Well you can wear.....but only when u r out...do not wear sunglasses or glasses when in hotel/at home
Thanks Brenton, I consider making a lightly tinted glasses to hide my eyes from my colleague and customers till it get better but read that not adviceable to wear glasses till 4 to 8 weeks later. :(

Can anyone advice if the implanted bridge be harden and feels like original bridge when fully healed? Will people be able to tell the different by touching?

Hi! I am new here.

Finally finish reading this 150 pages!! Gosh. Been following all the way, doing my homework because I will be doing Lipo! Probably in September 09.

I just call Nara to book appointment? If I call now is it too early? I want to do inner & outer thigh, calves, stomach, butt, lovehandles and arms. But not sure if Nara will reject some parts or not so how do I confirm on how many days I am going to book with him?

One area per day, should I just go ahead and book 3 or 4 days with him?

i was advised not to wear glasses also, but bobien, i did eyes and nose at same time. u def can't wear contacts with ur eyes that way. it was a little sore la, but not too bad... when i not reading or watching tv, i tried not to wear, but it's quite sad to be swollen and miserable for so long and still cannot watch tv or read a book

i din really get to read abt the rationale behind it... can someone explain why we can't wear specs? it's not like a light pair of specs can misshapen silicone thru ur skin and flesh...
Next: Forehead augmentation, botox, RF

I think it's to play safe ba, not every pair of spects is light...
and the skin is healing beneath, the pressure might affect the healing beneath and result in uneven healing?

For me, i thought if the spect is heavy, might pull the silicon down with gravity and result in a longer nose? or a slightly lower silicon position? just my point of view

Hmmm the package looks gd, but the price also not bad...lol
The reason why i heal faster and less swelling i think is because of the heap of vitamins and supplement i took. Thought it would be tough for the liver but i did it nevertheless.

Good thing about the package in the above link is that it is convenient, bad thing is the amt of vitamin you take is limited to what's contained in a capsule.

I bought most of the vitamin separately, so that i can control my intake totally.

Anyway it's good to prepare early...

I am heading out to buy silicon healing pad and scar reduction cream later.

BEWARE of FAKE Dr. Charan

Post by Route2Perfection » Thu, 16 Apr 2009 10:56 am

Dear all, BEWARE of FAKE DR CHARAN corresponding from [email protected]

I had just called up Bumrungrad International Hospital @ BKK at 10.20am. I wanted to speak to Dr. Charan but was being informed that Dr. Charan is not in the hospital until 16 Apr 09.

The reason i called up was because i have received suspicious emails from FAKE Dr. Charan responding from [email protected].

The nurse had informed me that Dr. Charan doesn't use this email to correspond with his patients. She also informed me that the doctor wouldn't request the patients to send money over.

What cause the suspicious was those words in RED, how can a doctor correspond differently in each email? Did he know it is unethical to do so especially with email?

Also why the hurry?

He didn't even reply me those info i request.

I had posted the emails

Dont get me wrong, as you have to make the $1,850 USD available has the half payment of the Zygoma, mandible reduction. You will have to be in the hospital for a week. Now i believe you understand me. If you are ready you can get back to me.

Hello Doctor Charan,

I haven't plan to go to which doctor yet. Right now i am still sourcing around.

I would be comfortable if you can provide info- procedure, post-surgery cares, recovering period, etc. Money is not an issue.

You have quoted U$3000 just for zygoma reduction, now you are giving me U$1850 for both surgeries. Very hard to believe this offer.

I have just sent an email to the hospital general email. I managed to get your email in a forum.

I want a smaller & refine face, therefore i am looking at zygoma & mandible reduction procedure.

Kindly give me your utmost honest opinion on the essential procedure to achieve the small & refine face i want.

Kindly also let me know how much is the cost for essential procedure, the post-surgery cares, etc.

Many thanks, Wei King

So how is your colleague reaction to your new look, huh?

This package offers a shortcut to those ppl (like me) that is lazy and clueless of what to take for better recovery. Always a price to pay for convenient  but will be worth if it really help to speed up the healing.
The tablet contains what pineapple got to offer so no need to drink so much pineapple juice, my stomach may not take it :D
Beside that I think just take more fruit lor ... but does durian help? Haha!
The eye mask is quite X but if using freezed cold compress eye pad the condense water may wet the wound.
Don't know if can apply the scar cream and the bruise cream at the same time?

glasses/sunglasses

Post by shika » Thu, 16 Apr 2009 12:06 pm

I did my own research on glasses/sunglasses since I'm also worried about my nose, plus my eyelids are still swollen. Hope it Helps!!!

Doctors Suggestions:

--You may wear your glasses lightly resting on your nasal cast or taped to your forehead. Please wear the lightest weight pair of glasses that you have.

--You may insert your contact lenses two days after surgery.

--After removal of your nasal splint at a week you should limit the time that you wear your glasses and continue to wear light-weight glasses.

--Do not wear plastic-framed glasses that rest all the way over the top of your nose. If you have very small “feet”

Thanks for informing us about it....Internet always full of spams and scams even thought it's also very informative

I was quite relunctant when Dr Pat asked for money to be sent over to him....but when i told him that i would only make my decision after face to face consultation, he told me then it's better not to send. Which i am glad about it as i did not even visit him in the end....

Nobody said anything to me or find anything weird at all...Guess it's an advantage of working a mostly male environment ba, no guy will observe another guy's face so closely ba...hahahaha

But one thing about cs, I think it will will affect your life and your fate.
I did noticed quite a few changes in the aspect of my life...

I think it is right to reject anyone who ask for money before you meet them face to face.

What if in the end you are not going to them? I don't think they will refund the money to you. :x

As the zygoma & jaw reduction are major surgeries, so i am going to well-experienced doctors such as Dr. Park from Korea or Dr Charan from Bkk. I will call Dr. Charan tomorrow as he will be back to hospital.
