after chin revision, i cld see what implant dr nara used, which is a button implant. Dr Pat (Tokai) used a wing implant. i suspect the button implant is meant for creating a sharper profile. Not sure what Dr Putt uses

Please help ^_^

I am going down to Hat Yai soon and I have to book accommodation. Some hotels were mentioned in the thread, Lee Gardens being the most popular one, some others mentioned Novotel and Indra. Please post a very basic reply which hotel should be the most preferred, or anything at all.

Novotel:
yes? no?
price?

Indra:
yes? no?
price?

Lee Gardens:
yes? no?
price?

I remember reading that Lee Gardens is about 50SGD... is that right? And someone mentioned something about haunting at a certain Lee Gardens... which is it? Apparently there are two... I would like to say I don't believe in things like that but unfortunately I am predispose to weird happenings, and I have been proven wrong and so I would like to avoid events...

Or anyone with other experiences with other hotels; please post it here and list the price if you can. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you ^_^

According to previous posts by fellow sgexpats people.. indra is rather run-down and almost like a budget motel (think hotel81), lee gardens is much better.

on a side note, what procedures you gonna do, feline.eyes?

Honestly as long as it is haunting free, clean, safe... I am happy if it is really basic. I am a backpacker kind of girl and prefer the budget choices and spent it on other things more worthy. Though I have to emphasise the clean, safe and haunting free part again, because they are important requirements... basic does not have to be dirty, and slightly more upscale might not be clean either...

I am getting the alarplasty ^_^

I'm paying for 2 nights stay at Lee garden with coach ride (to and fro included) for 200 ish... (can't recall at the moment). Hope it helps. I'm not sharing room by the way, so would be more expensive i guess.

Thanks aadvark.

I just emailed Dr Putt and he replied saying he dosen't think i need the chin implant. I would definitely like to consult both doctors first but Dr Putt is only free for consultations after 5.30pm weekdays (which will already be too late). I think I would just go ahead with Nara, any idea why both have differing views ??? hmm, and also Nara's email was replied by someone called Amy, i am a little not too convinced by her judgment tho, anyone got a reply from her before too???.. but i would really like a longer profile!!

Post up your pic here with eyes censored if you want our opinion loh :D

Because plastic surgery is more art than science, you are bound to get differing opinions among doctors.. and it's hard to say who's right in absolute terms. There is no black and white in beauty, you know what they always say: beauty is in the eyes of the beholder

I am also considering going to Dr. Suthat. How did you surgery go? How does your nose look? I am looking for a doctor at Yanhee that is very experience with doing rhinoplasties on Caucasian people and it is very necessary that the look is subtle and natural. Do you think Dr. Suthat is the best doctor for these goals? Also, did he do computer imaging during the consult to show you what your nose would look like?

Fat transfer to breast

Post by lotion » Sat, 10 Jan 2009 1:54 pm

Hi all, i went for Fat transfer to breast on Dec 08 at SP Clinic. costs me 1500 USD. I was super flat like 32AA ( i dun even fill up 32A bra) and i sort of like wear "kids" bra which is quite depressing...

anyway, service is great. transfer from hotel to clinic provided. However, doc can only increase me to 1 cup. he said my breast is too flat so increasing it too much like to B cup is not suitable as the breast might not be able to support the fats (dunno how true).

after op it became 34A (due to swelling) but its 32A now (i guess the fats got reabsorbed a little and the swelling reduced).

i was unconscious during the op.
one stitch on bra line, buttock and thighs on each side. total one stich on 6 areas.

can walk as normal after that, but abit slow due to the swelling the thighs.the thighs will become blue black due the lipo of fats i guess.

im still not satisfied. 32A only...dunno shud go for silicon or go for next fat transfer.

Hi all,

its my 3rd day after surgery at TOKAI CLINIC with Dr.Pat.

i did Rhinoplasty and Dr.Pat did a little tip-plasty as well.
he charged me 800USD for everything.

The operation.
i woke up 20mins before it ended, i could feel what they were doing but was wayyy too drowsy to be shocked and all.

*just remember to ask Dr.Pat to let you sleep longer*

After-Op
I rested for about an hour before i left. my mom was with me so i was fine.
one thing though, i didnt have the splint or cast over me.

i'm really worried about shifting of the implants now.

Day 3
went for check up today. Dr.Pat says everything is ok
but since i'm leaving tomorrow, if the implants shift sent a picture to him or adjust it myself.

I will post up pictures when the swelling is better ^_^.

HELP NEEDED:
IF my implants shift before day 10. which doctor should i go to in Singapore to get it back in place before it totally sets and is fixated on my nose?

Lipo at Dr Nara

Post by Jun2009 » Sat, 10 Jan 2009 9:41 pm

Hi ladies,

Would appreciate those who have done lipo at dr nara for some reviews and ans some of my enquires before i visit him in thai.

1 ) Is dr nara doing vaser liposelection? or traditional liposuction?

2) If its liposuction whats the healing time like? Can i return to work or return to normal activites by 5 days?

3) Is he professional? like how is his clinic ? is the procedure safe?

I am thinking of doing liposelection in singapore but due to the extract limit and the cost is around 5000 . Thinking of getting other options if able to . Thanks alot if any one can help

suuz wrote:My LIPOSUCTION at Dr Nara

On july 15th i went to HatYai and went into Dr Nara's office.
He was so surprised to see me he looked at me in complete disbelief.
Me very white and red hair, 83 kilo's at the time 174 cm long, but a large and chunky woman...he could not believe i stepped into his little clinic.
Wanted to know how i got to know abot him.
Though the last day there was another caucasian woman smiling at me when she was waiting for treatment...but who knows she might be living in Thailand.

So i had 4 area's done.
The first day my lovehandles/hips were done. (the sequence has to do if you have to like use your tummy to be swapped in with iodine- of you have done the tummy forst then it will be too hard)
So...uhmm i asked i didn't want the sedative. Nara was very surprised, and he sort of liked that i didn't want the drug, still he insisted every time i took it so at the 3rd operation i didn't fight it anymore. Just asked for a slil as possible.
And so it was not without pain... Almost every area there was pain when he (actually it was Ning, his wife who did all the lipo) reached the far away part (far away from the anestetic)- gosh sometimes i needed to swear a bit because it was painfull...

I had done:
day 1- Hips/lovehandles (aprox 1 liter of fat)
day 2 -Belly (mostly lower and a little of the upper- up to within the line of my ribs) (aprox 0,5 liter of fat)
day 3 - outside thighs (but there is still some left were the bumm comes out a bit- i asked for this to make it more natural- it looks good, but i now want all the fat gone...) (aprox 1,5 liter of fat)
day 4 - and a little on the back upperwaist and the back near the shoulderblades/backrolls (done on one day as one area but with 2 extra incisions) - (aprox 0,5 liter of fat)

The amount of fat i sort of guessed on the amount of white stuff in the fluid and i asked Nara how much he thought it was .

After the last operation 6 days later the last stitches where removed (On Bali) and i asked for a scale, as i felt 10 kilo's lighter...
I was 80 kilo's so the 3 liters of fat was gone. But i felt like i was 72 kilo's... And i look like that.

Now it is august 6th, about 8 weeks later, and i still look great! I weigh about 78 kilo's, an my size went from (european) 44/46 to 42, (US) 14/16 to 12. Lost 3-5 kilo's of pure fat. I want to be a size US 10 again... (don't need to be an 8 or less but with a 10 i would feel very good!)

I started out with a girdle XL, and after an XL with zippers, an XL without zippers, i am now in an L without zippers. I will wear it for at least another month as i still feel my skin has to heal a bit.

I was most worried about my belly. After surgery it was completely hanging loose. It took a week before it was attached to me again...and i had a very numb area, i realised it is sometimes bruised by clothes i wear so after that i gave it morte space and took more care. It was bruised and the blue color went away (this was after 1 month)

I still have a sometimes painful twitch in my areas that are treated. And as i reach my sides feel painful still. There are some hard underneath the skin areas (like scarry underneath or hard meat)

I look great!

And...eventhough i cannceled the appointments in august (as i felt i just needed to heal more before more surgery...it was just a lot to take i felt tired for 2 weeks...) I want to go back to do
bumm (i have a sagging hanging fat bumm)
inner thighs (inside, front a bit and back a bit)- probably 2 areas.
knees inside area.

The area is largely dependent on the size of the area as he uses a certain amount of lidocaine and this makes his areas quite small.
The scarrs heal nicely btw you hardly see them. They use a large amount of liquid, every time there was about 2,5 liters of fluid in the bowl. I did feel like i entered a "pre WOII eastern european'clinic (in eastern europe you can still find the old clinics that had no alterations whatsoever) where the bowl is glass, and they even used a glass siringe once to give the the sedative... But old material does not mean bad, as it is usually very good quality, it just looks oldfashioned.
I did feel uncomfortable at times as i am there naked on my knees and hands...whith my behind to them and the girls -who i do find very friendly- giggled...(gosh a white vagina must look very different...)
Nara did say i HAD to wear a girdle for 2 months, so i don't understand why anybody would think he is against girdles. And even between surgerys i was so happy to have my zippered girdle, otherwise i would have been scared to go outside, if the skin is that loose...It was my bandaid all the way up to now.
Nara was reluctant to do the 4th area the back brarolls...as he said there would not be much difference...i said it was a very visible area and it would matter to me, and he finally agreed. I was just very decisive...I did ask him upfront if he was actually saying he did not wanted to do the procedure...and this sort of persuaded him as i said i did want it done.

I am happy i did it - the back brarolls- as it is an area i would maybe not come back for...but the bumm i will target once...and to look younger (i am 39) it is rather inportant to be slim on the top of your body.

if you have any question (i am not posting any pictures) please let me know.

strictly speaking, traditional liposuction is banned around the world. The older approved method u r prob referring to is tumescent liposuction. dr nara and dr pat both does tumescent lipo. depending on which area u do, if it can be covered by clothes, u can def return to work in 5 days' time
