Just came back from my PS trip.
Been to Dr. Putt for rhinoplasty.
Wed
Traveled to bkk by jetstar, followed by airaisa to Hatyai. After that, i tried to find the taxi stand but i cant locate it, and the people there dont speak english. i gave up and took a cab to lee garden plaza hotel at a fix price of 300. it will take around 20-25 min. At around 530pm, i walked to his clinic. its a very long walk, about 15 minutes. ( i suggest to anyone to stay at a nearer hotel if you are choosing Dr putt)
He came late at 6 and told me he need to fly to bkk at 9pm despite my appointment with him. I was like........ Anyway, he gave me a brief but quite detail explanation on how is the process done, what to expect and what are the things to avoid. I requested for alar but he replied that there wouldnt be much changes. i respected his expertise and so i just go ahead with the rhino.
A jab and some pills to go before the operation. Before i fell asleep due to the sedation, i heard him saying this to me at least 10 times: "dont worry, no more pain from now on." And he was right.
After the operation, i 'miracally' got back to my hotel with my shoe off and contact lens off. i had absolutely no memories of removing them myself, the sedative is strong i guess.
Thu
swell at the bridge. no pain unless u exert pressure on your nose.
Medication wise, i 've got sleeping pill, anti-biotic and pain killer prescribed by Doctor. I bought sinnech, and pineapple juice from the supermarket bought at the building right opposite the hotel, its at the basement.
I fly back to bkk, not a good idea to fly one day after surgery. upon landing, my nose start to bleed a little, i scared the little boy that sit beside me. LOL.
Fri
The swell extends to the eyes. I look like a freak. i dun dare to go out cuz its not halloween.
Sat
the swell diminished, except the eye bag area where u can see red stain. (it juz looks like u didnt get to sleep for 2 days) you can vividly see the shape of the nose.
i fly back to to singapore at night.
P/S : those who've been to Dr putt, dont u think that he look like the thai king when he is younger?
