Yes, you can find a doctor to remove the stitches for you back in Singapore. There are a ton of plastic surgeons in Mount Elizabeth Hospital.
normal clinic cant remove?? only plastic surgeons?
can any GP can remove, please take some time to read through the thread as homework, there is a lot of precious information. it's your own face after all...

Hi Brenton,

Sorry couldn't reply you on pm as I am still a newbie.

I've been reading through the threads from Pg 1 and I am getting increasingly overwhelmed by the choices!

On the one hand, Dr Nara seems to be good and affordable, but he doesn't perform tip-plasty and I do want my nose tip to be more refined. However, I also read that an L-shaped implant will also make one's nose pointier at the end, and Dr Nara does perform the regular L shaped implant. I am also not sure if I need alarplasty. I also read about Dr Pat from Tokai Clinic but his price list doesn't seem so state what nose augmentation/implant involves.

Please advise, thank you!

Don't need doc to remove stitches, any nurse can do.

I removed stitches from face lift myself, is easy, just cut thread, doc showed me how and gave me disposable knive. No big thing.

I emailed Dr Pat my picture and asked for his suggestions ... he replied nose augmentation / implant cost of USD 600 includes implant and tip refinement.

But he also suggested I take up chin implant (USD 800) to balance up with the rhinoplasty. :o

As for Dr Nara, the assistant who replies my emails does not seem to know what I am asking and is not able to give an expert cosmetic opinion. When I ask her to forward my email to doctor she just keeps replying "See you".

So now I'm not sure whether normal L-shaped implant is OK for me or whether I will look better with a sharper nose which might look artificial?

Any advice please?

Brenton : Can please pm me your msn? Thanks

pm-ed you...

The nurse can only advice what service is been offered there i assume.
Dr will be the one suggesting how to do.

Regarding Dr Pat, i might be doing nose reduction plus implant, which he quote me USD 800, dunno if there's any difference. In my opinion, just do what you think is necessary and know when to do, otherwise, it will go on forever. I am starting to explore and see what can be done more even though i have not even did anything. It's more addictive than i realised it would be.

Set a target and be contented i guess....

Hi, I had been asking Dr Pat questions from the day i decided to do ps till now, and he is still answering my queries. I dun think he will not do it just because you asked too many questions.

nara seldom replies his own email, esp not when his schedule is packed, so sometimes the replies seem gibberish. the stnd of english in hatyai is apparently much lower than in bangkok

why dun u post a pic of ur nose, front and side? some of us have seen enuff noses to know if L implant can make much of a diff

for me, i am striving to bring all my features to a higher level, b4 targeting certain ones for revision. doesn't make sense to have the perfect nose, while u still have avg everything else.... but that's my own feel, many ppl feel differently :)
Next: Forehead augmentation, botox, RF

Thanks Aadvark.

Just got an email from Nara, surprisingly quick ... he advised against tip-plasty as he says will have obvious scar.

Also would like to ask, how long does it take from Hatyai Airport to the clinic and what's the best way to get there?

Thanks!
