i may wanna go around july or aug too! wanna do cheekbone reduction...but still haven't emailed dr charan. anyone gg to dr charan?

He has his own clinic in bumrungrad. Maybe can search under doctors in bumrungrad? I have his email if you want.

His charges would be somewhere in between USD 2000-3000 if i do not remember him quoteing me wrongly!

I'm going to Nara during 27th March. Anyone going too? I've decided on getting a chin implant..i'm contemplating a nose job, should I? and anyone who has done chin implant before, may I know how is the recovery process like?

I don't think my nose is infected, just that at the side of the bridge I can see red mark. And it only appear after one month plus, and I have waited for another month to let the red mark go off. But it doesn't seem to go away. I have been putting on make-up to cover the mark... And I do not wish to continue putting thick make-up, just to cover the mark.

I can also feel a bit tight/ pain around my eye area when I blink... So I believe it is too high for me. At first I love my nose job, but don't know why after two months, things change. I guess the swell have came down and I can see the silicon implant, really obvious around my bridge... Look so fake. Haha, so I have decide to go to Nara to redo. Cos I saw my friend whom did with Nara(her implant was done 4 years ago) and still look very nice and natural. (high but natural, cannot see the silicon at all) You should know what I mean, something you can really tell a person after their nose job. But some, you are just making guess because the nose is sharp and high.

nara's qtns are meant to determine whether u r suffering from an infection which might be the reason why it's still red/swollen. other symptoms, is it painful to touch the bridge or tip? do u get pus/thick mucus flowing out even till now? if yes to all the qtns, then u have an infection. if so, u'd better go to a doc for antibiotics, and hope the infection goes away, else u will have to remove the implant.

in case u think awry, infections occur not becos the doctor is not good or his tools are unclean. sometimes the body just cannot heal properly and will result in an infection, just like why we succumb to the flu bug.

nevertheless, the bridge will reach a estimated final shape in 6 mths' time. for me, i wld say the shape finally stopped changing after a yr. from day 1 of the op till final shape, i wld say the bridge height went down by 1/3, but of cos it varies from person to person

Hi everyone

Thought I'd share my experiences. I've had augmentation rhinoplasty and chin implant done with dr niwet at siam swan 15 months ago. I am very happy with the results and recovery was bearable without any complications. Friends have commented on how amazingly well done it was. However, what he didn't fix was the angle of my nose (it would be a complex surgery) and it is still very upturned which is why I am considering a revision.

I am planning to have my revision done together with upper eyelid surgery in August. I was gonna go back to dr niwet but have just realised how much cheaper prices in hatyai are. How reliable and good is dr nara? Anyone planning to get something done around August?

the coach is suppose to be from sg to hatyai, not bkk to hatyai
