i'm considering Dr Pat for my nose, and for rhinoplasty with alar and tipoplasty, he'll be charging me a total of USD$2000.

implant - USD$600
tip - USD$800
alar - USD$600

Is that the standard price, or is that more that it actually is?
i've no idea as to how much he usually charge, but would anyone consider this as 'normal' or would it be considered as overcharging already?

heh.

thank you in advance for the replies.

Regards,
Lane.
U can actually try asking for discount. Dr pat might be able to give u a cheaper price if u are able to send a deposit of US$200 to his paypal acc. Try asking him, its no harm anyway.
spoke to inferno recently, showed me pix of his tipoplasty result with dr pat, wasn't good. but when i first went with lazy, hers was pretty ok. i dunnoe to recommend dr pat for tipoplasty or not, cos not enuff ppl have done it enuff to gather any stats...

addvark, I have to agree with u. I did not see any much difference in my tip, it might be because i dont have a button nose to begin with. My nose does looks smaller, but i find that my alar looks kinda unbalance. From a bottom's view I can even see obvious marks that it wasnt proportionate(I dont really know how to describe but I can really see something is not right). I dont have such problems b4 ps. I hope it will continue to heal although it has been 3 months already. If by the 6th month it still look this way i might be asking Dr pat to do a revision for me.

I'll be heading hatyai in a week time with 2 other forumer. I will be doing lipo in 3 areas. Hope all turn out well. Will be staying at novotel, anyone can tel me how much taxi/tuk tuk should roughly cost getting from my hotel to Dr nara's

looking at dr nara's map on his website, Novotel is just opp the road from Lee Gardens Plaza Hotel which is less than 5min walk from dr nara, so it's walking dist to dr nara

I think lazy, inferno, me and furly angel did nose inclusive of tipoplasty at dr pat. Im not sure if there are more, maybe can post before/after? actually tipoplasty results are not very obvious one, have to do with rhinoplasty or alarplasty usually.

I got back from hat yai after my rhinoplasty for more than 2 weeks and went about my visiting during my cny. only a few more observant ones noticed and questioned about my nose but the rest generally felt i looked different.

As of now after 19 days, my swelling on the bridge has gone down but it still does look unnaturally high, with the "bird-like" effect. And the tip of my nose is more swollen and rounded, not sharpish at all. And when i tilt my head to the sides or look upwards to the sky, i can feel the implant weighing down a little.

I overall did not look like i had a good nose job but in fact it looks more huge & round at the tip and higher at the bridge as though it doesnt suit my face.
As my nose is already small to begin with, has a little of bridge before, so i am afraid that its due to the implant from dr nara that is too big and doesnt fit in my nose, so even if the swelling has gone down the implant still remains at that size unfit to my nose (with the bridge too high and tip too round). I know that the final shape will take place from 6 months to a year but i am afraid it might not and be this way due to the unproportion of my nose to implant. Any advice from those who gone through that stage as well? Aadvark or anyone. TIA

Does anyone know whether there is any kind of surgery to make the calves smaller in Thailand? Genetically 'blessed' with huge muscular calves. Read lipo on calves does not work on asians as well as it does on caucasians.

Does anyone know what the cost of an ( upper lids only ) bleroplasty with Dr. Nara? I'm a droopy-eyed caucasian. Just a range or a guestimate would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

hey,
I had a face lift done with bleroplasty with dr. Nara last January. I have posted the pictures.

I paid 6000 baht for the bleroplasty and very happy with the results.
Operation takes about 1 hour.

19 days means u only just got rid of your obvious swelling. your bridge will be unnaturally high, and ur tip will still be huge. u will feel the whole job is botched. but BE PATIENT...

i think many forumers have had the same sentiments, and so did i. dun bother looking in the mirror till at least one mth later, and even then it will still look slightly odd. 3 mths is the minimum to achieve any sort of 'natural' look

just to reassure urself that it is shrinking, take a pic of ur nose every 2 weeks, then u will be able to check the progress
