Iniesta wrote:Hey guys,
Was reading through this forum when doing some research on a procedure I have decided to undergo. As this seems to be a very supportive community, I'll just ask whatever I wanted to ask without reservations
Firstly, the procedure I plan on undergoing is a gynaecomastia, or removal of man-boobs. Have been plagued with these critters from young even when I was slim, and they've got worse as I've aged and put on bulk and fats. So after reading about this procedure in the papers today, I was inspired to get rid of them for good (in Singapore). Then I remembered I had a getaway planned for end-June in Bangkok, so I decided to check out options there. Lo and behold, here I a
Some options I've checked out includes Yoskarn (
http://www.laser-surgery-bangkok.com/gynecomastia.htm) and Yanhee, but being a real newbie in the world of PS, I would really like the informed opinions and knowledge of the community here. Prime questions I have are:
1) Is gynaecomastia simply liposuction, or is it an entirely different procedure?
2)Does it have any significant risks, how much is the average cost?
3)The link I provided above states that it is a day surgery, so I can just walk into the clinic, get it done and then walk out right after?
4)Anybody with experience in this care to share their experience with me? Also, which doctor/clinic would the community here recommend for this procedure?
Thanks in advance

You can find extensive info about gynaecomastia trhough this link
http://exploreplasticsurgery.com/category/gynecomastia/
I can't help you with your other questions, doubt if anyone on this forum has experience with this procedure.
Good luck.

And i was thinking i can go to hatyai for the op and come back the next day like Brenton did.
I wanna ask for Dr nara's, will the eye stitches extend out ?
Cause my sis went to PAI for dbl eyelid as well but her stitches were sticking out from 4 sides of her eyes!
I dont wanna look like a freak when i pass the immigration :X
Will Dr nara encourage cold/hot compression on the eyes to reduce swell?
You will definitely look like a freak the day after you do your eyes. That one is guaranteed. Even at 1+ week post op the eyes will still be very swollen, like a fat worm above your eyes

Hahaha! I will look forward to that as well.
Anyone knows if the BA pictures on Dr. Nara's site are of implants that have already 'dropped'/settled or maybe still in the process of healing? (After comparing it with many healing-in-progress pics, they kinda look like they can still settle down further) Cause I was showing my boy the BA pics and he says they look fake

personally I think they look quite nice leh..

Yeah, true. I showed him pics without naming sources and he actually thought some real ones were fake and vice versa.

Anyway aadvark, when can we start consuming pineapple juice after surgery? Will it work with the meds Dr Nara prescribes or Sinecch? (Cause I know some meds cannot anyhow eat with other stuff.)

raw pineapple is better than the juice actually. i dun think pineapple affects the antibiotics, can ask dr nara whether there is anything u cannot eat.

It's 2 months after my surgery...
I would say my crease has went down more compared to the 1st month milestone.
Time is going very slowly as i am waiting for my 3rd month and 5th month to come...
It's so much easier when u just ignore it and not come to this thread to remind yourself...lol
But yeah, just to tell everyone i am good and gonna praise from pple that i look more alert, younger etc..
Now, just ignore and wait for more months to come ba...

I remembered reading something about needling done in thailand....
Can anyone advise me what's the best way to rid off all scars and pitholes caused by acne?
is laser or needling better?
I had tried AHA peeling and LHE, but both only helps to a certain extend, i am aiming at smooth skin..as in "poreless"...
Tired of having cousins commenting "your pores still so big...the facial you went useless la"

hehe, maybe u need a procedure to remove these cousins instead

Dermarollers, is that what you were referring to? I always thought laser and chem peel will be able to restore your skin, but may require countless sessions, depending how much bad it was
