes, u can book on the spot subject to room availability. They call it a voucher. Pricing wise, approx the same, the rate i stayed at lee gardens plaza was 1070 baht from the travel agency and the rate i got from online booking was also approx the same iirc.

Hope this helps

Hey Icebaby0, just saw you at the cozycot forum about lipo at medan too. :)
Yah, I am there too. I am just thinking...Dr Nara seems to charge cheaper than Dr Arthur. So was debating whether I should just attempt to do the lipo on lower tummy with Dr Nara and see the effects cos for me, I really just want that portion flat. I am still okay with my thighs and rest of the body...just that tummy area. But again, my worry is whether it will cause more loose skin in future.

Emailed Dr Nara....3 days...still waiting for response. Haiz.

I read about that but it's really not cheap esp in sg... :(

Aadvark, Can i check with you.
my eyelids thick and puffy, kinda like droop down and cover my double eyelids and make me look like garfield.
if i never remember wrongly, yours was something like that?

For your eyes, how long u took for the bruises to go away?
How long will the swelling last? I only got about 10-11 days away from office. how long does it takes to look at least ok?
I don't want to go back and everyone start asking.
i have a fren who went to do RF for body, think he paid 1800 for 10 sessions, he went for 2 sessions and can see slimmed down a bit le, tighter too, not bad, will keep u all updated ;)

eyelid bruising took abt 2 weeks ba, but after that, the eyelid crease will look a bit thick and unnatural, have to wait for it to slowly go down, but since girl, can cover up with fake lashes ba

It's so true when people said don't expect to be very slim after lipo with Nara, only expect that they bulging area is flatten, that's all.

Sigh.
i dun think it's just abt nara, it's abt lipo in general. the slim figure that is considered desirable comes from exercise as well.

The lumps are normal (google), just massage and do some exercises to break them down faster

it takes pretty long for one op to heal, not to mention multiple ops...

take pics for the following milestones:
1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months

that's roughly the entire time taken for ur face to look natural. it's a tedious process, i should know, been thru it multiple times :P

It's useless to take picture and ask for their advices already.. cos I'm only talking about the part that did not touch on lipo with.. for the lipo area, yes there are results already am pretty pleased with them but the area around them that did not lipo are just it's original size. So you can imagine those area that was not lipo is still as fat and the lipo part are slim and flat. So it look very inproportionate.

Sigh.

I wonder why couldn't they touch on the area around to smoothen the result. Especially my thigh area. Upper front thigh is flatter than lower front thigh and it looks as if i have a big lump in the middle of the thigh. Wear skirt confirm can see from the side that my thigh is weird.

Now I am just upset if they were to seperate the thigh area into different parts, at least should inform me earlier on through email or during consultation.

Anyway i was intending to do my outer thigh, when everything was done I was then told that they did front thigh for me instead of outer thigh as there were more fats over there. But at least ask for my opinion or consent before they do? It's my body afterall.

So sad.

I see, if you just want your lower tummy to be flat, just that portion between your hip bones then you should go to dr Nara. If your concerns also extend to the side as in waist area and hips, then Dr arthur. I did tummy and my sides wasn't touch on , just the tummy itself.

I am intending to go to Dr arthur.
