Hi, this is my first post after taking 5 days to read all the 170 pages. All of you people who contributed here are true gems, couldnt be more thankful for all this info!
I have read through everything and made up my to do rhinoplasty + lipo at dr nara's next month end.
Anyone going around that time too? maybe we could go together, i am going with my bf.
I have few questions. Can this 2 procedures be done on the same day itself?
Which compression garment do you all recommend?
And for the creams, what sort should i get for my nose job and lipo? Anti-scar? Aloe vera gel? Moisturiser?
there are so many mentioned, i am confused

thanks :)

Wow!! 3200cc is a lot!! How long after the surgery to take out the stitches? You're taking it out there or back in Sg?

results are yet to be seen, has only been a week after my surgery. bruising is rather bad, blue-black everywhere. did whole thigh (innter + outer) and butt anyway. thighs are still very sore from the surgery, but was able to walk on the first day. took out a total of 3200cc. there are hard lumps on my thighs right now but doctor say its normal and swelling will take about 2 weeks to go down.

overall, experience there was good as the doctor was very attentive and one can see that he's truly concerned about the welfare of his patients. he insisted that i be hospitalised after my surgery. he's also not that conservative in the amount he took out, which is good. have yet to try other types of lipo but so far waterjet has been fine for me. taking out stitches on wed. hope i've helped in my replies.

i have made up my mind to do alar+ rhinoplasty at Nara.

Would love to ask you guys:
1. Will it be ok if i take flight immediately (like afew hrs later) after the alar+ rhino surgery? as i have booked hotel in BKK.

ans: better not, u will feel drowsy, nose still bleeding first day. better to rest one night at least

2. I read somewhere that Alar will have visible stitches and only able to take off in one week, will it be ok for me to take off in SG clinic? any recommendation?

ans: can remove at most GPs

3. Rhino stitches is dissolveable?

ans: yes

4. If i doing lipo for cheeks and under chins at Nara, do i need to buy any garments?

ans: nara dun do for cheek and under-chin, from what i know

really thanks for any helps :)

I spent abt $5k in total. (Inclusive of flight and lodgings.)

Anyway, can do me a favour? Help me complete this survey for my fyp, and get your friends to help too if possible. Need 200 by end of week, thanks!

tat duzzen sound good.. how come need to change dressing everyday? i've not heard of such. how big is your incision?
my incisions are only 1 stitch each so its tiny, but the doctor wants me to keep the wound clean and prevent infection so changing dressing is just cleaning the wound daily and putting a proper plaster over it, I usually DIY at home, lols.
