I finally have my lipo and nose done wif doc nara over the last x'mas.. Initially i went hatyai wif the idea of getting my nose done by Dr Putt and lipo by nara... but in the end after consultation and due to time constraint i ended up doing both wif nara.

On the 25th

2pm:
i visited Dr Nara, his patients is soOo many and his clinic was packed wif patient. I consult him in the afternoon and have my appointment book for 2 days as i'm doing 2 area on the thighs.

5pm:
i when to Dr Putt he suppose to meet up wif me at 5pm but i waited for about an hour.. Maybe because it is raining heavily out there.. He finally came about 6.05pm :x . He give me a brief description of the procedure and how can he enhance my nose to make it look difference. He say that a minimum bridge can change my nose completely as i'm previously w/o nose bridge. I can say that Dr Putt is a humble and detail Dr. In the end I make an appt wif him again on the 27th 5pm.

7pm:
I started off wif outer thighs followed by inner thighs. I wake up about 20min b4 the whole session end. Meaning to say I'm conscious when Nara is stitching me up. This might not happen to everyone i guess. After the lipo rest for about an hour in the consultation room before leaving the clinic.

on the 27th:
I did the outer thigh wif nara. supposingly the surgery start at 2pm but his nurse keep changing the timing again n again.. So in the end i ended up in the clinic for solid 4hr to get my lipo done.. on the other hand i had an appointment wif Dr Putt to do my nose.. So i ask Dr Nara wife when can what time can i finish the whole process as i have another appt. After Dr Nara knew that i have an appt wif Dr Putt he told me that if time is running out he can also help me wif my nose. He assure me his skill and experience and tell me the diff between Dr Putt and him. Due to time constraint, i decide to Nara a try since everyone is complimenting his work.. So i ended up in the clinic from 2.30pm to 10pm  ..

Overall experience of lipo is fine.. i can still go around shopping but movement are kinda restricted as u cant move too vigorously with the stitches on.. one thing to keep in mind, do not wear light colour clothe after lipo cause you might not know when the fluid will over flow from ur lipo area.. I wear a white skirt and in the end it look like i have Mxxxxx, but that probably cos i walk too much after the lipo.. even when i went back to the hotel it flow all over the floor and it look like a murder scene.. OMG  ... The bruise on the leg look much like been bang all over...

After 1-2 week the bruise will be more or less gone and it will not look as terrible as b4.. but the soreness can still be felt... As for the result i cant give a very definite answer yet as research say that it take 3month for the whole result to take place.. Afterall i do like my little nose bridge ya..
Hi, Niew,

After reading all your detail information, may I also ask, when did you put on your compression garment after your lipo? Because you says that the fluid will flow out, so its not good to wear it right after the surgery?

I did send email to ask Dr. Nara, the nurse replied saying that I could wear it after 2 - 3 days. I'll be there for 1 week plus. So it is better for me to bring my compression garment there right?

I'm doing 3 part, inner thigh, lower arms and tummy, so i'm buying 3 types of compression garment.

Hope to hear from you. Thanks

the chin will def elongate the face and make the cheeks less chubby. i've done it twice and i can attest to that effect :) do ask nara if he has a wing implant rather than the button implant. cos the button implant is small and sharp, which may end up making ur face look top-heavy which was what i encountered. if he doesn't, discuss with him abt a larger implant, cos u dun want an overly feminine chin

for nose, alarplasty will narrow the nostrils and effectively make the 2 lines around the mouth shallower, giving a younger appearance. it will also push the tip up slightly, so it wun be pulled down when u smile.
ur bridge looks fine, so up to u whether u think u need an implant ;)

and finally, good luck! hope you look fantastic after the op :D
thanks so much aadvark. U advise would be a great help in explaining to dr nara what i wanted. But i am abit confused with the alar thingy. Cos i was thinking of doing tiplasty to jus raise the tip. Is it the same thing? hmm .. thanks again! :)
tipoplasty is to reduce and refine the tip. nara doesn't do tipoplasty, but his L implant does extend the tip and make it pointier. alarplasty is akin to the effect u get when u pinch ur nose; the nose is narrower while the tip is slightly raised.
Hi aadvark,

Thanks so much for your advise. It was of great help. Nara though did not really satisfy most of my queries but he's nice. I've done my chin and had just removed the stiches today. Hope I will be able to see the results soon. The first two days the chin really lengthened the whole face which is good albeit being bit swollen. Now, the chin has gone back to almost normal ahha.. more natural (but i was expecting more).

Hi,

u no need to buy 3 diff garment.. you can buy high waist long knee compression garment.. you can try either on ebay or makemeheal.. that time i saw from ebay is much cheaper but wat out of stock so i bought mine from makemeheal. the brand is rainey plus shippin is about 130 if i'm not wrong.

2-3days is ok.. the fluid wil stop the next day normally. and even if u put on the garment you can put a gauze pad on the lipo area to prevent ant discomfort..

on the 1st day normally the bruise wont b tat obvious so on the 2nd day if wil all appear.. don worry your garment wil not cos u any discomfort..

are u going alone??

Thanks Niew, it's really useful information. I'm going there with my friend, she is doing her Otoplasty. So we going to stay there for a week. Hope I could carry my bag after the lower arm ops. So I think I better start sourcing for the garment. May I know, which part did you do your lipo? :P

Oh, you wearing it only at night? but did you feel the changes of your thigh? Mine is a lot access inner part, I could see lumps fat, thats why I really need to do this. Other wise I would consider.

Oh ya. the nurse email back to me, saying that I can't take any medicine 1 month before the ops. But i'm having fever and flu now. I think shouldn't be any problem la hor.

I should email the nurse and check? Sorry for so much question. :P

Hi aadvark,

Thanks so much for your advise. It was of great help. Nara though did not really satisfy most of my queries but he's nice. I've done my chin and had just removed the stiches today. yes i did only chin. I wanted to do something to my nose and i mentioned alarplasty. Then Dr Nara came up with a long description on how Singaporeans like to mention alar when we asians do not need it (he even mentioned there is no such thing as alar, so weird cos apparently his website did state that he does alar). Then he went on to explain the difference between the thickness of the skin between caucasians and asian and went on to say alar is the same as rhino. I was not too convinced so i decided not to do it for now as I do not think i needed an implant cos i am happy with my bridge. I jus needed my tip done. I guess it would be more expensive right if i decide to do it in BKK or somewhere else sometime in the future. Seems that the doctors in Hatyai don't do alar, not sure abt Dr Putt tho, by the time i reached his clinic it was closed.
For the chin, i thought he could have done more, maybe i will post some pictures after two weeks for the before/after/and 2 weeks after pictures.

lol, nara actually does alarplasty, cos i did it with him. but i noe he throws this shroud of confusion over the patient when he feels the patient does not need it. that's just his way of telling u u dun need alarplasty.

actually it's the opposite of what you said. A bigger nose makes the cheeks less prominent
