Mine was removed in Dr Nara's clinic. Actually, its a very simple process which takes less than 5 mins, any GP can do that.

I bought two packets when i did my nose and eyes..
hmm it's up to individual i guess...cos i dunno what's the outcome if i did not eat them..so can't really comment...but i did spread out taking the content of the two boxes
Hi Brenton,

Do you think there will be difference in your healing process if you consume 1 packet of Sinecch instead of 2?

What do you mean by spread out to consume the 2 packets? Is it something like after finishing the 1st packet, you stop 1 day or 2 and continue with the second packet??

Thanks in advance!!!
Rachel works for the pharmaceutical so she should have more experience dealing in it. I reread your post, u will be doing multiple days of lipo, i suppose 2 packets make sense. Tot it's only like a one day full surgery thingey :)
Next: Forehead augmentation, botox, RF

Proper dosage with Arnica 1M is 1 dose right before operation, and following operation up to 4 doses daily for the next 4 days. You can carry on for 1 week if swelling is severe with a lot of brusing.

(just copy and pasting my post into here-)

Hey everyone!

Got back from Yoskarn a couple of days ago. And I am happy to say, a very successful trip!!!!

I really dont know where to start, anywho. I had 3 procedures done at Yoskarn, eyelash implants, eyelid revision and rino (alar, tiplasty and refinement of bridge)

When I arrived in Thailand i was taken straight to the hospital for some tests, blood pressure, x-ray and blood tests, needless to say this really scared me and I started having doubts about the whole trip. My main worry was that I was not fit enough to go through with the surgery so thank god it was all ok!

Anyway I will try keep it short. I stayed at aphrodite inn which is linked directly with yoskarn, they have a door that leads straight into the clinic so no need to walk the streets all puffy and swollen!

My consultation with Dr Somyos Kunachak was about 25 minutes, he had his surgical gear on and seemed a bit rushed for time. he looked at my nose and proposed a silicone implant alar, tip refinement. I said no to the silicone implant which he accepted. My main concern with my nose is not my bridge, altho it is not very high it is not low to start off with. So he suggested alar, tiplasty bridge refinement and aquamid on the upper part of my nose bridge. I asked to see some pictures and he said to look at his website, admittedly this disheartened me a little. So then I asked his assistants if i could see pictures and they said they would show me the next day which they did after i had paid. I think they are only willing to show you before and afters when you are definately going to have surgery with them.

I looked at rhinos of western and asian patients and i have to say they were incredible. Alot of them were revisions too which is actually alot harder than primary. Some of them had really complexed noses and Dr Kunachak had managed to turn them not only into 'normal' looking noses but into really beautiful looking ones. There were lots of folders of before and after pictures, she couldnt show me most of them as they had not given permission. But the ones I saw made me much more confident and relaxed about the whole situation. I saw a couple of eyelid revisions, which again I was impressed with and a few eyelash transplant ones.

Had my eyes and nose done together, minimal pain although the injections were quite nasty. The packing that is used to stuff the nose is awful too, i couldnt breathe out of my nose for 3 days and had a really sore throat and any water i tried to drink kept going up the wrong pipe! The worse procedure was the eyelash transplant. Dr Somyos' team performed the transplant on me, with about 4 of them working on me. The injections were incredibly painful and I actually cried during the procedure!haha I feel stupid and bad for crying but it was so painful I couldnt keep it in.

I am 2 weeks post op and I must say I absolutely adore my new nose. Id like to share my pictures but not just posting them up here. My tip is so defined and 'cute' and the contour of my nose is just so delicate and feminine! Is there a photo album site where I can make an album and a special password for people? I am so happy with what Dr Somyos has done for me, the longer I was at Yoskarn the more friendly and warm Dr Somyos and thier team were to me. The post op care is amazing, and they would often bring me treats and desserts. I am also very happy with my eyes although they are still swollen and its too early for the results of eyelash transplant (can take 6 months).

Dr Somyos is a very busy man. After my eyelid revision they took me to my room for about 15 minutes as he had a couple of consultations to see to....now I realise when I had my consultation what he was doing. Then after that they did my nose. I think he finished at around 9pm. So to those who were also put off by his website, I dont blame him if he does not have any time to look at it, he is always working!!! I saw alot of patients, and a few with bandaged up noses....am still surprised there is still so little information about him on the net, as in my personal opinion he is a very highly skilled surgeon.

wow, theres so much I can say but am just so overwhelmed. Please anyone ask questions because I know how one persons opinion/experience matters so much as I was researching I was desperate for the slightest bit of information. Fire away!!

hey sasa05,

u will be able to walk urself back to the hotel or take a tuk tuk after ur lipo. the area will be numb and u wont feel any pain at all immediately after tat. u may feel a little groggy but u can always rest in teh clinic till u feel good enuf to go back. i was always able to go back immediately after tat.

though i went with frens and SO, i went back on my own after every procedure done. so no worries ya! :) u will survive. :)

first trip day 1 > did eyes and nose with dr putt & took a tuk tuk on my own to nara for lipo, then went back to the hotel with my fren who also had lipo done.

first trip day 2 > did lipo with nara and walked back to hotel alone

first trip day 3 > depart from hatyai by coach

2nd trip day 1 > did chin with putt and took tuk tuk to hotel on my own, there was a lapse of an hr so i rested for a while and chatted with frens then went back to nara on my own and did lipo and walked back alone. met frens & SO in the hotel and walked to eat bak kut teh together.

2nd trip day 2 > did lipo again and walked back alone, met up with frens at the hotel and took tuk tuk out to have dinner. we even went shopping..

2nd trip day 3 > depart from hatyai by coach

if u are worried, get a fren or go with someone here who plans to do the surgeries.. tat'll probably make u feel better.. hths.. :)

Hi Pootie,
Thanks so much for your reply and assurance! :)
None of my frds could acc me on the trip and i dun intend to tell my family so i guess i'll be all on my own.
Hope dat i'll be able to find someone here who's going there the same dates....
I'm now at a stage i need lots of advice and info...
excited and worried at the same time but cant help it.
1st time doing PS and alone.

Which area did you do your lipo?
Can i ask whether yr skin sag after lipo? (very scared of tis!)
Any recommendations for the compression suit?
seperate piece or full body?
saw 1 by Veronique for full body... US$240 and dunno whether Singapore distributor carrys it or not..

I'm tinking making an appt on 7th Nov for consultation, will Dr Nara do the lipo straight after consultation?
Initally, I was only tinking of doing arms. I had emailed him my arms pics which his reply was ok, can do. (very fat and flabby arms :( )
Now, i'm tinking since i'll be there, i might as well do 3-4 areas at 1 shot...
most probably thighs, love handles, tummy

If i call Dr Nara for the appt, do i need to inform the nurse i'm going to do 3-4 areas so he can reserve the dates for me?

Sorry for the endless questions...
and thanks alot for yr time~ :)

i did inner and outter thighs and tummy.. no saggy skin after tat, my frens who did also didnt have saggy skin...

we buy girdles for thighs and for tummy, i didnt use anything.. wat the garments do are just to give u support so tat when u walk / run/ jump, the parts tat u did lipo on wont wobble tat much.. when it doenst wobble, u dun feel tat much discomfort.. u stil can walk like normal after tat..... i always do.. dun worry too much..

one body part per day, ie inner thighs both legs = 1 part, outter thighs both legs = 1 part, tummy = 1 part, love handles = 1 part, both arms = 1 part, if u do 5 parts u need to book 5 days, he is adamant abt 1 part per day so dun have to try to beg/argue/convince him.. u will be wasting ur time..

u will be able to find PS buddies here if ur time is flexi.. best of luck!!! :D

Hi all,

Dr. Nara and Dr. Pat replied my emails already and both of them told me that I won't need cheek augmentation, buccal fat removal nor alar. So I'll just do Rhino and lipo.

I'm leaning towards Nara but still contemplating to see Pat simply because the travel time would be much shorter and less complicated.

By the way, Dr. Putt has not reply me until now and it's been 2 weeks already :( Should I just call him directly? Anyone know how much Dr. Putt charge for Rhino??

Thanks :)

Hi Pootie,

Thanks for the fast reply and your patience answering all my queries~

Can check wif u whether u're of normal size or big?
I'm big so naturally, the fats taken out will be more...
Therefore worry abt the sagging skin.
Will the compression garment help to "tuck" the sagging skin too?

How bad was your bruising and swelling after the lipo?
How long did it take for the bruises to recover?
I need to wear short sleeves at wk, so i need to tink of a way if the bruises are bad~ :(
did u take sinecch like many others here did?
wat are the things u did or took to speed up the recovery?
Wat I had read are- pineapple juice, papaya, taking sinecch before and after op,...
wanna noe more from ppl who had been there, done it.
How many incisions did the doc do on each area.. eg yr tummy?
how big was the incisions? Will it leave an obvious scar?

Thanks for your time.
I really need to noe as much as i can from ppl wif experience before i go ahead.

I'm of average size. i stand at 163cm and weigh abt 49kg to 50kg. Lipo wont make u weigh very much lesser but u will look much lighter than u actually are when u stand on the scale

u will get very bad bruising but the bruises will go away completely in a month.

I dun think u will get saggy skin cos our skin are generally elastic (unless u are old so u lose the elasticity), wearing the garments give u support so when u walk u dun feel the bruises tat much. i wear leggings underneath my pants for support. :) if you are doing only lipo, u can go to work almost immediately. you;ll walk normal. :)

the main ingredient in sinnech is arnica montana, that is supposed to help with the recovery of bruising. pple take pineapple juice cos of bromelain tat is found in the juices which helps to reduce swelling. you may not want to take too much of pineapple juice cos it contains calories and can make u grow fat. just let it swell and the swelling will go off on its own anyways.

incision is abt one cm, if you are fair then the scar is obvious. u need to go to GP to remove the stitches after a week or so, u need to check with nara. the scar is the cut tat he needed to insert the canula, but there is no scarring from the stitches.

outter thighs 1 incision, inner thighs 1 incision, tummy 2 incisions (left and right frontal near hip bones). nara doesnt do calves/ knees.. to reduce calves, u need to do botox, however that means u will have weaker legs in time to come cos botox freezes the muscles. i wouldnt do tat so i dun think u shd even consider tat.. i hear some peeps go to taiwan to cut a nerve in the calves/legs so it shrinks teh calves muscles and yet doesnt affect the 'strength' in the legs..

hths..

Thks again Pootie!

would oso like to noe, after lipo...
does the incision oozes alot of blood or fluid?
we need to hv a gauze for it?
Will it be messy?

Actually my arms are ardy sagging (the area at armpits, they call it butterfly arms?) :(
i cant wear any sleeveless at all so i'm tinking if the skin really sag (which i'm praying hard it doesnt)..
i'll just hv to continue dressing the same like now (no spaghetti tops, tubes etc)..
Lipo can take away some inches, at least i can fit my arms into shirts..
(Eg: a G2000 shirt i tried... body fits nicely but i cant button at the sleeves! )

actually i read somewhr ppl wif stretchmarks shldnt do lipo cos the skin definitely will sag? Wat's yr view on tis?
I do hv stretchmarks...

Any other members with their personal opinions or experience to share regarding the stretchmarks issue??
