I don't know how Nara is going to arrange which areas to go 1st but i'm thinking of having the most painful area to be done 1st so i can have more time for that area to recover. What do you think?

I read 1st stage is to be worn 1-2 weeks after op and stage 2 up to 8 weeks. When do u decide it's time to change to a stage 2 garment?
Also, I'm afraid after stage 1, i might down a size, so thinking whether i should get both stages together. or wait until i'm ready to go into a stage 2 then order.
You're post-op a few weeks already.
Have u drop any size or you felt yr clothes to be looser?

You stayed in lee gardens plaza?
was there wifi in the room?
I guess it's best if you can get both stage 1 and stage 2. and it would be cheaper to order all in one go, since you only pay one flat shipping fee instead of 2 times.

My clothes were looser on day 14 or so, my tummy now is flat but still needs toning i guess. Some parts still swollen. If you are buying CG, i suggest you buy one size smaller then your current size. And I think you can wear stage 2 after 2 or 3 weeks.

Lee Gardens does not have wifi in room, only at the lobby. If you are intending to just rest in room, you may have to choose a hotel with in-room wifi. Booking at the travel agency at Hatyai is way cheaper than booking online. I ended up paying about $20 - $30 more due to poor exchange rate when using credit card to book online.

Sasa05, perhaps you should consider what Dr Nara said about tummy tuck. I heard from my friends who have given birth before that the skin sort of gets over stretched and becomes loose. So perhaps it is not actual fat inside but more of skin that has lost elasticity. Tummy tuck cuts away the excess skin so that the tummy becomes more taut. But alot of scarring. You need to ask Dr Nara more about downtime and scarring etc.

Like my arms, not much fat inside, Dr Nara said mostly is skin and muscle (maybe not toned) but I insisted to do lipo. I can see difference (smaller arms) but the loose skin still there, so it still looks un-toned at some parts.

Just my two cents worth, but decision lies on yourself. Must research carefully and ask more questions first.

I intend to get the CG from singapore and sinecch from Rachel.
Tried to buy garments and 2 sinecch online @ makemeheal.
However, after + shipping and so, it'll total up to US$371.40.
the conversion rates although is at 1.43 but online rates shld be about at least 1.48? if i use 1.48, total will be S$549.67.
I emailed SG dstributer and asked. The 3 garments will be total of S397.80.
then will purchase sinecch from Rachel, any idea how much is rachel selling the sinecch at?
If i'm buying from SG, then i'll buy stage 1 only. After 2 weeks when swelling go down, take measurements again then purchase stage 2.

How to book the hotel at travel agency from Hatyai?
Reach there then book?
I'm afraid they don't have rooms if i never book in advance!

yes berserkmind, thks so much for yr advice. :)
i saw the post op pics at makemeheal, it's a long scar all the way from below belly, one end to the other.
Tummytuck need to stay hospital 3 days, i saw makemeheal the stories..
some immobolise like for up to 6 weeks leh...That 1 I really can't.
Don't have so much leave + got a kid.
I also can't be too sure if i'll have more kids in future although I say I wont now.
For the time being, all i want is a nicer shape and look better in clothes :(

maybe can research on RF for the body as an alternative to tummy tuck
help tighten the skin, may reverse loose skin
Next: Forehead augmentation, botox, RF

Perfectcut22,
thanks for the comment.
my eye lashes are actually not that long loh, i don't know why they look so long in the pic!

Have very swollen and fat eyelids, therefore double eyelids kinda hidden inside.
Want to do eyes also but recovery of eyes seems to take forever when i read through the thread.

i told my gf, so many things want to do, so little time, so little money, so many worries! hahaha :P

Anyway, read you'll be going to Nara in Nov too ya?
which dates will you be there? :)
Do the eyes and nose together lah... since already there.. =)

Yes i'm gg over on 31st october. Doing breast, nose revision and chin altogether. =)

Everyone talking about lipo... think seems like not much doing breast and chin huh. =( I re-read the whole thread again... haha...

I read about that but it's really not cheap esp in sg... :(

Aadvark, Can i check with you.
my eyelids thick and puffy, kinda like droop down and cover my double eyelids and make me look like garfield.
if i never remember wrongly, yours was something like that?

For your eyes, how long u took for the bruises to go away?
How long will the swelling last? I only got about 10-11 days away from office. how long does it takes to look at least ok?
I don't want to go back and everyone start asking.

Not many did breast, even if they did, i only read say 2-3 people sharing their stories.

Hi people, still remember me?

Sorry my com was down! That's shitty. By the way it's 3 weeks post op now, the result is there but not very satisfied though.

I think Dr Nara's price is good but the amount of fat they take out is also that limit.

My tummy is kinda flat now just that there are lumps on the whole treated area, waiting for it to go away. However, they did not lipo my upper tummy, so can you imagine my upper tummy is bulging out but lower tummy is flatter? Weird right? And I don't think I'm big enough to have tummy done seperatly.

As for thigh area, worst, I initially wanted inner and outer thigh, however they think my front thigh is alot more than outer so they did front and inner thigh instead.

But you know what? For the front thigh, they only suck 1/2 of them! Meaning only upper front thigh. What about my lower front thigh? Oh my god, the swelling and bruising all gone now and I realised this. Can you imagine my upper front thigh is flatter than my lower front thigh? It looks like I have a big lumps on my lower front thigh. I don't know how to wear skirts or shorts now. Definitly can see from the side.

Sigh.. very disappointing results though. Why didn't they do the whole front thigh? I really hate touching my front thigh now, especially the bulging part on my lower front thigh.

Very SAD!

Sorry, forgotten to say about arms too. Arms also have same problem. The arm area beside armpit wasn't touch on also. I still can't wear sleeveless because my arms wasn't slim enough.

It's so true when people said don't expect to be very slim after lipo with Nara, only expect that they bulging area is flatten, that's all.

Sigh.

I have already email Dr Nara with some photos and to ask him about his advise on lipo for tummy and thigh. Cos my worry about my tummy area might not due 100% because of fats but more on loose skin.

Anyone have that experience?

sorry, it just boggled my mind when one post from another forum overrides many decent reviews from this one. Of cos, everyone should take what they read in a forum with a pinch of salt, but the logic behind this case baffles me... especially when the posts read "my friends did blah blah blah.... and they claimed blah blah blah..." basically 3rd-hand info

dun get me wrong, i'm not picking on you, huskyjude; just that we have many old-timers who painstakingly write detailed descriptions of their trips and ops etc, and too many newcomers who dun read the older posts and ask questions which have been repeated nth times.

sure, many of you will say "no one's asking you, aadvark, other people will be glad to answer me." but i think many old-timers might share my sentiments.

i understand that PS is a big step, so do read all the older posts. if you ask a question, you will get an opinion from maybe 2-3 forumers. if you read all the other posts, you will be absorbing all the experiences of multi-forumers, and i think that's a piece of logic no one can deny.

huskyjude: arms and tummy cost the same as other areas, nara charges 10,000 baht per area. check out http://www.dr-nara.com
Thanks aadvark for the link.

Dr. Nara considers the tummy 2 areas, both arms one area whereas Dr Arthur from Medan divides the tummy area into 5 areas - lower & upper tummy, waist, flanks & lower back. So I was just wondering if Dr Nara charges different parts as one area each or considers the whole abdomen area as one area.

So I would like to ask if anyone who did their abdomen/tummy area if Dr. Nara did the side areas of the waist & lovehandles as well?

It's rather hard to get an appt with Dr Nara. He's fully taken up this month & next. I managed to get a slot on 23 oct but I would much like to go earlier.
Hi,

Nope Dr nara don't include the side area like waist and love handles. I did tummy and he only did lower tummy for me. So now my upper tummy is bigger than my lower tummy, plus my side area(waist, lovehandles, flanks) wasn't touch on so no difference in there. Just simply lower tummy flattens.

Hi,

Back from my trip from Dr nara about a week plus now.

Did eyelid, epicanthoplasty, rhino and alarplasty. Tho its about close to 2 weeks, I feel my eyes now is still unusually big and unnatural. Also the inner part of my eye is exposed and u can see the flesh covering the eyeball. Im thinking its because of the epicanthoplasty. Will it heal and cover up the flesh?

Just wondering if anyone who did epicanthoplasty with Dr nara can share some feedback or pics? Would also love to talk privately on msn if possible too. Got too many qns to ask haha.

Will get some pics up if i manage to grab a camera.

How was the whole procedure of your surgery like? Pain? Did you wake up halfway or slept thru out?
