I think the language used is impt, it is not nice to call ppl freak...that's not the way to make a point..at least not for mature beings..pls try to be more gracious & civilised in one's language..there is really no need to get all worked up when ppl disagree with u..sigh...

Is there a language difficulty here? Do people simply not understand straight forward written english without biasing it or changing it or misunderstanding it?

im suspicious of that 1 poster because thats all they did. sign up and show all that info when NOBODY else knew it nor is it posted anywhere hence why it makes it look suspicious.

show me where I doubted that the line was operated by Nara?????? i never did that.

and I already knew his number and the board certification number too(which first they said he isnt certified then said he is and from all the background noise etc i stated things)

actually i didnt call daybreak freak but much more colorful word but the board automatically changed it.

nothing wrong with people disagreeing etc AND THAT IS EXACTLY MY POINT. Nor is there anything wrong with posting concerns or anything else. TO DATE I havent accused NARA of anything read all my damned posts!!!!! Rather its some members here that have jumped to their own conclusions.

and about durian I have tried it and dont mind it but dont love it either but letting somebody operate on me and eating a fruit/vegetable/food/drink is worlds apart.

If I accuse anybody of something I would back it up with proof. And regarding tone and matureness thats exactly what im asking here too yet only the people here seem to jump up and down (since I know singaporeans are opinionated) and accuse me of things without any proof or misread/misconstrue/misunderstand what I have stated and imagine some imaginary insults to either doctors or themselves and interpreted things wrongly rather than at face value.

To date that only thing I know for sure is:
*His infection rates just in this thread alone seem to be quite a bit high.
*Once I was told by the board he isnt board certified then was told he is. Which is it still dont know.
*Atleast 1 patient had complained that he hadnt used enough anesthetic during liposuction
*I havent read of any MAJOR botches or anything

thats it. Hence why I havent removed him as an option but I do have other things to consider too including time off, travel costs, hotel costs etc etc etc
language- like an adult would tell a child to mind his language, that's what i meant. not the level of ur english. (btw, u haven't ans another forumer abt where u come from) what i meant was the way u wrote- the language was not pleasant, in fact quite offensive at times, since ur first post- eg
"who the hell is this guy?'
"Who the freak do you think you are??? "
"Jesus christ!!!!! getting so frustrated."
If this is meant to be a colorful language, i am not sure what kind of picture is being painted.
there is always a better way to express ur opinions w/o sounding crude/rude.

i am not a singaporean (this is an expat forum, isn't it?), but i think we humble ppl here do understand simple english, your royal highness. and to generalise singaporeans as "opionated" isn't fair either.

to be fair to u, u have provided some helpful info too, so for that i thank you, but i hope u can post more constructive info as such in future, instead of arguement. this is not the arena, u don't have to rip ppl apart.

I hope u can take this comment as a grown-up. i will not reply to whatever u post in future (yes, u did not ask for my reply, i am just being busy body, ok?)
all the best for ur search for an ideal PS.

you wouldnt know which is best for yourself until u had tried it, i wouldnt say Dr Nara is the best choice for me, but comparing the one i did at JB and Dr Nara, the latter is more reliable.

Sometimes, whether one has infections / unsatisfactory results, it may not be the doctor's fault. Everyone has different bodies and adaptability. Each has different recovery speed too. I know alot ppl had been to Dr Nara through frens/relatives 's recommendations, some perhaps dont even know the existance of this forum, bcos i had met a few Indonesians n Malaysians during my trips there, and chatted with them. Apparently it wasnt the 1st visit for them either.

til now, my face is still very chubby and my frens commented that they don't see any difference. my arms have only gone down by slightly less than an inch, so not too visible difference as well. i'm actually quite disappointed with the results.

i've also weighed myself, my weight from then til now is still the same.

i've emailed to dr pat abt it but he had suggested that i do chin implant to make my face look longer cos my face is wide. but i was looking at the old photos before i put on weight, my chin was very defined then even though i had a wide face. so i find that chin implant might not be neccessary. now my chin is still 'lost' inside my face which means i look like a round moon with no chin.. one side of my face is also bigger than the other side.

i've signed up for lymphatic massage and hopefully that might help to make my face n arms go down..
Dont tink will have much weight loss. Lipo is not for weightloss.

Hi Yunli,
I got mine from Osim. It's cover the whole face except eye & nose. It's good. Maybe you can try it out.

Hi Girl88,
We had traveled by Grassland and had also booked the hotel (Lee Garden Plaza) with them. The coach would dropped you at Lovely Tour and there would be a free took took to bring you to the hotel. Hope this help...

Hi All,
As some may be aware, I already had few rounds of infection since my PS in last year Dec. I have just started a new job and can't afford to have any leave nor mc. I had emailed to Dr Nara and the nurse had called asking me to go back asap saying my nose would deformed if don't remove the implant. I had also emailed to Dr Pat and he also ask me to remove asap if not I would lose my nose like michael jackson. I had spent alots of money since then. Now I'm taking expensive antibiotics that cost $9 each. My nose is having the worst infection among all. Red and swollen with pus coming out till my new colleague had asked what happened to my nose bridge. Super depressed.....
I know I have to remove it but after that how do I face my colleague in office. I would return to office with a flat nose. Both Dr Nara and Dr Pat replied that they can't do another implant for me straight away. Must wait for the infection to heal first.
Hence, I'm giving local PS a try hoping to have some good news. I'm praying very hard now.

[Aadvark: Is pineapple juice really good? I have been drowning myself those few days with it and more pus kept coming out but I also hack care liao. Anyway, I still continue drinking it. Hope it would kill the infection. Thanks anyway]

pineapples are meant to help deswell, not fight infections. you need other stuff for infection. This is so risky, why dun u remove the implant first and wear a big pair of glasses to hide your bridge? i dare say ur colleagues wun notice much diff that way.

Anyway, if they have started asking abt ur nose, then use it as an excuse to go for surgery, saying that it's some sort of infection inside and u have to go for surgery...

What about tokai clinic in BK ? How to get there by coach? If I travel with Grassland, would they dropped me at Lovely Tour and provide me a free tour guide? Are there hotels near tokai clinic?

Sorry shalom,
I just think that he keep pestering and ranting about him/her cannot get verifications but he/she dont trust us. then dont ask at all, its like, please describle an apple, we describle, he/she will say thats is not an apple, its an orangle. becoz scientist told me that is an apple. he/she trust him becoz that person is a scientist. then nothing we could convinced even we are the consumers. But he/she is like KEEP PESTERING and show attitude.
shal0m wrote:hey daybreak...i think we just leave the person be lah...it's like trying to convince someone to eat durian, if he never likes the smell of it, and have doubts abt how good it really taste, no matter how u try to convince also no use...

there is nothing wrong abt being sure of the qualification of the PS doc, in fact, this is strongly encouraged to be done. but when ppl provide the info, u doubt that the writer is nara, when ppl give u the number to call, u doubt that the line is operated by nara...since u r much more informed & educated in PS circle than most of us, i guess u can google or ask the other 'famous' thai PS that u know, for their thai medical board or PS society tel no, then u can verify, and u can come back and share with us. til then, let this forum be 'arguement-free', thank u very much.

i think the main purpose of this forum is for ppl to share their info on PS, their experience with their own doctors, whether good or bad, and others can benefit from it.
but if one tries to slander w/o concrete evidence, it is not fair. Certainly we will appreciate if one does thorough investigations and come back to share with us, but pls do not abuse this forum, let the investigation be done in private and the outcome can be posted here. i hope this forum is not some tabloids where their reporter just write whatever they want w/o taking responsibility.

I think the language used is impt, it is not nice to call ppl freak...that's not the way to make a point..at least not for mature beings..pls try to be more gracious & civilised in one's language..there is really no need to get all worked up when ppl disagree with u..sigh...

Let there be peace here...
daybreakk wrote:Actually this is simple, sampan dont go to nara becoz he charges too cheap to be true. We dont need you to tell us that nara is charging cheaper becoz of other reasons. you are actually quite irritating to be honest. We go to him becoz we like think he is reliable. If you insist that there is a reason for him charging cheaper and u cant get any assurance that he is safe then dont go for him. You sound so immature. I think you sound more like you are advertising for whoever surgeon u work with and keep on raising suspicion on nara. please just go away.. dont come here..
sampam wrote:francyn lay off! nobody here is arguing!

theres usually a reason why some can be so much cheaper etc than others.

I just spoke to Dr PAT at Tokai and he instantly knew of Dr Somyos Kunachak and said he is maybe best surgeon and very prestigious and skilled and a professor at top university and teacher of many surgeons and head of department in hospital. So as he said thats why he can do many nose cases etc that others cant because of his skills and experience etc.

Dr Pat however did quote me 120,000THB and so far thats the cheapest under complete GA because havent gotten anything from Nara price wise.
