yes, incision is from inside the mouth, to prevent any probable scarring from external. definitely gonna be uncomfortable. whether it'll be too painful to eat will depend on individual threshold. Nothing can get between me and my food :D

heyy,
for cheekbone implants how long will it take for the swelling to go down? will i be able to go about my daily activities after 3 months without looking as though i just came out of the operating theatre?
Also, to anyone who has ever done dimple surgery, the dimples will not be present when i am not smiling right? And how long will it take to look natural?
any replies will be greatly appreciated!
thanks

for dimples, first 2-3 weeks, the dimples will be present even when u dun smile, so warn everyone first! :P

only doing cheek implants next yr, so not sure abt the details, but my experience with other ops so far: any obvious swelling shld be gone after 2-3 weeks... in 3 mths time, u shld look very normal, but i expect the cheeks to deswell and reach a more defined shape in 6 mths

hey aadvark,
i saw your ps roadmap, and eh did u like your dimples in the end? so after 2-3weeks, your dimples were not shown even though u were not smiling?
Also, does buccal fat pad removal make your jaws look more defined?
Thanks so much for your reply!

lastly, i have very small eyes, so is there any surgery available to increase the circumference of my eyes before i do double eyelids? just a thought.... also heard double eyelids take the longest time for swelling to go down?

hello everybody, I am planning a trip to dr. nara with my daughter in January 2009 for facelift, cheek implant, eyes, necklift, breast lift and augmentation. do you know when to make an appointment up front? my daughter will have lipo, 3 sections. is there anybody who had a facelift done? how long does it take to have a normal face, I mean when the swelling is going down. I want to stay there for 2 weeks after surgery to prevent complications. I am flying from Europe so I am not local. is this enough time. thanks alot.

to idahaque, I cannot send you a reply to pm (not enough posts) but I have emailed dr. nara for an appointment on 12th of January, and hope that the operation will be soon thereafter. I plan to stay another 2 weeks to recover. so probably leave the January 30th.

Tummy Tuck

Post by idahaque » Tue, 14 Oct 2008 9:11 am

Hi,

I sent few emails to Dr. Nara but he did not reply any.
Can anyone tell me how much he charge for tummy tuck surgery?
Will it be better to do tummy tuck after my stomach lipo?

allthatjazz wrote:hi all... just wanna share some of my before and after nose pics with you guys. i love my new nose! the tip is still a little swollen but it's already nice enough for me. one thing i just can't stand is that my colleagues keep telling me i look "different" but they can't figure out why. and they keep staring at my face and scrutinizing it. =/

btw... anybody did botox at Dr. Nara's before? my mom is interested. hehe. botox is generally pretty safe right?
Hi, I really like what Nara did for you. Just wanted to check which procedure it is that you got done. How much in advance do you need to book it? And how much did it cost you?

Thanks a lot.
i did alarlasty and nose implant, total cost is 10,000 baht which is about S$400. =) i booked about 6 weeks in advance i think, but i was just being kiasu. i booked an appointment then went to book the free and easy at grassland. don't wanna book my coach and hotel then be told that Nara can't see me! also, 3 days before your appointment you need to call them again to re-confirm, otherwise your appointment will be cancelled.

Hi Allthatjazz..

Me too! I really like your nose. Its really nice and elegant. I have been following this thread for a while now and I must say I'm really tempted to go for the procedure as well especially after seeing your photos!! And at $400 a pop, its cheaper than a bag! :P

I would like to seek some advice from you though...
How many days of leave did you have to take before you were able to go back to work? Was the procedure done under merely local anesthesia.. or under General anesthesia? Was the post recovery difficult for you ? Excessive pain, bleeding etc? Anything I should take note and consider before taking the plunge?

sorry for the barrage of questions.. I'm a little nervous about the procedure. especially the post-recovery part.

Any advice will be appreciated...
Once again, great nose you got there! :)
