Ho.. was wondering if anyone has heard Hyaluronidase injections?
stumbled upon this plastic surgeon's website, which claims that with the injection, there is slight/no oedema, even on the post-op day itself..
http://www.homme-femme.net/subpage/edema.html
would like to seek the opinions of the more experienced people here
if it really works, then no worries about looking like a freak after the op
Sampan,
chill chill!!! nothing negative intended..
I was just asking la, maybe i'm old fashioned or what, coz I'm a nurse (just graduated, so still very junior), and I had to be trained and take exams and pratical tests before being allowed to even do simple injections with supervision, so its quite shocking to me that people with no knowledge what-so-ever about injections or aspetic techniques etc, are expected to DIY them...
This forum has helped me alot, so I like to contribute whatever little I can.. I voiced out my doubts not to belittle your recommendation ( I'm sure its a great way to do the procedure at a fraction of the price), but to highlight points that other forumers might not know about
cheers[/u][/b]

Omg poor happyliving HUGGGSSSSSSS i have been so bz havent been ard for a while...do takecare pls . u r seein a specialist now? Do follow what he says. I understand it must feel sickenin to have to take it out and have a flat nose again but if all the docs advise u to..u really should follow their advice. n after taking out implant i think ur nose won b as flat as b4 cos scarring will cause it to b pushed up like jang's case? So mayb it won b so low? have hope. n most impt of all heal urself first!! HUGSS

Yes I have used it. Yes it works but its not a miracle like that site promotes it to be and its not that expensive as they claim either. Usually thats used to break down overuse or misplaced use of hyaluronic fillers. Thats its most common use.
To help swelling medically speaking youd have to tackle the cause and swelling is not necessarily bad thing. Just depends.
dont worry i wasnt being on the offense just explaining and i knew you were only voicing legitimate concerns. No problems.
Congrats on being a nurse!!!
But yes it really is that simple. And remember your training would have covered many many types of injections and different gauges and mediums etc. Not just a simple subcutaneous 30g insulin type injection.
eg if you were to administer an injection via IV you would first probably lower the blood supply via torniquet as example and tell the patient to pump the hand or simply squeeze it and you might even tap the area where their vein should be to cause temporary swelling to better outline the area. once you have found this area you might then clean it properly and sufficiently making sure everything is clean as your about to introduce an object directly into the blood stream. Then you might use eg a 25g needle and whatever syringe you need and insert initially at an angle of around 20degrees or so and once its in immediately lowering the angle to near 0 to follow right into the vein rather than poke out the other side and cause bleeding. Then you might do a simple aspiration test to make sure youve got it right, inject and withdraw whilst applying an alcohol swab tightly to the area and then finally maybe applying a small bandaid or taped cotton etc. Not to mention that you can administer IV injects from many places eg hands, legs, neck, arms etc etc etc and not to mention you would have to know what your administering and how much of it you should and where etc etc etc
That requires a lot of know how and technique and I would not advise that to people who know nothing about it and im well trained and versed (hope you can see that from the detailed injection technique lol)
A simple subcutaneous injection into fat does not require any real technique and you will not cause any harm. Hence patients are allowed to self administer a huge range of drugs via that method themselves eg insulin, b12, hgh and more
Just like I wouldnt advise anybody to administer botox on themselves which I do because most people arent trained nor know how to do so and in what doses and where for what effect etc.

hmmm i think there's no bus/train to go to tokai.. can take flight to bkk. it's at sukhumvit (in the bkk itself), so unlike nara (which is at hatyai- though in thailand, not in bkk) which we take coach lokyys wrote:Does anyone know where does grassland coach drop its passengers off if going to bangkok? I wanted to go to tokai. Would it be very long distance from its drop off point to tokai? Is there train/bus that goes directly to tokai?

there are quite a lot of budget airlines which offer affordable air tickets prolly around 100 for a 2 way trip?

i don't think there are any companies in sg which offer a coach ride all the way to bangkok, it would prob take more than a full day!kyys wrote:Does anyone know where does grassland coach drop its passengers off if going to bangkok? catch a budget flight to bangkok, and catch a cab to tokai
Next: Forehead augmentation, botox, RF

Hey aadvark...
i want to ask you something about nara. Does nara work himself only? as in he is the only surgeon there? because i have emailed him a few times and received replies from a person signing off as : ning , menthol and ying. Please reassure me that she's just the nurse or receptionist helping nara to reply mails =/

EMERGENCY INFO NEEDED
Hi Everyone,
I have decided to go to Tokai (Dr. Pat) for Rhinoplasty. He has said my nose is very complicated and thus I am being charged a high price. Nevermind that, but I'm going this coming Monday.
I never done ANY surgery in my entire life. Suddenly I am freaking out. I know I want this, but I don't even know what I'm scared of. I can't find Sineerch (Arnica Montana), I've already bought a whole bag of swabs, gauze, NaCl solution and mederma. Really need to know where to buy Sineerch, or if BKK itself sells it and where to get.
I'll be staying at The Bedrooms Hotel near TOKAI, taking tiger to BKK then cab to TOKAI for consultation then immediately surgery. I'm staying for 1 week. Wonder if Dr. Pat is willing to go through to check up on me everyday or at least every 2 days. Don't know how much bleeding or sickness is expected. What to eat what not to eat.
Although I've done research, I don't know why I feel so unprepared. I don't know how long the bruising will take to go down. 1 week is it normal? I understand swelling (means nose is a bit bigger, but no blotchy colours around), but bruising and weird looking face, approximately how long does it take to subside?
Please help me, anybody who has done rhino before. Especially for reduction rhino as I will not be doing implant.
Thank you in advance for everybody's help. Do please PM me if possible, or add me on msn pinqx@hotmail.com. I really hope people can help me, so I may be able to help too when I return.
Feeling very scared, but determined.. stoach tossing around.
