Those that went to Dr Nara, how do you pay for surgery? He only accepts cash. What if you're doing multiple surgeries and the total amount is quite huge? I mean is it safe to carry all those cash in hatyai? Appreciate if someone can advise.. thks!

I didnt go with then for the surgery as mine wasnt a complicated case. ended up gping with naravee which is also in bangkok. Paid abt 3k for nose and eyes. Actually, he quoted me in us dollars but I believe if i had gotten him to quote me in Thai bahts, it would have been cheaper as they have no idea of the various rates of currencies. I met someone who did sex change frm that same clinic too. And she looks so pretty, and she also lived in amk. haha.

Mine was done fine but really looked very ugly the first one week. As compared to the same procedures done in singapore, I felt the one in bk looked pretty disastrous but end results were pleasing though. I also got to stay in the private ward of that clinic for the whole one week so saved on my accommodation, there was fridge, tv toilet. I watched dvds there the whole time as they had dvd player but bring ur own dvds as their dvds in bk a4re dubbed in thai. Though it is called a clinic but it looks big and there were many ward, it has 5 storeys too.

During the op, i was awake but unaware of what was going on. The one in Spore was very painful as the doc just jabbed my nose 4 times. It was so painful but the one in bk used sedation first, and injected into my hand, so really, i felt no pain. I was very scared at first cos i have a low threshold for pain but surprising, i felt nth.

I would say it was a nice stay as there were abt 20 over nurses there and they were very nice. So keep ur options open, i went 2 places for consultation, naravee and yoskarn. I think yoskarn u cant do on the same day of consultation but u can request via email before u go for the consult.

Anyway, bangkok is very nice but the taxi drivers seriously have a problem with cheating but that cant be helped as i went with my cousin, 2 girls only so we looked pretty vulnerable.

You did buccal fat removal at Tokkai right? How long did your cheeks swell up for? Is there bruising or anything very gruesome? How much did Dr charge you? Do you have to wear a compression garment of some sort?

Last year I think the clinic was in a temp. place. Now it is a few stories and quite nice and brand new.

I askd to see jaw implant pics but they didnt have any to show. they told me most patients dont want their pics there...but I did get to see lots of rhinos.

What did tokai say about your implants being large? I still have a feeling that it could be swelling

brow bossing is when you change the ridge of the bone that runs across the forehead just above the eyes. males have more prominant ones than females. mostly transexuals get it done to look more feminine. But i want to see if anyone has done that to look more masculine.

I was also thinking of eyelid (sagging skin removal) and rhino (i have an uplifted nose -sweet when you are a child but at 39 i am fed up with it) But i still hesitate because these procedures are so visible, i mean the change will be so clear. I sort of want to look better without people realising i had surgery.

if you doing eyelids, might take a while to heal, but for nose, if you have 2 weeks of leave to spare for nose to heal, most ppl around you wun be able to pinpoint the difference when u return. they might think u look diff, but wun remember why. that's the consensus i've gotten from ppl who have done rhino so far.

my first time (PS) is coming

I will be in Asia 6 weeks, so i will go back august 25th. If i do the eyelid surgery i hope the scar is not too visible anymore and i can use some consealer (but i am not the person to use makeup so even that will be noticed)
The nose; i guess there are more things i am stretching my mind about....i have an allergy and most possibly a deviated septum that gives uneven opening to the nostrils...and maybe i need my tonsils clipped , andyway i have some problems in the sinus area and if i do need the deviated septum to be corrected then it is better to do any rhino PS afterwards. And as i cannot have this all done before i leave i might decide to not do rhino.

OH and june 20th i go here for lasik (with wavefront and intralase) i will be with only sungoogles this summer!!!!
