prob wun wanna live too far from the clinic if u r going to nara, which is why we recommend lee gardens plaza hotel or novotel, since it's walking distance awaylooier wrote:For accomodation in Hatyai follow this link http://phil.uk.net/hatyai/accom.htmlbackwardscarousel wrote:Riding on the hotel post, I was wondering if anyone can give feedback regarding Indra hotel? So far, reading through the thread only a few commented about Indra, most forumers seem to stay at lee garden's plaza.. ): There isn't much info on Indra on the web as well.. Currently on a shoestring budget, that's why I'm considering Indra.

Hmm. Dr Nara has no more slots for Aug 3rd so I just made an appointment with Dr Putt.. And Dr Putt does tip & rhino at the same cost as rhino.
Anyone wanna come along? Dr Putt is really vague. I wish he could be a little like Nara.. Nara answers my questions promptly and specifically. Sighs.
And I reread through the threads. Still can't find the before, after photos.
daybreakk, can I add you on MSN to see your nose?

Oh, and everyone recommends where to stay for Dr Nara.. What about Dr Putt. Where should I stay that is near? Anyone knows how long can I remove the stitches after? Nara says 7 days for eyes, 5 for nose. Dr Putt ignores my questions as usual. I will be in Europe 1 week after surgery and don't really want stitches and a lot of swell on my nose and everywhere else.
hoho, u din read the thread thoroughly enuff, there is no way u r gonna look normal enuff 1 week laterlorelei wrote:Oh, and everyone recommends where to stay for Dr Nara.. What about Dr Putt. you can stay at kosit hotel or lee garden hotel (not lee garden plaza)lorelei wrote:Oh, and everyone recommends where to stay for Dr Nara.. What about Dr Putt. Where should I stay that is near? kosit hotel is opp dr putt clinic, while lee garden hotel is just 5 mins walking distance.
i never did my eyes... only nose with Dr Putt. you can choose not to remove the stiches since it is absorbable. my major swelling only last abt 2-3 days after which is not tt noticeable.
but if you are doing with eyes... then i guess 1 week is not enough.
I know I won't look normal 1 week later. It's about 1-2 weeks judging from what someone said. I'm hoping mine is 1.. I just need to know if I can remove the stitches within a week cos I dont wanna be walking around in stitches. Can I remove?aadvark wrote:hoho, u din read the thread thoroughly enuff, there is no way u r gonna look normal enuff 1 week laterlorelei wrote:Oh, and everyone recommends where to stay for Dr Nara.. I've read that the dissolvable stitches are not very good because each body reacts differently to them, which is why I want them taken off before I actually go elsewhere. Healthcare in Europe is pretty expensive when you're not a local..winter21 wrote:you can stay at kosit hotel or lee garden hotel (not lee garden plaza)lorelei wrote:Oh, and everyone recommends where to stay for Dr Nara.. Do you have your after photos? I saw the before.. or can I add you on MSN? Thanks!
don't bet on it, it's more like 9-10 days for most ppl, and even then it will look a little unnatural. fren did eyelids at yanhee, remove 6 days later. you shouldn't remove earlier, it's meant to hold the wound together if not wronglorelei wrote:I know I won't look normal 1 week later. My new nose.
So I took Grassland bus coach to hatyai.
16 hours.
Checked in to Novotel, showered, and then did some little sightseeing for photography.
Interesting place indeed.
Awesome food as well. Even the roti prata was different.
Their curry was sweet.
Not sweet like Japanese curry, but sweet-sourish with loads of turmeric kind.
Each tuk tuk trip costs 20baht per person.
I did my surgery with Dr Putt on the same day of my arrival in the evening.
Honestly, i had second thoughts about doing my nose when i saw 2 girls who were already in the clinic.
Their face were bloated, swollen with colourful bruises all over.
And one of them was complaining, pain pain pain.
The other was more cheerful.
The cheerful one smiled at me, and i thought she was cute, bloatness and all.
Dr Putt was a small man. I bet he was hotter when he was younger.
Maybe if he'd bother to dye his hair, he'd still look young.
He's nice too.
When I told him i wanted a 'farang' nose, he giggled.
He then asked me to smile, then he literally squeezed my nose, pushed the side of my nose upwards, I said, ow ow ow ow, and then he said,
' I can tell that your skin around your nose is thick. Super thick, and 'unstretchable'. You don't need alarplasty, but even if you wanted to, I wouldn't recommend it.'
He explained to me why, but i don't remember.
Since, it was too technical, too science-cy.
So I just said, Orh.
The surgery lasted less than an hour.
I went out to sightsee their streetlights by the time the surgery's done.
No drowsy feeling whatsoever.
My face was alike to a pufferfish the next day though.
my nose before.
my nose after.
the white hair in my nose aren't my nose hair. It's the stitches.
The incisions were done inside my nostrils.
There's bruises still.
I went back home the next day after surgery.
In the bus, someone's elbow hit my nose when he was doing that stretchingthing.
And it hurted like motherfarkingsmellyballs.
Not once, but twice.
The second time when he wanted to take out his luggage from the compartment above.
BAH!
Hatyai's a great place to shop, jeans only costs SG$8. No brands la, but they don't look tacky either!
People there were friendly.
I'd go there again, to shop shop shop.
but hopefully, minus the 16 hours bus ride.
I guess I'll post up picture of my nose in another month's time.
When the swelling's done.

Despite going through this thread many times, I could've missed it. Anyone done eyelid surgery with Dr Putt? I've heard and seen the good result for his rhinoplasty work but no info on eyelid surgery.
I've booked rhinoplasty and eyelid surgery with Dr Nara end June, now got second thought to go to Putt but I prefer to do both surgeries at one place instead of scrambling around between surgeries.
