And they kept talking to each other in thai and they counted my stiches too. And one of the nurse kept asking me if i was worried about the scar left from the epi. And i told her that alot of singaporeans are going for it now and the scar will slowly fade away from what i know.
A few days after studying it, she told me that Dr Nara knows how to do it but he he only does it for people who needs it. She says that she wants us to know that what Dr Nara does not do, does not mean that he does not know how to do. But he chooses not to do it.
I told her and Dr Nara that if Dr Nara does all these, alot of ppl would go there to do instead of going else where to do so.

And btw, Dr Nara does Jaw botox too, cause he did it for me. Am rather happy with the results. My jaws are smaller. I did my frown lines too and they are gone now. So am a happy patient.

And btw, he does use ear cartilage for nose. But he only does it for accident victims. As for ribcage, he thinks its too major a surgery to go though just for nose.

And btw, I just came bk from liposuction from Dr nara and I would say that I can see a difference. So quite happy with it although I wish more could be taken out. And not much body weight lost. I was abt 56kg before. Only about 1kg plus of body weight lost.

I did Tummy, Love handles, Inner thigh, Outer thigh and Arms. Tummy was my first area and the most painful area. I cried during it. But subsequently the other areas were bearable and not painful.

Don't expect to be skinny. Dr Nara did tell me that he will just remove the areas that bulge out.

Hope this info helps.
Hi do you mind sharing your photos of before and after with us? Or just the result?
Hi, I did not take any before photos. And even if I did. Its quite personal to share.. Lol.. Hmm as for results, you definately won't be skinny. what it is supposed to help you achieve is a better shape. Like certain unsightly bulges that I used to have, have been reduced. I think for 5 areas I only had like abt 2litres taken out? In weight, I'm like only lighter by 1kg. But visually, I can see a difference.

By the way, lipo leaves awfully big bruises everywhere around the places I had it done. And its painful and sore. This is coming from someone who has a really high tolerance of pain. Considering I have done quite a number of other procedures. I would rate chin as most painful followed by lipo.
Hey My nemesis,

I thought inner/outer thigh consider 1 area and front/back thigh consider another 1 area? That is what Dr Nara told me and also the other forumers who've done it.

Any idea how come yours is seperated area?

By the way do you have compression garments?

I think most practices will consider inner / outer / front / back as 4 separate areas as it would require 4 separate incision points. That is what I've noticed so far ...

I didn't expect the arms to be considered as 1 area but i guess they are so small it really doesn't make sense to charge separately

Dr Nara sounds quite sincere and professional..

Will post when i am going, to look for buddies!

Into my 4th day now, couldn't log in last few days as the junior suite does not have any internet access. Sitting in the lobby accessing the Wifi now.

Reached Dr Nara's clinic last Friday at 11am but realise that Dr Nara only will come in after 12.30pm as he usually have opts until midnite. He came in at 12.45pm and I couldn't believe he is the famous PS that we have been talking about. I mean he looks so ordinary and simple in his dressing, I would expect more for a PS and he wears a flip flop instead of shoes

My first question to him was: "U do epi now huh!". He simply simile and asked me how I knew. After accessing my eyes and nose and said that I don't need alar but can also do it if I want. From addvark experience, I better get it done altogether.

Back to the clinic at 5pm, Amy asked me to put on the robe and shower cap and sitted in the waiting area for another hour before Dr Nara was free to do the final accessment. He still try to dissuade me from doing alar but I persisted. After accessing my eyes for 15mins, he suggested that I should do epi or else the result won't look good as my eyes are rather short in length. I asked him how high my creases and nose will be, he just reply it would be natural.

About an hour into the surgeries, I started to get awake. They kept having small conversations and laughter was endless while I was laying on the table feeling so helpless. 10 mins before the end of the surgeries, Dr Nara told me that he was famished. Finally it was all over at 10.30pm, Amy accompanied me back to the hotel as I did not bring enough money for the epi and on the way she told me they had two more surgeries to go. :o

I dare not step out of my room last two days as I looks like shit. Though my face still swollen but I can tell my eyes are very well done, he gave me a low taper crease and the epi really lenghten and sharpen my overall eye profile. :D

Hmm after looking at Kensan's eye photo, i realised one thing about the cutting method Nara does...

This is strictly for discussion..not saying that Nara is not doing a good job or Kensan has a bad surgery.

Nara, tends to cut very far out, extending outside the crease. This is done when you have down slanting eyes on the outside (sometimes they refer these to the "chinese figure of eight eyes") -> ( / . \ ).

He did that to give the eyes a up lifting effect so that both eyes are more parallel instead of slanting. -> ( ~ . ~ )

But because they extend outside of the crease, they are not hidden by the crease. My lines are still very obvious after 3 months post surgery..

Anyone had the same thing by Nara and the scars have healed completely and invisible?

One good thing about Nara is that he can tell what eyes suits you. He gave me high parallel with lateral flare..which is deem by Dr. Meronk as second most unnatural for asian...
But the eyes Nara gave me actually look very natural on me...Why?

I went for a haircut and the hairstylist thought i was of mixed parentage.
Into the conversation, i told her i went for double eyelid surgery.
She was very surprised..she told me she saw the scar (of lateral flare) at the end of my eyes but because the eyes look so natural that she thought that scar was a result of something else...

So do we stick to what we want or do we actually leave our fates to the doctor? I am still wondering if i would still look asian and better with the eyes i wanted...
But i am still keen to get rid of the scar..anyone any suggestions?

Anyway for reference, pple can check out this page
