Have a few questions to ask, and hope the people can help me.

How long does one need to stay there after surgery?

let's say Upper Blepharoplasty, do we need to wait for a week to have Dr Nara remove the stitches?

What about Rhinoplasty? Normally the nose would be set in a cast and removed a week later from what i read in other webpages...

so the minimum stay over there is about a week??

Can't just go home a few days after the operation?

Anyone went to Anga in jb before? heard it's quite cheap and good too, but not as cheap as Dr. Nara la....
I had rhinoplasty in Yanhee about 2 years back and was in BKK for a week.
But all the doctor did during my follow-up was just to take pictures of my nose and that's it.
I don't know about anyone else but if I knew that's all that the doctor will do during the follow-up, I wouldn't stay in BKK for a week...

never heard of anga, got website?
u dun need to stay a week, u can remove ur eyelid stitches bk in sg at a GP. but u prob wun want to fly the next day, too swollen to see properly, better to rest till 3rd day b4 u leave.

no cast, just stitches inside ur nostrils. that's assuming u r doing rhino implant. if u talking abt reduction (which nara doesn;t do by the way) then yes, u will have a cast

Hi aadvark, Want to ask you if you got encounter this when you did your nose with Nara. Or anyone of those whom did their silicon implant have experience this?

I did my nose with puttisak, about 2 months.
because the bridge area was higher than my first nose job in Singapore, I do not have this experience before. I can feel around the bridge area, there is a bump. Very hard to describe, it is soft and one side is bigger than another.

I would like to know how long do I need to wait for the final result to set in? I ask Puttisak, he said about 4 weeks, the swell will be gone. So why there is a bump around the bridge area. somemore one side more obvious than another side. Is it because he never shape the silicon properly?

Please help.
Sum

After reading many of the ravings on dr nara, dr pat.
I am thinking of going this march for alarplasty and double eyelid.
Could anyone please tell me which doctor has got a better skill for alarplasty and double eyelid incision.

Those who have done it with them, do recommend and tell me your experiences.
Thank you:)

Hmm since so many pple are satisfied with what was done at Dr. Nara, i think i would rather fly there and do it since it's so much affordable...

I am 26 but a lot of pple think i look 32 :(

Droopy eyes give other pple the impression that i am sleepy all the time.
And i am tired of having to explain that i am not sleepy lor
Consultation at TLC says i would need to reduce my nose too...

Too bad Dr. Nara do not do nose reduction - I have a jackie chan nose :(
AT least Dr. Nara is honest and straightforward by replying in my email that they are not familiar with nose reduction and thus wun be doing it.

That's when i decided to go there and do it since they are not the type that push everything and say everything also gd and can do.

Now is the match the promotion flight period to appointment period.

aadvark, thanks for your info. :)
So we just fix an appointment and Dr Nara will do it on that same day? dun need to decide on how and what to do then do it on another day?

Pinkyice, thanks for the info too...Yanhee would be another place to consider since Dr Nara dun do reduction.
Read that most asian need nose implant and yet i need reduction :(

Think it's better to do the nose another time right?
Maybe after Dr Nara, my eyes will be bigger and my big nose will be in harmony? lol

I understand it would be better to show a picture. As i was hoping to get some advice from the people who experienced ps.
I have this forehead that is a little squashed up and it makes me look a little weird.

I am planning to go to dr nara after much contemplation for double eyelid, but i was wondering does dr nara do forehead lift.
I haven seen her gallery with real pictures, so i was wondering does anyone know?

I really do hope that it will start recovering and start shrinking more till i dun feel the implants in my mouth any more. *fingers crossed*

btw, anyone knows of a cheap and good place to get braces done? dun mind even if it's in JB :)
hmm i'm doing my braces at NUH.. undergraduate doctor (actually graduates but they are on probation in NUH dentistry) who is supervised by the profs. price is like $2500 (excluding tooth extractions and x-rays)

you have a price range you are looking for?

my colleague does at paragon. expensive, but it takes a shorter time- she took out her braces after 1 yr 2 mths.

not much help, but still let me know if you need any other information for NUH/ paragon orthodontist :)
Hey, do you need to wait for a very long time, like the government one?

You need to change the shape of your eyebrow...it is a major problem in your case.

You might like to consider changing the shape of your eyebrow before your plastic surgery procedures.

I am very certain that altering the shape of your eyebrow will change how you look!!!

Hi, is that ur usual hairstyle? I think simple tricks like cutting bangs will hide the flaws. An arch eyebrows will oso make u look alot better. If u really wanna ps ur forehead perhaps an forehead implant? Im not any professional, just giving u some opinions :)

I stayed in bkk for like close to 2 weeks when i did my rhIno and alarplasty by dr greechart
overall its pretty okay. follow up he removed the dissolvable stitches though he said it would dissolve by itself . he mentioned tt removing would be better. i guess one tHing abt yanhee is that everytHing is fast fast. come and go. during my consultation he didnt tell me very much but outcome isn't too bad.scars were super minimal almost scarless.
but i guess for pple who are choosing yanhee one thing u must note is that they dun provide u super a lot of time. cos its like factory based. haha one patient in one patient out. but i am happy with the results.
