Plastic surgery in Thailand (Bangkok / Hatyai)
i was when i did my nose and eyelids. i spent the first 3 days sleeping, so no problem there, once i felt more comfortable, i wore my glasses again.qwertyuiop wrote:gosh, is that fiona xie?(i'm just guessing)
anyways, aadvark, are you myopic? i'm just wondering if you are, how you managed post-op after doing rhinoplasty and blepharoplasty together. (can't wear contact lenses cos of the eyes and can't wear specs cos of the nose) thanks in advance!
But am now spectacle-free, thanks to lasik

and yes, that's fiona

Next: Forehead augmentation, botox, RF
Well that is a great find as it proves that i mentioned before fiona xie did her eyes, nose and boobs with a surgeon locally b4 her acting debut.Ms Juice wrote:fiona xie!aadvark wrote:

which plastic surgeon did she go to???
well cant imagine so many local man liked this plastic woman w/o knowing it.. even one of my ex idolise her, dawn yeo and paris hilton, i was like Wtf, idolise a plastic idol? lol
nevertheless, i dunt think the surgeon did a nice nose job as it is very obvious to those who knows PS well enough. BTW she and most other local tcs actress and actor (include bryan wong) did their PS with the doctor in paragon.
only phyliss quek did her PS at china. made in china! gosh she is really braved!

i'm going to get rhinoplasty done at dr nara's clinic. i don't know if i can do my eyelids at the same time because i NEED my specs/contact lenses. i read that it's advisable to avoid putting pressure on the nose for a few weeks after surgery and to wear specs only 3 months after. but apparently, that's not the case (as aadvark wore specs 3 days after surgery). aadvark, nothing went wrong with your nose post-op? did the doctor put your nose in a cast? if he did not, do you think i can request for a splint/cast?
also, i intend to go home the next day. should i wait a few months after the rhinoplasty to do a blepharoplasty? or just get everything done at a go? but i don't know how i'm going to make it back as i'll be by myself.

it depend on your spec weight. like my spec. it wear much less than 100g. i think is alright if u wear it 1 week post ops. as for you eyes jobs, ask the doc for his advises if u can do the eyelid the same time. usually is alriteqwertyuiop wrote:i'm going to get rhinoplasty done at dr nara's clinic. i don't know if i can do my eyelids at the same time because i NEED my specs/contact lenses. i read that it's advisable to avoid putting pressure on the nose for a few weeks after surgery and to wear specs only 3 months after. but apparently, that's not the case (as aadvark wore specs 3 days after surgery). aadvark, nothing went wrong with your nose post-op? did the doctor put your nose in a cast? if he did not, do you think i can request for a splint/cast?

if u do eyelids, u prob wun wanna go home the next day, since ur sight will be compromised a little. My nose was fine, no problem whatsoever. ok, it was a little sore to have the frames resting on my nose for too long a time, but nothing drastically painful.qwertyuiop wrote:i'm going to get rhinoplasty done at dr nara's clinic. i don't know if i can do my eyelids at the same time because i NEED my specs/contact lenses. i read that it's advisable to avoid putting pressure on the nose for a few weeks after surgery and to wear specs only 3 months after. but apparently, that's not the case (as aadvark wore specs 3 days after surgery). aadvark, nothing went wrong with your nose post-op? did the doctor put your nose in a cast? if he did not, do you think i can request for a splint/cast?

if you do both nose and eyelids, i recommend staying like 3-4 days, then u can get dr nara to check u b4 u leave for sg. Dr nara doesn't provide splint nor cast, not sure why, maybe he feels a simple L-implant doesn't require it?

i think it depends on why u got an infection. happyliving has gotten like maybe 5-6 infections since last year. There's a likelihood she's allergic to silicone. She's looking into getting an autologous implant instead with Dr Pat.rainieprincess wrote:how long aftr rhino surgery will one be safe from infections?

bryan wong's implant was very obvious. I remember he first came on a show after his implant, and i was shouting to my family "OMG, he did his nose!" loltanjhj wrote:Well that is a great find as it proves that i mentioned before fiona xie did her eyes, nose and boobs with a surgeon locally b4 her acting debut.Ms Juice wrote:fiona xie!aadvark wrote:

but not everyone can tell, depends on what u notice on other people's faces. I always look at the nose first. Some ppl look at the eyes, some mouth, etc... so ppl notice diff things

These days, specs don't weigh that much with titanium frames and high index plastic lens. My power is about 500-600+ each side. My most fancy plastic specs are only 48g, my lightest is 15g. They cost about $200+ but I think worth paying for. I made gradual bluish colour lens, NO coating. No one was the wiser about my eyelid surgery, because the lens reflection and bluish shade, no one could see my eyes well. Besides, with eyelid surgery, you need to do the compresses and rest in bed for at least a day or 2. Just listen to music if you are bored, avoid watching tv or reading.qwertyuiop wrote:i'm going to get rhinoplasty done at dr nara's clinic. i don't know if i can do my eyelids at the same time because i NEED my specs/contact lenses. i read that it's advisable to avoid putting pressure on the nose for a few weeks after surgery and to wear specs only 3 months after. but apparently, that's not the case (as aadvark wore specs 3 days after surgery). aadvark, nothing went wrong with your nose post-op? did the doctor put your nose in a cast? if he did not, do you think i can request for a splint/cast?
