As of now after 19 days, my swelling on the bridge has gone down but it still does look unnaturally high, with the "bird-like" effect. And the tip of my nose is more swollen and rounded, not sharpish at all. And when i tilt my head to the sides or look upwards to the sky, i can feel the implant weighing down a little.
I overall did not look like i had a good nose job but in fact it looks more huge & round at the tip and higher at the bridge as though it doesnt suit my face.
As my nose is already small to begin with, has a little of bridge before, so i am afraid that its due to the implant from dr nara that is too big and doesnt fit in my nose, so even if the swelling has gone down the implant still remains at that size unfit to my nose (with the bridge too high and tip too round). I know that the final shape will take place from 6 months to a year but i am afraid it might not and be this way due to the unproportion of my nose to implant. Any advice from those who gone through that stage as well? Aadvark or anyone. TIA
19 days means u only just got rid of your obvious swelling. your bridge will be unnaturally high, and ur tip will still be huge. u will feel the whole job is botched. but BE PATIENT...
i think many forumers have had the same sentiments, and so did i. dun bother looking in the mirror till at least one mth later, and even then it will still look slightly odd. 3 mths is the minimum to achieve any sort of 'natural' look
just to reassure urself that it is shrinking, take a pic of ur nose every 2 weeks, then u will be able to check the progress
