To start with you dont even need to go to a doctor since you can easily do it yourself and it would be much cheaper.

There is no set protocol or any documented studies that states waiting 1 month between treatments. Infact some places suggest 2nd treatment 2 weeks later and each subsequent treatment only 1 week later.

Again there is nothing to suggest you will only need 2 or 3 treatments and any doctor that says so is talking out of his her backside!

You can only roughly gauge but each person will respond differently and many other things factor in too such as diet, training, lifestyle etc

Again swelling is a personal thing. Some will swell more than others and some have minimal swelling. Also depends on what mixtures they have used to inject you with which can also lessen the swelling and pain but generally it will be a bit swollen and later become harder(means its working).

If you bought the whole medical grade kit yourself it would only cost you around 185 and thats 5 treatments worth right there. 5 sessions would make a substantial difference. But 10sessions is better just depends though on the area how much fat/sculpting you want done and how much can be done and how your body responds.

Besides when starting you dont really want to exceed 10ml-15ml mixture injection in an area. Then your body may adjust and later you can do more.
Do you mean we buy the kit and do the injection ourselves without a dr? Do you mean it comes wth a manual to tell us where to inject and then we sculpt the area ourselves and keep a journal to moniter the progress?

Exactly.

1. Take photos before from many angles and record measurements such as weight, bodyfat percentage, tape measurements etc.

2. Start injecting the area in question with the mixture evenly with many many injection points to cover the whole area evenly.

3. Let it work and give it time

4. Repeat again and again

5. Compare end result with original photos and statistics etc though the changes would be obvious.

THIS IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE and there is no special technique or dangerous amount or overdosing etc and certainly no need to pay some doctor exorbent amounts of money for something you can do yourself because what you do and what he will do is exactly the same.

Lets say you want your lower belly reduced/gone. He will inject that area in basically a grid pattern with each injection point 1-2cm apart with roughly equal amounts in each point. You can do that too yourself. He will inject into the fat under the skin (subcutaneous injection) and you can do that too. There is no special skill or technique just spread out a grid pattern and start injecting each point. thats it.

You could pray all you want but theres a cause and reason here and which one is at work is hard to say:

One possibility is that the area was infected from the beggining and your recurrent infections which just the same thing repeating itself. Thats the nature of bacterial/fungal infections. They can go out but to do so it has to be treated extremely otherwise it will keep coming back and they same antibiotics will work less and less well with it.
If you have had previous infections and gotten antibiotics what were you prescribed?

And now simply saying its $9 means nothing but if i remember correctly you said it was CLARITHROMYCIN ?? Which if true and that was you then the next question would be at what dosage and for how long? and just so your aware there are many more much stronger antibiotics.

Another possibility here is that your body is rejecting your silicone implant and all those infections etc are simply caused as a result of that rejection and the ONLY WAY TO CURE THIS is to remove the implant.

Another possibility is the implant was just too much for your nose ie it was pushing too much too much pressure against your nasal skin bones etc etc allowing for infections which also means removal of implant.

Have the specialist look at it but DO NOT TAKE RISKS!!!!! You can always get another implant. You can always augment it with cartiledge from the inside of your nose or ears etc and from bone too but you cant get another nose! if the infection gets severe you will ruin your nose permanently! You have had recurring infections and that alone would have told you SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT let alone pus coming all out etc
Hi Sampam,
You got the wrong person. I have never mentioned that antibiotics before. I'm having Avelox and cost $9 each. Thank you everybody for your kind concerns. I would be seeing a specialist on this wed and would update again.

you can try applying cold compress at the swollen areas, and also avoid eating oily food.

Oh another thing i would like to mention, wat sampan mention abt "swelling is a personal thing", it does not apply to lipodissolve. I asked Dr Wong if the amt of swelling would differ fr person to person for lipodissolve for cheeks. He said that everyone would get it because it's the medicine that is injected that causes the swelling. I did jaw lipo with another dr last Dec and nobody knew i did sth to my face, even my family members when i came home after jaw lipo on the same day. Even the dr was amazed that swelling after jaw lipo procedure does not seem to affect me much.

it would be scary to inject ourselves and we still have to get the right amount of mixture. usually after 3 sessions there will be good results shown unless u have a really chubby face, as the doc will advise for different individual, too much of it will cause a sunken look. if ur cheeks has a small area, u can request to inject at the jaw areas and chin as well, problem areas which u want the fats to dissolve

happyliving: sorry but the advise is still all valid for you. Did you have it checked out?

francyn: anything facially injected will usually show bloating and swelling and some points are much more prone to it than others eg under eyes.
Yep there is no set amount. Usually they will start from around the 10ml mixture mark and then go further.

maggieee: ABSOLUTELY!!!! Those cold ice gel packs against the area pronto helps a lot. The kits also come with a cream to reduce swelling redness etc. Ofcourse stuff like bromelain serreptase arnica etc also would help. But the cream and cold compresses is more than enough i think.

astrogirl: Yes I have. But dont have any real issues on my face did it on other parts of the body but only twice on my face inc cheeks.

Rosegarden: True. Note I never said it applies to cheeks or undereyes. But even those areas if you did it on a friday night applied the cream and cold compresses immediately then by monday morning for work you would be presentable.

Adonz: Which area did you do? How much was injected into each area? How much of the injection mixture was ACTUAL PCDC? Did you compensate by eating more food or snacking or higher calorie foods? Did you train and exercise? Its not a miracle or a weightloss thing but combined with a good diet and plenty of exercise it would work.

Maggiee: Not at all. Kits come with instructions and all the mixtures and step by step instructions. You simply mix the ingredients together get a syringe and start injecting. With cheeks or facial areas you would need much less than say thighs or abdominal areas. This is not rocket science and im speaking from experience. If youd like to pay somebody else much more money so they can inject you thats cool or maybe its scarey for you to do it yourself etc otherwise its easy.

i did it on a Sat evening, on Tues nite then 'regained' back my face. Wed report back to work. Dr Wong has cleverly estimated that it takes abt 4 days for my swelling to subside. If yr doc increases yr dosage, the downtime would definitely be longer than 4 days i think. Is Dr Myint the lady Vietnamese doc or is the other male doc? Not too sure.

Sampan... are you sure that its safe to DIY such injections??

I doubt people who have not been trained before would know how to maintain Aseptic Techinique, and to inject the right places, or practice the right injection techniques

If its a small needle(1cm max)+syringe ( eg. insulin syringe), then its safer.. but if its a normal sized needle, an untrained person runs the risk of hitting a major vessel/artery, and also major nerves...

littlemissy; this is not rocket science here or some precise form of surgery but rather very rudimentary medical procedure(if that at best).

Aseptic technique? Whats so hard there? Clean the area with alcohol swabs and keep it clean. If your fanatical even wear latex gloves.

There is NO right place injection. You inject subcutaneously into your fat. You form a grid pattern and keep injecting roughly the same amount each time. There is no right injection technique here lol Seriously this is not rocket science or hard or anything. Choose the area you want to sculpt, clean it with alcohol(if you want to be extra cautious) and even wear latex gloves just like your high payed doc(if you want to), form a grid pattern on the area and inject rougly the same amount each time. Its veryyyyyyy simple. And you cant go wrong because its subcutneous injections which mean you inject directly into the fat under the skin.

lol You dont have to worry about damaging anything because your injecting into fat adipose tissue therefore no arteries/veins etc. Your not injecting IM or IV so you dont even need to worry or aspirate or anything else.

The needles used are small ie 28,29,30,31g (all insulin sized needles).

its all very straightforward.
